The menu is mostly sandwiches with a few appetizers and salads. Booths line the restaurant, with tables and metal chairs in the center. Restaurant is extremely clean. All the tables have a mason jar of fresh flowers. They have paper napkins with real cutlery. There is a large room adjacent to the restaurant that they are converting to a bar. Specific for those 21 and over. As of the end of September, it is not completed . Our waitress is Morgan. She also is the manager of the restaurant for the evening. What a delightful, outgoing, personable girl. So glad we had the opportunity of having her serve us this evening. I ordered the Yardbird minus the bacon. It comes on a ciabatta roll with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. The roll was slightly toasted. The chicken is accompanied with a pesto sauce which I put on the side. I think the chicken is marinated. It had a delicious flavor and very moist. I accompanied it with the french fries. They are beer battered and I asked for extra crispy. Ask for the fry sauce. It is a ketchup, mayonnaise, horseradish mixed with spices. Absolutely delicious. My suggestion for the sandwich would be to melt the cheese. Mine came out, not melted just sitting on top of my chicken sandwich. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with the extra crispy fries. He said the roll was buttered and it made the entire meal. This is a little extra that a restaurant can do to elevate their hamburger. Score!! The music is too loud for the restaurant. It was difficult to have conversation. The odd thing to me is that whenever I've eaten at any other location in the past, I think the longest I've ever waited for my meal has been maybe 9 minutes, tops. No matter the time of day or night. We waited 23 minutes for our meals. It seemed that drive-thru is priority, then to-go, then dine-in. The animal style fries were pretty good, though I'm used to it being slathered with more sauce. Thankfully, I was able to get a few sauce packets and gleefully doused to my delight. However, the bun of my burger was so over toasted! The buns were actually hard and crunchy. I'm not used to that. The burger tasted like before but it was dry and overcooked as well. The lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese were very fresh and flavorful. My husband had the same experience with his burger as I did. Tables were not wiped down and the condiment station was out of almost everything when we got there. They didn't refill all the cups, chilis, etc. until right before we left. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.

I ordered the new Parmesan chicken club, which unfortunately does not come in a combo...so I ordered the 50/50 (fries and onion rings) and my husband had the charburger with cheese combo.
