Amazing beer!. Amazing Food ( no really , not bar food but like Amazing Food!...with specials that change daily) and an interactive quiz every month read more

Had drinks here and really enjoyed the vibe. The place is a great hangout for locals and there is a big communal table at the center which allows strangers to interact. The crowd is mostly younger folks from the neighborhood. Food and alcohol is pretty reasonably priced. I will have to come back and try the food. read more

The mussels and fries were amazing, as well as the great selection of beer. Really laid back crowd and fresh breezes make this a great place to stop in after a walk through Prospect Park or before a movie. read more

Fantastic draft beer selection and good looking menu. The staff was cool, and the atmosphere was just fun. Cash only.

Great beer selection, nice staff and awesome burgers and fries. I've meant to try other food items since the burgers are so good. It's a great sure bet when walking around Prospect Park. Nice ambiance and feel. Music is a bit random, so don't be alarmed if you get hiphop followed by Sinatra followed by Coldplay; just they way they do it. read more

After a good burger experience, I recently was served a horribly raw burger , it was awful. I sent it back and after a long wait, I received a new one almost equally raw. Super drag. Very disappointing! The soup was equally disappointing and after a quick unsatisfying experience we were $25 poorer. read more

Can't comment on the food, but had some drinks here recently. Great little spot for a date or catching up with friends. Warm, cozy, and a large beer selection. Definitely has the low key Brooklyn vibe most are looking for. read more

This place rules. The staff are genuinely friendly and both of our meals were terrific. I had the catfish burger which was unbelievably good (my side salad was fresh, huge, and delicious). My husband got the regular burger and said it was really good, a solid B. The portions were generous and the service was some of the best we've had in NYC over the last 6 months. read more

With what little time I spent here I enjoyed it. Date and I ordered the burger and christ almighty it was good. Mostly because the bread was buttered than anything else. Should you decide that you no longer respect yourself or you're married and no longer care about your body, do order it for you have put happiness over health as your priority. Drinks were fine. Atmosphere is cool. Seating is limited. read more

Great place. Great Food! Remember to bring cash ;)

Great ambiance (lots of open air coming in when its warm) and incredible drinks + food. If you're looking to relax and just talk to whoever is around you, this is definitely an ideal location to do so. Seriously, the drink selection is impressive and the food is far from shabby. My single complaint is the lack of credit card acceptance, but when I have cash, this is where I want to spend it. read more

Good Happy Hour--I went on a Sunday and the beers were $4 from 12-4. But I wanted a mimosa. No mimosas. Not the end of the world but I was disappointed. I got the white alagash instead and was happy. Poor Cider choice. read more

They don't take credit cards here, like many spots in NY, but they do have a thriving business as evidenced by the constantly packed bar area. The cheeseburger was good, fries respectable and the arugula salad was very hearty and fresh. Lots of craft beers available. Order food in the back- I give them 3 stars for food, 4 for ambiance - but no credit cards? read more

Bartenders are aloof to the point of being rude and completely ignoring you. Crowd is homogenous and boring.

The place is small, so if you can, try to keep your group to a minimum. I spent New Year's Eve here and all in all it was a pleasant experience. Luck played a part because we were able to get a table near the bar's TV and watch the ball drop. If we had not been able to pull that off, I don't think my experience would have been as pleasant. Points for an excellent beer and bar food selection, but points off for the wait time to get a drink on a crowded night. It wasn't for lack of effort on the bar's staff though. They probably could have used more hands. read more

This is an excellent bar. A great selection of beers, friendly service, big wooden tables (each with a wide array of condiments for your food) and top notch food. We had the steamed clams (cooked perfectly) and the jerk chicken sandwich which is one of the best sandwiches I've had in NYC - both light and dark meat covered with a punchy jerk spice crust and cooked beautifully, a brioche style bun, chipotle mayo and a huge portion of their delicious thin, crispy fries on the side... it was so good. Ask for a pot of their garlic mayo and you're set. read more

They always have a great selection of beer, as well as my favorite macaroni and cheese! My only complaint is that the seating is very limited, so it's not the best place for groups. read more

Delicious burger, great staff, awesome fish sandwich, and great beer selection. Bonus points for summertime with the front windows open!

Best craft beer spot in south slope hands down, with a nice community vibe, wasn't wowed by the food though.

I came here on a Sunday night with my boyfriend after a long day of moving and it was a welcome sight. They have a killer draft selection and self seating everywhere which is either a total boon or your worst enemy. Order drinks at the bar and food in the back. Really delicious and perfectly cooked chicken wings with perfectly sliced scallions on top--non traditional and totally unique. We also got a burger with some of the best double fried French fries I've had in awhile. The Mac and cheese is a stomach bruiser in the best way possible. The bacon they put in there blew our minds. Prices were more than fair and the portions were large. Cash only! read more

I do like this spot but jeesh the lady bartender has a big chip on her shoulder and can really make for an unpleasant experience. Also, they should add a few more items to their food menu, in particular fried pickles and they should permanently have their pork belly tacos which are to die for, and veggie burgers for all the the veggie eaters that come. read more

Excellent, and I mean excellent, beers on draught. I've been there twice on the past month, and both times the bartenders were knowledgeable, quick, and no-nonsense, which is all I need. Communal table seating is great and plenty of seats at the bar. TV is not too prominent or intrusive. Food is very tasty. Only drawback is they don't take credit cards, which won't stop me from returning, unless I'm low on cash. read more

Has a lot of microbrews thats good if you want to spend $6-7 bucks. But I agree with other people a cheap beer would be nice. Place gets tight if there are no seats left. Now if you do get a seat the place has a nice vibe and up in these parts it is better than Farrells. read more

The best thing to happen to the neighborhood!!!!! The burgers and fries are some of the best I have ever had in nyc (the grilled cheese and pork sandwiches are also pretty good). I have yet to try the lunch special, but I love the idea that I have cool, yummy options during the day. The bartenders are always nice and always remember my drink of choice. While it's true that I see laptops (I don't understand who wants to bring a computer to a bar anyway) and strollers from time to time, it generally clears out by 5 or 6pm. I like the diverse crowd and have never had a bad time here (or drink for that matter). My only complaint would be to the lone patron who decides to take up a four top table. All in all, always a good time. Love the Double Winz! read more

Great and many micro brew beers...bartenders are nice and helpful in finding and choosing the right selection...grub is pretty dope too...nothing too outrageous or radical for a bar but solid...Only gripe...it gets loud! However, this is the coolest and bestest bar within the Windsor Terrace 'hood... read more

A great, though loud, place to have a few drinks and grab a bite. It's a bit tough to find a spot, especially if you want to eat, but people there seem to take the communal seating policy to heart. My wife and I went on a Friday night and cozied up with another group until a table opened up. If you're going with more than a person or two, it might take you a bit longer. Once you're seated, it's a solid draft list, and the bartenders seem pretty knowledgable and willing to let you sample before you order. The food is also very good - we had the wings, pulled pork, and the wild mushroom and sage pot pie (in deconstructed form so there's no soggy pastry). All of them were worth ordering again. My only criticism is that it's cash only, which is a bit of an inconvenience when you're ordering dinner in addition to drinks. So in short: good beer, good food, nice setting, and right next to the 15 St-Prospect Park subway. We'll be returning soon. read more

If only they had a "no douchebags" policy, this place would be awesome. I guess it's not really their fault...even douchebags need to get drunk every now and again. read more

Great place for a nice chat and a fresh cold beer. Bring your friends, bring your cash, I mean it. Cash is the only way to pay for a drink. Your plastic can sit it out for this one unless you want to play the ATM Fee game. And Ask for Josh, to assist you, on Friday and Saturday nights. read more

I ate here with friends after seeing a movie in Prospect Park. It has the typical bar feel and if you like watching football, it's definitely a good place for that. I ordered the mac and cheese w/ cheddar and fontina with bacon and it was pretty good but not the best I've ever had. I have to say, if I ordered it again, I would probably get it without the bacon because it was very chewy and not what I am use to. read more

Great neighborhood bar with amazing food. It's a shame that it is cash only, but whatever. It's never kept me from coming here. They have a truly awe inspiring beer selection for the location/size of the bar. It's a phenomenal after Prospect Park spot to go and very close to the subway. read more

One of our favorite places in the north slope/Windsor Terrace. Good quality healthy food at a good price. Good buzz. Great beer selection. recommend the cider in winter. We like ordering the food at the window and having it delivered at our table. A warm atmosphere. read more

The classic rock is overwhelming. When the levies fall and Hudson overwhelms our families, the DW playlist is what the government will play to mollify the public before we suffocate. A good tap helps, but it's hard to see the relevance of IPA as the earth shrivels and Billy Joel drones on. read more

This place is great. Chill Neighborhood vibe, lots of regulars. But not in a sour-smelling "old man bar" sort of way. Sure, there are hipsters. Sure there are people reading books at the bar and talking about articles in the New Yorker magazine. So WHAT? There are always new beers on tap and Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious. Windsor Terrace needed a place like this. read more

Overpriced BLT ($13 w fries) that I had to order at "the window" across from the bar, pay with cash only, and mop the mayo off when it arrived. Maybe I should have said "easy on the mayo, use a spoon not a shovel". But, who knew? Jovial place but seriously over rated by Yelpers. read more

I love the food. Great beer selection. I tend to go to the Adirondack more because the take note of locals and take back a beer every once in a while. A little thing like that goes a long way. If the bartenders here did the same I would always go here first! read more

This is our favorite neighborhood bar!! The atmosphere is chill and the food is delicious. We especially like the set up of paying in advance for the food. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I was there last Saturday. The bartender gave my card to another patron. When I'm ready to close out he says he lost my card. He apologizes and says he would not charge me for my beers. I cancel my card immediately and have to go home without it. When I got home I see I have been emailed the receipt and I was charged and it was signed by an unauthorized person. I have tried calling the bar several times throughout the week with no success of getting through to a person. In addition, they have no voicemail set up. I have left a message via yelp and still a manager has yet to reach out. Absolutely horrible! No plans of going back. read more

Great neighborhood bar everytime I'm prospect park i love to come here a drink a few beers, bartenders are always awesome the vibe is always on point everyone always seem to be happy when they go there, i recommend this place if you want to enjoy good beers and good company. read more

I want to love this place. When it first opened, it was a breath of fresh air in a neighborhood that could use a few more bars. My boyfriend and I were excited for the potential of a new "corner bar." The location and beer selection are great, as are the open windows and plentiful seating. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. We gave it a solid 7-10 visits and 85% percent of the time were really turned off. The Sunday afternoon bartender is the worst. She is irritated by your every request, patronizing to customers, and cannot remember your drink after several rounds (even if you're the only one at the bar). Although they have a huge TV, we were scolded for asking them to turn it on. It has the potential to be a great post-work spot or a regular lazy Sunday locale but until they find some bartenders who are genuinely happy to be there, or at the very least not pissed off at your presence, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Friendly service, good variety of tasty beers. The best place I can think of to wind down an afternoon in Prospect Park.
