Nice setting overlooking the beach. We sat inside as outside was too hot for us. Our server was friendly and attentive. Their drink selection is nice, strong. We shared the coconut shrimp which was tasty. My fish sandwich was great, nice flavors with the hummus and avocado. I think the fish needed some more flavor/spices but I could tell it was fresh. My boyfriend said the burger was decent. I ordered the corn but it didn't arrive, this stuff doesn't bother me as I've worked many years in the industry. Nice place in Tybee! Located behind a hotel, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled. Our server was sweet, took a while to get our drinks, but when she returned, she let us know how busy they were and warned us that food could take a while. Since it's a vacation spot though, I wasn't surprised (it was also a Saturday night). We ended up sitting outside and we had a really pretty view. The music from the bar was kind of loud, but it didn't bother me that much. One of my girlfriends got the coconut mojito and loved it. For dinner, we all either got the fried or steamed version of the shrimp dinner, and we enjoyed it. We got there around 730, and we didn't wait long at all (party of 3) for a table outside, but that could vary, of course. There were a lot of larger parties waiting. This restaurant seemed like it was a little newer, pretty decent selection on the menu. Overall, pretty nice spot! read more

No wait on Fourth of July weekend which was great! Staff was super nice and provided a lot of information about the menu. Yet the dishes are very pricy and the portion sizes are SMALL. Don't get the lobster summer wrap, it is about the size of an egg roll. You will not be fueled enough to survive a full day at the beach. And it was $20! Drinks are great tho and decently priced so just go to the bar. read more

$17 for fish and chips---that's expensive for one piece of fish. And tacos came with no sides. We came here for dinner. It's definitely more of a lunch spot than dinner. For lunch this would be perfect. I suggest they switch up their menu for dinner to something more substantial. We both felt hungry after eating here but there wasn't a lot to choose from without having to order a third meal. So we just left and got more food somewhere else. We had the shrimp tacos and fish and chips. The shrimp tacos were good but the fish (fried cod) was mediocre. I order chips and salsa as well. The salsa was very bland. One of the better on the beach spots on the Island. The house.cocktails were A+. We all had something different to eat and all were excellent. From the smoked wings (sweet & spicy) , burger , salmon BLT , and fish-n-chips, each were delicious. Just follow the signs in the garage and you'll be rewarded. read more

This place was pretty good. Our server was kind, however maybe due to lack of servers she wasnt so attentive at the beginning. They were not even busy at the time. Their prices were a bit high for their portion size. The seafood platter supposedly serves 2-3 people. There were too much fries instead of seafood. However their presentation was neat. We ordered a "cup" of their seafood chowder, it was served in a ramekin and had more potatoes than seafood. I would recommend this place, over all, they just need to up their portion size. read more

Terrible customer service. Went there with party of 8. Called ahead and talked to said they would accommodate although they did not take reservations. Went to the resteraunt and they would not sit us and when asked why they said a guy in front of us called ahead already and had reservations even though his party wasn't there. We explained we had called earlier but they still wouldn't sit us. Resteraunt was not crowded. read more

This place is wonderful. It has a great ocean view, and the food is amazing. Our waitress, who I believe is named Sami, was super nice and checked up on us constantly. additionally, the drinks came in around 2 minutes and the food in around 10. It seems like The Deck has the potential to be a really awesome spot but they still need to work some things out. My husband tried to order the creole and they were out of it. He got the chicken instead and it was below average. He did, however love their lemon basil martini which was made in-house. I had the avocado toast which was solid. We had the loveliest time sitting on the deck with our dog, looking at the ocean! The cocktails and french fries were incredible and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. One thing to note is that dogs are lovingly allowed on the back deck, but do not bring them on the beach (there's an access path from the restaurant) or you'll get a citation! read more

The Deck is steps from the beach with an open air patio serving great drinks and solid food. The coconut shrimp served with two dipping sauces was quite good and the calamari was perfectly fried. I don't like an overly sweet margarita so the waiter ensured that my drink was made with fresh lime juice, herradura tequila and just a hint of agave. We didn't dig deeper into the menu but as a place to get appetizers and drinks I don't think you'll go wrong here. read more

Hubby and I are here from South Florida and this was recommended to us as a great place. It was ok in our book. I will say the waitress was great and the service was good. Outdoor seating would of been wonderful but it was unseasonably cold. Very small menu with average food. I ordered crab cakes with pineapple chutney on green salad. What was served was two nice crab cakes. Tina of crab and minimal filler. The "chutney" was diced up canned pineapple. There was no remoulade or any sort of dressing to go with. Very odd. My husband had a take on buffalo chicken wings called buffalo pork shank. He enjoyed it. Very tender. Nothing bad to say just nothing special either. read more

We really enjoyed the ambience, and the staff was great. The only problem was that I felt the food was just OK. My wife had the salad with shrimp. The shrimp were grilled, then cut in half to make it appear there were more shrimp on the salad. I had the fish sandwich. It was topped with a Wasabi mayonnaise that, unfortunately, was no spicier than regular mayonnaise. The fried fish really looked great, but unfortunately we did not order that. Maybe we just hit an off night! I really enjoyed the evening and really wanted to give this place a great review. It was a nice little 20 minute ride from Savannah, and very different from the Historic District restaurants. We made reservations tonight by the phone number on their website for a group of ten. When we arrived they told us we did NOT shave reservations and that we never called them. We showed them the number we called and where we got the number and they told us that was the WRONG number and that it was for DIFFERENT website. They didn't even offer to get us a table and there were plenty of open tables!! Never have I EVER had such awful customer service. I DO NOT recommend coming here! read more

If you want a quick dinner with great views, good service, and easy, free parking, go the The Deck! We went here twice and everything was good. It's not remarkable, but it is good. The service was great and the servers are knowledgeable. Both times that we went, our food came out within ten minutes. Everyone liked their food. We all ordered drinks and they were all delicious. We enjoyed going out onto the beach after dinner for a short walk. The restauarant is in a resort and free parking is in an underground parking area. read more

This place has a lovely beachy atmosphere! The deck itself was cute & has a stage for live music. I'd have loved to be there for a performance. Staff was very friendly. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. I got fish tacos which did not seem to be worth the price as they were rather bland. Also, I wasn't aware that this restaurant was directly connected to the small hotel pool. This, in my opinion, was a negative aspect as there were screaming children within earshot the whole time. read more

Our favorite place we ate during a weekend trip to Tybee Island. The food was really tasty. We had Mexican street corn and calamari for appetizers. Really generously-sized. We ordered the grilled market fish and fish sandwich for mains... both were fresh and flavorful. I had a caipirinha to drink... and although delicious, should have been strained as I got a mouthful of pulp on every sip. We didn't try other drinks, although they could benefit from either filtering their water or serving bottled as an option (very fishy). A bit expensive, but not any more so than much less tasty places on the island. And can't beat the ocean views and really clean, nice decor. We will be back. read more

Shocked by all the positive reviews. Margarita and caipirinha cocktails were terrible and even the chips with queso, salsa and guac were awful. The former two were jarred, the guac was decent and the chips were stale. Was planning to stay for dinner but we'll take a hard pass and go to one of our regular Tybee spots instead. We are locals. First time there was a few weeks after they opened, let's just say it wasn't a good experience in many ways. Decided to give them bother try last Sunday and again last night. Had same waitress on both occasions, Erica. What a sweetheart! Great waitress! The Deck should be proud to have her on their team. Drinks were excellent! Food was very good as well.... we've had the coconut shrimp, steak sandwich, buffalo shrimp tacos and fish and chips. Fish wasn't anything to write home about but still very tasty. Nice atmosphere. Try to sit outside if it's not too hot outside. Highly recommend! Ask for Erica. Update: been to The Deck numerous times. Not sure what's going on but something has changed and it isn't good. Drinks different. Seems like they are being watered down..., Asked for a shot of liquor, took at least 20 minutes. Waiter comes back and apologizes and says they had to go FIND the liquor. Ok that's just a very strange thing to say esp since the bar is open. Ordered chips and queso which we order almost every time we go in there. They brought out nacho cheese instead of queso with no explanation. Food quality has changed too. We are locals and want to support them but with this latest visit we are going to have a hard time recommending this place or going back. Dined in during COVID. Great staff and precautions. We had appetizers of coconut shrimp, wings, calamari and a basket of fries. Plenty for four people on a mid day break from the beach. Staff wearing masks and option of outside seating. A plus was live entertainment boy did we all need some of that!! read more

We went in the off-season, so maybe they are still trying to dial it in with cooks. The food was not great. The pork belly appetizer was overly fatty and soggy, I usually like it crispy. The Bahn Mi Shrimp sandwich was OK. The fried platter of calamari, shrimp, cod was the worst. It was all way over-salted and just a sloppy mess. On the bright side our waitress was amazing. Everything about this place is top notch. It's right on the beach (total bonus!) & welcoming to families & couples. We came for lunch one day when our beach day was getting a short break with an afternoon thunderstorm. The beer was cold & the food was amazing. Owners of Collins Quarter on Bull just opened this gem. They do lie a bit on the menue. "Small Bites" aren't necessarily "small." They'll definitely become known for their specialty margaritas. I liked the spicy one. Loved the dip that came w/ the sweet potato fries. Tacos tasted fresh. These people know how to put a healthy feel-good flare to almost everything they touch.
