With one bite you can tell everything is cut in house. One of my pet peeves is old avocados. The avocado they served is fresh and delicious and ripe. The front was kind and talkative. A bit too loud inside for me. Nevertheless, outdoor dining was nice, plenty of space. My mom and I had good time. I would go again.

I wanted to like this place, but it fell a little short of my expectations to be honest. The interior is so cute, warm, and comforting! Their staff were so kind and warm, I feel like they truly care about the experience at the register as a genuine connection with their customers! My issue was the coffee and food, though. I feel that, for a place to have a "coffee & kitchen" tagline, they must be on-point with their coffee. This was not the case. My latte was watery, and my friend's chai was worse! Their breakfast sandwich was good, but too oily. I was so excited for the ambience, but ultimately I was a bit disappointed...

It's a small, quiet cafe with limited indoor seating but about twice as much seating outside (a dozen tables or so), which is nice in the warmer weather months. We stopped here to get a couple breakfast sandwiches. They were not bad; we ordered the Joan Jett sandwich with bacon added to it. It would have been better if the bacon was cooked; it was only about half cooked. They also sell coffee and tea, and they have some beer and stuff as well. Maybe even fill growlers? But definitely had cans in their cooler. They don't have online ordering, but they do have an order hotline you can call to place your order ahead for pickup. There's a small parking lot I. The back fit the businesses here.

We were passing through and we wanted to go to a good coffee place and we stumbled upon Moke's. It was very cozy and the staff were very friendly and they welcomed dogs. They have lots of outdoor seating. Their prices range from $5 - $15. They had a lot of delicious breakfast options, a good ambiance, and nice music. The food is very good and I highly recommend Moke's to anyone who wishes to go to a nice and friendly place.

Great service, great food, great coffee. This is a great place to grab a quick bite, outside seating is also available

Bacon,egg, potato breakfast taco

Soooo good! I LOVED the bananarama waffle!! Absolutely delicious !! The bacon breakfast taco was also delicious. I also got an iced white mocha that was perfectly made. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Would definitely recommend!!! I went on a Friday and I didn't have to wait very long for my food maybe 15mins. Just beware of weekends because the wait for food on Saturday was 40mins and I couldn't wait that long.

Coffee is amazing. One of Eugene's best! Food was mid. Overcooked eggs and not worth the shmoney. Waffle is ur best bet if you must eat here. Cute place tho :) Edit: chai is not good

Can the waffles be made vegan?

There is dairy and butter in the waffle batter. We do offer some vegan cookies as well as several vegan dishes on the menu. Our RBG Tofu sandwich and our Vegan Breakfast Taco are great. Cheers, Mike

I heard it's usually an alternative / low key queer bar, more like mixed to me, which is nice. I know they recently made a change about free events turning into free with a drink purchase, which is reasonable! I've been low to no income, to where $10 is a splurge for me. I never got to go to a free event, but if I can't afford it I just don't go! Gotta keep the lights on, and $5 for a goth night was perfect for me. I had so much fun, the music was sweet and the outdoor area was nice too. The dance floor is small- kinda as big as their bathroom- but very accommodating, everyone seemed to have space to do their own thing. The one thing that did puzzle me is that they had a sign on the bathroom that said woman and then said it was all genders. I feel like maybe just taking the woman sign off would be simple enough. The message seems to just be "no urinal". The bathrooms are clean and plenty of stalls though!! I can't say anything about the drinks or food this time around, just the vibes which are great :) Lots of variety of events here, I'm sure I'll be back!

Really great fresh food with some interesting combinations. We came here on a whim (no…read morereservations) while visiting my wife's niece at UofO at around noon on a Saturday. Busy but they had a table for us. Very nice decor, rotating menu. We had the buckwheat pancakes with caramelized bananas, dates, and pineapple syrup which was sweet but not overly so since the pancakes underneath were not touched by the syrup ended up being a really nice balance. Bacon was like a cross between pork belly and bacon (very thick) but really tasty. Breakfast Sando was good with in-house ground pork and a nice aioli. We also tried the savory macarons (Brie and truffle) which are delicious. Creamy and a tad sweet. Not too much truffle. Coffee was a bright tangy pour over-not my favorite type but some people really like that style. Oh, and we had a blood orange mimosa which was really good Overall an excellent experience! As someone who eats gluten-free, it's usually hard to find places where I can actually enjoy the whole menu without feeling limited, and where the food is genuinely good. Everything was so delicious that I didn't even think to take a photo before we finished! We had the goat cheese appetizer, veggie Mac and cheese, and Nashville hot sandwich, and everything was amazing. I also really appreciated that everything is made in-house, even the potato chips! Even after all that food, we left feeling satisfied but not overly full, which was a nice surprise. Honestly, it was one of the best gluten-free meals I've had in a long time. If we're ever back in Oregon, we'll definitely be coming again.

We had spent nearly…read moreeverything we had to make the move, and my husband immediately had to start traveling for his new job. On our first morning in our new town, we went to The Original Pancake House for breakfast. It was a simple meal, but one we were grateful we could afford. When we asked for the check, our server smiled and told us someone had already paid for it. That small act of kindness made me feel like I truly belonged in our new home. It reminded me that even in an unfamiliar place, there were good people who cared about others. Since that day, every time we visit The Original Pancake House, we make it a point to pay it forward whenever we can. It's our way of honoring the kindness that meant so much to us and has stuck with me. Beyond the beautiful memory, the food is incredible. It's hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Comfort food that tastes like it's made with love. You must try the Dutch baby! The ladies who work there are always so warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home. The Original Pancake House in Eugene is a charming, family-friendly spot with genuine warmth and stellar coffee. The casual, lively vibe makes it feel like the proper brunch destination you'd hope for from a legendary breakfast joint. We ordered their hero dish--a side of buttermilk pancakes--and the Irish Omelette. The pancakes delivered real flavor: fluffy, tender, with classic buttermilk tang. My only critique? They arrived cool, likely from sitting in the warmth window a bit too long. Off the griddle, these would shine. The Irish Omelette was more disappointing. Designed to be airy and light with corned beef and potatoes inside, ours was overcooked and rubbery--far from the delightful, pillowy texture it should be. For a restaurant with this history, execution should be consistent. The coffee and service were warm and attentive, which goes a long way. 3/5 stars. Worth visiting for atmosphere, especially if your pancakes arrive hot. Try during slower service to avoid the window-sit fate. The Portland location executes at a higher level.
