oooh! I love finding a new place to eat a delicious lunch. A very laid back environment where you'd expect to see a lot of fit, health conscious, yoga-type people to eat, but not pretentious at all. My friend and I met here for a lunch date since it's between our places of work. We shared the greek salad, which includes a hardboiled egg (you could add another) and plenty of yummy black olives. We also ordered "toast" which I had mistakenly expected to be a piece of toast with spread on top... we got the one with goat cheese, figgy jam, and sliced pears. First off, it's two HUGE thick slices of delicious bread with toppings oozing off of it. Very generous plate! My friend also very much enjoyed her matcha chai (very ginger-y) and we might've gotten a peach scone to start (so moist and yummy). Although their espresso machine wasn't running the drip coffee is great and the juice is freakin awesome. I got into juices a couple years ago and I'm all about the not sweet cold press style. Their juices are "pressed" fresh daily as I'm told they have to be in order to maintain the nutrients. Either way it's much better than you can get at the store. read more

How have I lived in the neighborhood for three years and only just now stopped into The Corner Beet? Absolutely adorable little cafe with an organic, sustainable, locally-sourced all-star menu. I came with a girlfriend and we enjoyed tap kombucha as well as the greek salad (her) and the Farmer toast + avocado and goat cheese (me). The salad was MASSIVE, and my toast was topped with so many fresh greens that I was full by the time I even found the toast underneath (it was there, and it was well worth the work to get to it!) They even sell Coconut Cult yogurt (!!!) and CBD products (!!!). Can't wait to make this a regular staple in my personal Denver food scene. read more

The "toasts" are ridiculously huge and delicious. One order could easily feed two people. The one with the pesto, mozzarella and tomato was lovely. Unfortunately, it took them 45 minutes to prepare two orders of toast even though the place was empty, but I would recommend stopping by if you have an hour to kill. read more

I was so excited to try this place out for breakfast, I even drove over 30min to get here just try to one of the lovely described toasts. When I got there the place was empty, I was expecting a morning rush of people wanting coffee or breakfast. So with the place empty I figured my food would come really fast. I ordered some toast with jam and almond butter and a berry smoothie. After about 5 min I receive my smoothie. I keep waiting and still no toast, how long can it take to make toast! You can see the cook in the back from the front of the cafe, the cook was eating breakfast herself and clearly not even dealing with my order. After 15 min of waiting I finally receive my toast. After getting to my morning destination I go into eat my toast. Ugh I was so disappointed, the bread was hard as a rock and so hard to eat. I really wanted to leave this place with a 4-5 star yelp review in my head. But my goodness, those toasts are so expensive lol. I wouldn't mind the price of the toast so much if the quality of the bread was better. Yes, it's crusty. But not that like the toasted pleasant kind of crusty. The "omg I need my knife and fork to cut this into itty bitty pieces other wise it's going to tear off the roof of my mouth" kind of crusty. The girls that work here are really nice. The juice is good, but once again overpriced. And warm? I've never had warm juice before. I guess my expectations were too high coming from LA. This cafe really sets itself apart from every other cafe I've walked into in Denver. And I've been to quite a few because I love açaí bowls & everything delicious. The young lady that greeted me and made my açaí bowl was very kind & polite. Very informative and suggested her own opinions which I love. I love the energy when you walk in, incense burning (not overpowering at all) and a mix of songs I've never heard of before but they pulled me in so quick I ended up shazaming every song while sitting here writing this. What I thought would be a quick trip to go with my açaí bowl, ended up me running back to the car to get my phone to take some pictures around this adorable cafe and I also stayed a while to listen to music and just be. Cute little place... The vibe was totally chill & relaxing which is always a plus! Met a friend here before we attended an event in the area, and happy we made the choice to try this place out. The Green Dream juice was super yummy, I'm already craving more ;-) ordered the avocado toast which was super delicious as well. The only downfalls from my experience was our toast took 40 minutes to come out and I feel like they weren't that busy. I also feel like the prices were a touch too high but that won't hold me back from returning again. Oh... and there was no TP in the restroom (thank goodness there was a box of tissue in there)! I had a beet and carrot cold pressed juice that was delicious. My friend and I both had the Southwest salad. Gringo toast was below average and it took a long time to meet. Maybe they used vegan cheese? It was really orange, hard and flavorless. Not gooey melty--the way I would make it.
