Apple cider mimosa with cinnamon sugar rim and fresh strawberry.
    Akisha M.

A friend of mine has been visiting this place for years,, but because of its unassuming outdoor appeal I never stopped by. Well my friend and I did not feel like driving to Connecticut for brunch and we stopped by. There was about a 20 minute wait and there is not much of a waiting area. The tables turned over quickly and we finally had a table. Well it was worth the wait. The wait staff really know how to make this small restaurant work. Coffee and drink orders are taken promptly. When you're ready, you can order. The food come out in record time (or I could have been distracted by mY keno game and mimosa.) The apple cider mimosa was to die for!! Cinnamon sugar rim and very nice blend of cider and champagne. I ordered the hash omelet with a side of Banana Bread French Toast. I ate all of my food. I was very hungry so I didn't take pictures of my food but I snapped a shot of the mimosa. I can not wait to return.

Wasn't a fan of the sweet potato hash. It has black on the top and very mushy like baby food.

I tried the house special, sweet potato hash with ham, eggs and toast. The hash was black on top and didn't have a good consistency. I couldn't eat it. Very mushy and not something I'd eat. Our waitress noticed I didn't eat it, I expressed how I wasn't happy with it. She tolld me sorry you didn't like it, here's the bill, Merry Christmas.

Mom and pops joint done right. The food is absolutely amazing. The pancakes were to die for. Your first bite will have you hooked. The pancakes just melt in your mouth. After downing you pancakes you mush have a mimosa to go with it. All the mimosas are amazing. Apple cider was my personal favorite with the cinnamon on the rim. Then moving on to the bacon. It was extremely crispy and absolutely amazing. The wait staff is extremely fast and friendly. You won't have to wait very long to get your food. The only thing you might wait on is to get a seat. That's just due to the number of people who go there every morning.

This is a cute, no frills breakfast joint that has no scruples but a pretty good breakfast. The waiters are very good about coffee refills, and tea (for me) as well. The fiancé ordered the Copperline special, which is three pancakes, eggs, toast, home fries, and meat of choice...it was a ton of food that he downed pretty well! I'm always a fan of hash so I ordered the hash breakfast, and it was pretty damn good. Their homemade toast was to die for! There was a line so be cognizant of that!

Only been here twice due to not living near by. Is definitely a must try if you love good home cooking. Pretty extensive menu. Very nice atmosphere, fast service, and our server was outstanding.

The Copperline Eatery is a cute little breakfast/Brunch Convenience store mix. It's a very odd place! If you happen to walk through the front door you find yourself in a almost gas station feel convenience store walk a little farther back down a hallway you find yourself at the "dinning area" no one to really greet you or get you a table you kinda just stand there until a table opens and then you go sit. Very weird! Waitress was super nice and down to earth but food was average to below average. Nothing special at all! Tried the Apple pancakes but it was extremely dry! Felt like the food was frozen then just heated up in the microwave. The omelette wasn't bad but felt like something I could have made at home. Didn't leave there with a bad experience but wouldn't go back.

The eggs benedict with breakfast taters

Whenever I make the epic journey to the North to see my family, the only thing to do in this region is eat. And I wanted eggs benedict. Equipped with my Google Nexus, I raided the Yelp-verse for knowledge and discovered this cozy little establishment. With my brother and grandpa in tow, we traveled 7.5 miles. The fellowship of the Benedict had begun. The establishment was a wee one. Very small. Self seating. We had a good 15 minute wait for a table to be cleaned. Come with patience, they do their best, but it is a slower service type of joint. Don't come hangry. The wait staff are very nice and courteous. Customer service is a thing. They did the thing. While it took a minute to get a seat, the food came out quickly. We all ordered the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were done just right. They were situated on a good slab of Canadian bacon, that was mounted on top of muffins. The Hollandaise sauce was fantastic. No complaints whatsoever. My bro ordered a side of the pancakes. They were good, nothing amazeballs on that. They also had homemade hash on the menu. I don't see that in the great country of Texas, so I had to get a side of it. It was fantastic. It's like the North Eastern version of chorizo. Great place, $35 for 3 orders of eggs benedict, a side of pancakes and a side of hash. Good stuff, good price. No regrets.

After the big St. Patrick's Day Race, we stopped in after Yelp suggested this was both on our way home AND a better bet than the food trucks. We were surprised that parking was a breeze, with multiple entrances. The staff was quick, knew a lot about the different food options, and cocktail selection and beer selection was great. We chose a different cocktail from the list, and shared a bunch of appetizers. The sprouts were good, and the wings were tasty. I think the only thing that got a "nah" was the crab cake. I definitely have it on my list to go back for a meal, noting several dinner specials that met my creative palette.

Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated in the bar area, which features a long bar and high-top tables. They have a solid selection of beer and alcohol. We started with the chili, topped with cheese and served with chips for dipping--it was delicious. My wife ordered the turkey club, while I opted for the tomato bisque with a grilled cheese sandwich. She enjoyed her club, and I loved my grilled cheese; it was very cheesy and made with Texas toast. However, I found the bisque a bit too thick for my taste. The servers were friendly, and we'll definitely return. I learned that they have separate lunch and dinner menus--unfortunately, I didn't realize I was looking at the dinner menu when I saw the steak, which isn't available during lunch.

My steak was overcooked and the Brussels sprouts were hard and undercooked. At first, we told our waitress everything was okay, but after more discussion toward the end of the meal, we decided the expensive steak was truly overdone and mentioned it. Our waitress was incredibly apologetic and immediately offered to have a new steak made and to take it off the bill. The manager was also so helpful and amazing in making things right. Even though the meal itself wasn't up to their usual standard, the way the situation was handled proves exactly why we keep coming back. Truly impeccable service and still one of our favorite spots.

We opted for a more tapas style light dinner. With sesame crusted tuna, Cobb salad, fondue tower, and calamari 1/2&1/2. We appreciated the 1/2 and 1/2 option for the calamari (1/2 Rhode island, 1/2 regular) but when the plate came you couldn't tell the divide. Which was an issue for those that don't want spicy. The bar was very busy and the cocktail menu seems very good. So I can definitely see this place as your after work dinner with friends place to be. But for a calm casual dinner - maybe not. Overall it is a good place. But probably not for everyone - but doesn't need to be.

I mainly visited since it was nearby, but also because they offered a standout Ruben, keyword 'offered' as in they don't have it anymore. My colleague loves Reubens but he ended up having to order something else furing our visit. This ended up being a good thing because he was super happy with his choice afterward. I looked over the menu and there were other menu items also crossed off, but still plenty of options to choose from. Their burgers are handpressed but only 6 oz. That is a little small for me, especially when I'm hungry. After conversing with the gentleman behind the counter about my options, we both agreed I should go with the spicy fried chicken sandwich. I ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich which comes with homemade fries and their homemade green tea with ginger and mint. My colleague ordered the pork cutlet sandwich and said it was amazing due to the apple chunks on the sandwich. Both were actually daily specials listed on their board to the right of the menu. My sandwich was quite large and spicy with the fresh jalapenos and a spicy sauce. It reminded me of the large chicken sandwich at Longhorn Steakhouse, but this one was even larger and better. The fries are fresh cut which made this meal perfect. This restaurant is truly nothing special from the outside appearance and both my colleague and I even thought it looked closed when we were driving by. He also said he doubts they have any seating, but we were both wrong. Don't doubt yourself about this restaurant. It is a truly hidden gem with some uniquely prepared foods waiting inside. They had limited beverages. I wanted regular iced tea, but ended up with the homemade green tea with mint and ginger which was pretty good, but no free refills. Service was of course excellent. I interacted with the gentleman a couple more times as I knew I'd need a lot more napkins to tackle this food.
