Koi pond
Kathryn E.

The Continental's atmosphere truly stood out. The outdoor seating is beautiful, and the koi pond adds such a peaceful, unique touch. It feels special the moment you walk in. The staff was friendly and hard-working, which we appreciated. Service felt attentive without being overbearing. The food was good, but not particularly memorable. For us, the environment was the highlight more than the meal itself. That said, the location is great, right in the middle of a lively area with plenty of shops and things to explore before or after dinner. It's on the spendy side (you pay for the location!). They have an early bird dinner menu option. One thing to note: parking can be tricky. It's a busy spot in an awesome location, but there isn't a lot of parking available. Overall, we'd return for the ambiance and location alone - it's a great place to enjoy a beautiful Naples evening.

Absolutely the best upscale restaurant without being pretentious, fabulous food, stellar service, gorgeous ambiance, I'm gushing because this place is perfection. They have a value early bird menu for 55.00 salad, surf and turf and dessert . Perfect service by Adam.., They have figured out the secret sauce.. You can have elegant without high maintenance attitude.., Definitely worth the drive from Ft Myers for a perfect dining experience. . This place is beyond perfect..,And every employee works in tandem so you get a perfect cohesive experience. Yes this manager gets it done, and every employee looks happy to be there. Bravo, perfect first dining experience..

Stopped in around 4:30 just for a drink and to experience the ambiance that were heard so much about. It definitely lived up to the vibe! Bartenders were so nice and service was fantastic. We both started with a martini and it was delicious. Enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for dinner and ordered the happy hour special of a salad, Hangar steak and dessert. Everything was delicious from beginning to end (oh and to end the night with those cinnamon donuts - absolutely amazing!). So glad we stopped in!

The ambiance here is wonderful. Greeted by the Koi pond as soon as you enter, and we were offered fish food to feed them! The oysters were fresh as can be, and the steak options are divine. Too not neglect the sides, the potato gratin is 10/10.

We had a reservation at 7:30 last evening and were promptly seated on time for what turned out to be one of the best meals I've ever experienced. Our server, Ginna was cordial, well informed, and a testimony to the best! This has to be the finest dining experience offered in Naples by a margin. Crafted Cocktails served as they should be, fantastic appetizers and outrageously good Snake River fillets, au gratin potatoes and baby carrots followed. The 4 piece music ensemble was a treat, as was the coconut cake we had as a finale. We were suitably impressed by ALL the Continental delivered.

So delicious, from the drinks to the steaks, everything was incredible! The decor and ambience was great as well. I had the bone in filet mignon and my husband had the 40 day dry aged ribeye. Sides of the roasted carrots and mashed potatoes. Next level really. Yummy yum yum!

Tomato carpaccio salad

The only reservation we could get was at 5:00 pm, so we were lucky enough to find out about their early dining menu! Our meal started with a visit from the Dirty Martini Cart, a great little treat offering freezing cold martinis and olives served from a table side cart. We then ordered from the early dining prix fixe menu. Great value, $55 for a starter, main and dessert. I had a tomato carpaccio salad, a perfectly cooked 12 oz hanger steak with asparagus and au gratin potatoes and fresh donuts with maple bourbon caramel sauce. I also had an extra 4 oysters, very fresh with tasty sauce. Our server, Tyson, was very friendly and interactive, talking us through the menu and ensuring we had a great time. The restaurant is beautiful with indoor, outdoor and covered seating. Can't wait to go back!

Great location in Naples for a high end specialty dinner. Out with friends, we had a beautifully located table inside, yet felt outside due to all the open doorways. The outdoor patio seating area as well as the indoor restaurant are beautiful. We sat at 5:45, still time for the early specials (offered between 5:00-6:00). $50 for a three course meal, it was an amazing value and absolutely delicious. We tried the Caesar salad as well as the caprisi salad with beratta. Both were outstanding. Our main selection was the filet and lobster tail. Served with potatoes and asparagus. Cooked to perfection! We finished with fresh warm doughnuts with a dipping sauce. Other main course specials were a chicken dish and 2 seafood options. The main menu is full of great options, so no way you leave hungry. Very pleased with our dinners, the service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

The Continental is your quintessential steakhouse located in the picturesque downtown Naples. The decor, the neighborhood, the cars, the people all converging to create a posh yet approachable experience. The ambience was further amplified with a live jazz band and the perfect evening weather. The food and drink were TOP NOTCH. Almeidas had an Australian NY Strip which was phenomenal; Silva's had a hearty skirt steak.. seriously one was enough for two. Their steak tartar also a notable nibble. The donuts were an ABSOLUTE homer run with its chocolatey, salted caramely filling sauce. I seriously wanted to take a shot of it! Kudos kudos to the team for an amazing first impression!

From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Thanks to Angel and the kitchen for such an outstanding experience. Seventh South has earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Naples.

Amazing service and delicious food…read more My friends and I went to The Local before a movie at the Regal movie theater nearby. We were seated in a comfortable booth, and the overall ambiance was so lovely with high ceilings. We got there in time to enjoy a happy hour dinner menu. Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. The turkey was flavorful, the bread held up nicely, and the salad was crisp with a good coating of parmesan. Decent value for what you get. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. My smoked turkey sandwich hit the spot, but those fish tacos need work. Four stars for a solid overall experience, but maybe skip the tacos next time.

We left with what appears to be numerous sand flea bites covering our feet, legs, and arms. I personally have well over 100 bites, and the discomfort has continued to make the past several days of our vacation miserable. We were actively slapping and killing the fleas while sitting at the restaurant, and other guests around us were also commenting on them. I understand that I'm visiting from out of town and may not have known what to expect from dining directly on the sand. However, I have a serious concern with Turtle Club actively promoting the experience of "digging your feet in the sand" without clearly warning guests about the potential for sand fleas or explaining whether the area is regularly treated or maintained to prevent this issue. Is this something Turtle Club routinely experiences? Are the outdoor dining areas treated for insects? If this is a known issue, guests deserve to be made aware before choosing to dine outside. Unfortunately, as much as we enjoyed the food and sunset, the outdoor dining experience was simply not worth the consequences we've dealt with afterward. For future guests: bring bug spray and be prepared, or consider sitting inside. I wish we had known before choosing the outdoor experience. Turtle Club, I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider doing more to protect and properly inform your guests.

The amuse bouche was a duo of dips consisting of a white eggplant puree, and a hummus served with homemade chips. We all started with the crab cake which was crisp on the outside and filled with plump crab and just the right amount of seasoning. It was served with a dollop of sauce similar to a tartar but with a unique flavor that complemented the crab. For the second course, my 2 dining partners chose the swordfish. I chose the quail which was the envy of the table. It was so well prepared and had a good amount of moist meat inside the crispy skin. The small piece of foie gras on the side, which I usually don't eat, was actually divine. For the main I had the Wagyu beef short rib and the rest of the table had the duck leg which they were very happy with. The short rib was fall-off-the-bone tender. We all ended with the Ghanaian chocolate mousse. The coconut meringue gives the unique mousse a fun crunch and every bite was delish. After our dinner, chef Andy came out and chatted with us for a while which is always entertaining and interesting. I really don't think you can go wrong no matter what you order. I've never had a bad dish at Hyde N Chic, and there is no other restaurant in Naples that comes even close to the quality and creativity.
