Absolutely the best upscale restaurant without being pretentious, fabulous food, stellar service, gorgeous ambiance, I'm gushing because this place is perfection. They have a value early bird menu for 55.00 salad, surf and turf and dessert . Perfect service by Adam.., They have figured out the secret sauce.. You can have elegant without high maintenance attitude.., Definitely worth the drive from Ft Myers for a perfect dining experience. . This place is beyond perfect..,And every employee works in tandem so you get a perfect cohesive experience. Yes this manager gets it done, and every employee looks happy to be there. Bravo, perfect first dining experience..

Stopped in around 4:30 just for a drink and to experience the ambiance that were heard so much about. It definitely lived up to the vibe! Bartenders were so nice and service was fantastic. We both started with a martini and it was delicious. Enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for dinner and ordered the happy hour special of a salad, Hangar steak and dessert. Everything was delicious from beginning to end (oh and to end the night with those cinnamon donuts - absolutely amazing!). So glad we stopped in!

So delicious, from the drinks to the steaks, everything was incredible! The decor and ambience was great as well. I had the bone in filet mignon and my husband had the 40 day dry aged ribeye. Sides of the roasted carrots and mashed potatoes. Next level really. Yummy yum yum!

The only reservation we could get was at 5:00 pm, so we were lucky enough to find out about their early dining menu! Our meal started with a visit from the Dirty Martini Cart, a great little treat offering freezing cold martinis and olives served from a table side cart. We then ordered from the early dining prix fixe menu. Great value, $55 for a starter, main and dessert. I had a tomato carpaccio salad, a perfectly cooked 12 oz hanger steak with asparagus and au gratin potatoes and fresh donuts with maple bourbon caramel sauce. I also had an extra 4 oysters, very fresh with tasty sauce. Our server, Tyson, was very friendly and interactive, talking us through the menu and ensuring we had a great time. The restaurant is beautiful with indoor, outdoor and covered seating. Can't wait to go back!

The ambiance here is wonderful. Greeted by the Koi pond as soon as you enter, and we were offered fish food to feed them! The oysters were fresh as can be, and the steak options are divine. Too not neglect the sides, the potato gratin is 10/10.

We had a reservation at 7:30 last evening and were promptly seated on time for what turned out to be one of the best meals I've ever experienced. Our server, Ginna was cordial, well informed, and a testimony to the best! This has to be the finest dining experience offered in Naples by a margin. Crafted Cocktails served as they should be, fantastic appetizers and outrageously good Snake River fillets, au gratin potatoes and baby carrots followed. The 4 piece music ensemble was a treat, as was the coconut cake we had as a finale. We were suitably impressed by ALL the Continental delivered.

Great location in Naples for a high end specialty dinner. Out with friends, we had a beautifully located table inside, yet felt outside due to all the open doorways. The outdoor patio seating area as well as the indoor restaurant are beautiful. We sat at 5:45, still time for the early specials (offered between 5:00-6:00). $50 for a three course meal, it was an amazing value and absolutely delicious. We tried the Caesar salad as well as the caprisi salad with beratta. Both were outstanding. Our main selection was the filet and lobster tail. Served with potatoes and asparagus. Cooked to perfection! We finished with fresh warm doughnuts with a dipping sauce. Other main course specials were a chicken dish and 2 seafood options. The main menu is full of great options, so no way you leave hungry. Very pleased with our dinners, the service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

The Continental is your quintessential steakhouse located in the picturesque downtown Naples. The decor, the neighborhood, the cars, the people all converging to create a posh yet approachable experience. The ambience was further amplified with a live jazz band and the perfect evening weather. The food and drink were TOP NOTCH. Almeidas had an Australian NY Strip which was phenomenal; Silva's had a hearty skirt steak.. seriously one was enough for two. Their steak tartar also a notable nibble. The donuts were an ABSOLUTE homer run with its chocolatey, salted caramely filling sauce. I seriously wanted to take a shot of it! Kudos kudos to the team for an amazing first impression!

We all work together in real estate, me for John R Wood Christie's international. I had not been to The Continental for a while but to celebrate our friend Carol's birthday. We went there with Cake in tow. We had their lobster special, which was absolutely delicious. Actually every bite even the bread was fabulous. I'd forgotten how good The Continental was going there hopefully most Sundays. It is a fabulous restaurant in a town filled with restaurants, but only perhaps a dozen that are truly exceptional in cuisine. This is one of them.

Absolutely loved the ambiance! The colors and scenery were wonderful and they played live music within beautiful outdoor patio. Service was excellent and the food was great! We loved the potatoes a gratin!

Perfectly cooked steaks with just the right amount t of flavoring. Salads, entrees and deserts always perfect. Last night it was a mess. Me, my husband and 32 year old daughter went out to dinner for the Xmas season. We always go to Jimmy Ps and we go an average of once a month and our dinner bill is usually $375 to $450 every time. Last night we ordered 2 filet mignon and a Rib eye steaks with a potatoe side and grilled asparagus. My daughter ordered her steak medium and a side of mashed potatoes. Her steak was horrible. No salt and pepper and no seasoning. Her steak was cooked well done. The server came over and we showed him and he did provide my daughter with a fresh perfectly cooked steaks. I had the rib eye, Pittsburgh medium rare. I have this steak every time i come here and have eaten this probably 50 times.last night whatever seasoning was used has the char taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill and tasted absolutely rancid. We noticed that the asparagus side that was also grilled had the same rancid taste. I didn't send it back since they already cooked a replacement steak for my daughter. I tried to explain to server but I didn't demand a new steak. Paid $80 for a steak I couldn't eat. The service is always great and last night no exception. I think we will be taking a break from there for a bit

In this case, it was a sign of good times, as the noise was mainly table conversations in a full house. Our open-table reservation was ready, and we were seated at a table near the "wine wall." After pondering the possibilities, our evening went like this: *Cocktails: "Take two" for her: Strawberry-Infused Botanist Gin, Mango, Citrus Basil, Foam; a bourbon old-fashioned for him: Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon, Aperol, Simple Syrup, Angostura Aromatic Bitters (a cherry too, perhaps Luxardo). *We made the strategic decision to avoid soups/salads to make sure there was room for dessert, and went directly to entrees: Chilean Sea Bass (best seller, we hear) for her: Broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Puree, Truffle Vinaigrette; and the Halibut special with gnocchi for him. Both EXCELLENT! A glass of Sauvignon Blanc with each. *Dessert: Crème Brulée for her, a much anticipated Ten Layer Carrot Cake for him, and decaf coffee + cream for both. Was saving room for dessert worth it? Yes, absolutely. My compliments to Todd, perhaps the best server I remember during the past year. Why? He seemed to have no agenda except to please the customer. There was no pressure to order quickly, and nothing about our order fazed him. Gluten-free requests were handled flawlessly. No soup or salad? He did not even blink, as if he himself thought it was an excellent idea. Todd, thank you for being the perfect meal guide and steward.

PRIME MY FOOT !…read more Worst steak meal I've hand since having a steak at Dennys from breakfast... OK, this is gonna be a 3 part experience cause you deserve the facts and nothing but the facts JACK ! Having dined at Ocean Prime in Seaport District in Massachusetts I thought I'd be having an excellent experience yet that was not to be. So let's start our journey of the nights events at Ocean Scam! So we're having a stroll through beautiful Naples and see a familiar name for dining. We decided to check it out cause our experience was amazing up North.. THE HELP- A +++ Upon arrival we were greeted by a beautiful set of host ladies who escorted us to a full window seat. Another person who was very polite pours us some water and takes a beverage order. Then our super polite waiter comes over for questions & order. He was fantastic and his talents are wasted here cause he could be a great one. THE FOOD: Ok so now is the drama part of our evening. We ordered a rib eye ( MEDIUM ) and Filet ( MEDIUM ) well our steak arrive and both are CRISP with grey insides , YES OVER COOKED! My lady is now pissed so she points it out to waiter he is apologetic. He then reviews mine and says he will bring new steaks out... So as I grow older and famished a new set of steaks arrive and a second set of items accompanied it. THE FILET is now burnt on outside and purple not cooked in middle and my ribeye is the same. However no steak juices even flowed from hers. It was like a hockey puck from Florida Panthers was served... Mine had zero taste but has juices on the plate. The waiter came back and saw it an apologized profusely. He comped her steak but I'm thinking what the hell is going on in the kitchen. Ever hear of a meat thermometer guys??? No the funny thing was is the couple behind us was from Boston also and he was complaining about the same thing. I watched as he tried to stab his fork into the meat like the flag on Iwo Jima except he could even pierce the meat it was so rock solid... Good thing they purchased a few bottles of wine to forget the experience as well. But I did laugh at his steak misery... My fries , corn & house salad were excellent with no complaints. My desert of carrot cake was Decadent and best thing about my experience at Ocean Prime... THE AMBIANCE: OP had a great vibe from the moment you saw the outside till you stepped inside. First class decor you'd expect from a swanky place. Our window seat gave a great view of the courtyard for people watching and I'm gonna say the candles in the bathroom gave an Aromatic refreshing scent to a place that normally needs it after a steak dinner. I wish they sold those candles cause I'd defiantly grab a few for the home.. Well, that's my experience for OCEAN " NOT SO " PRIME ! I gave the steaks THE FINGER just in case my displeasure didn't come through...

Service was alway excellent and very attentive, food was very good but definitely not cheap. Because of the price, I do have certain expectations, and on this visit, it fell slightly short. We arrived at 6:30pm our reservation time, and were promptly taken to our table. The hostess first offered a table right at the door, I rejected, the restaurant was still fairly empty. Then we were led to another table right next to a big table of 15+ people. Before I said anything, she quickly suggested maybe a quieter table, thank you for that. We ended up with a table on the other corner, it was perfect. As usual, hubby ordered a martini, it came with a lot of ice chip, oops didn't past our first test. We ordered the seared Foie Gras and Kumato Tomato and Watermelon salad. The Foie Gras was done perfectly. The watermelon in the salad was cured, not my type of salad. For our entree I had the short rib, very tender but very dense and lean, hubby had the Delmonico steak with Foie Gras added. The steak has a little bit too much fat and not sure it was worth the cost. We enjoyed the two sides every much - Brussels sprout and sauté mushroom. I joked that perhaps next time I should just have Brussels sprouts and seared Foie gras as my dinner, and I would be very happy. We also ordered a chocolate soufflé which takes 30 min to make. Much to our surprise that the waiter had it split for us when it was brought out. Overall it was a wonderful night, with live piano music playing throughout the whole meal. But we also began to wonder, was it worth the cost? The steak had a little too much fat that it should; Martini has too much ice chip, the two glasses of wine were pricy and forced. Perhaps we will save it for very special occasion only, and next time we will try one of the other three restaurants on site.
