Do not eat here!! We went to the cafe at 8:15 pm and they were not serving. We then were able order takeout. Note they close at 9pm The Southwest chop salad with chicken for 2 $42.00 steep price The sad salad was basically iceberg lettuce, some corn and chopped tomatoes with Vinaigrette which overpowered the entire meal - the tortilla chips were stale the $5 extra for chicken was 4 small strips of bland chicken.. Who ever the chef is need to go back to school. Worst salad I have ever had, could not finish it. Again don't eat here! read more

They are our fav happy hour spot! Amazing food and amazing happy hour prices! The hot habanero sandwich is delicious, and best curly fries too! The nanchos were massive and yummy! My only wish is that they get better tasting cocktails! read more

Super food at a great price! Fast and easy to cope with even on a weekend. We will be back!

We visited for lunch on a drive to kelowna and we were not impressed it was not busy we sat for 30 minutes before any one spoke to us after being seated and it was 90 minutes before we got food. I certainly was not expecting lunch to take over 2.5 hrs. I ordered coffee and it took 30 minutes and they never came back to offer a refill. We finished nothing was cleared no one asked us if our meal was ok I finally stood up by the till to pay. And waited a very long time to do that. I've never not tipped but today was horrible so I did not. The service was beyond awful and the food portions were very small but food was quite good. I think they should have acknowledged how short staffed they were and given us a heads up on the wait time or offered a discount Longest I've waited for food in an empty restaurant ever - it was very busy when we arrived and every table was dirty or full except one. I have been there about a dozen times for breakfast. When they are not busy, it is good. They have a regular server who is very competent and the food is good. However, I have found out that when they are busy, things are very different. The extra severs are inexperienced and get orders mixed up. They are slow. They spill coffee. I had to ask three different servers for coffee. Then, when you finally do get your meal, they want you to leave right away to free up the table. I don't think I will return. read more

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and I go out regularly with family and friends. I look for character and atmosphere as well as good food, and friendly service. The Columbia Diner has it all! The restaurant is unassuming, it feels like it's hidden in plain sight along Columbia Street. It has fresh decor and an open half moon concept that leaves you with a clean and comforting feeling, leaving the rush behind. The view of Mount Paul is great. I've had two or three different servers and they've all been fun to chit chat with. The breakfast food was really tasty - I had classic eggs benedict and my partner had pancakes. He's impressed with their fluffy pancakes - the only suggestion he has is to provide Maple Syrup, but that probably gets prohibitively expensive from the business side of things. The eggs benedict were fantastic. For those of us who are not coffee aficionados but enjoy a good cup - this place has that covered too! Coffee is super important in the morning and the blend of coffee they serve is well chosen and made fresh! It rivals McDonald's, or it's better than (hard to tell) and certainly better than Tim Horton's. I'm not a fan of Starbucks so that doesn't even figure into my consideration. If you are allergic to GLUTEN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WILL GET SICK 100% My partner and I went here when it first opened. My partner got a burger with gf bun and the curly fries said it was safe. It was not my partner got severely sick. We thought we would give it a second chance but was a huge mistake once again. We even asked multiple times if it was gluten free. The Manager even delivered the food. My partner is now severly sick once again. Not to mention they changed their happy hour to only mon-fri which they are still advertising thaylt its 7 days a week. read more

Best burger in town! We went during happy hour and were very impressed with the 50%off entire menu (including drinks) that they offer between 2:30-5:00. Smash Caesar was amazing as well. Very friendly and quick service. I'll be back for sure. read more
