Amazing experience. The people were great and the food was delicious! It was relaxing and worth the wait.

One of the restaurants recommended by our host on the Rocky Mountaineer train. It was walking distance from our hotel. Did not really care for the sports bar ambience inside but the patio was fantastic. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Had one of the local beers which I really enjoyed. For our dinner my wife had the burnt ends tostadas and I had a señorita crunch sandwich with their "famous mac & cheese". The tostadas were pretty good, but hard to eat. Basically large tortilla chips with coleslaw and BBQ burnt ends. My sandwich was really a fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw and pickled jalapeños. The jalapeños had to come out as they were just too hot for me. The mac & cheese was OK but nothing tremendous. It was an eight dollar upgrade over fries, mostly because it was a huge serving. I probably wouldn't order my sandwich or mac & cheese again, but the beer and tostadas were pretty good. read more

We ate on the outdoor patio, which was nice and quiet. The server and staff were friendly. Our meals were tasty, but we found the prices quite high for what we ordered. read more

Sounds like this may be an unpopular opinion but I would say the Noble Pig was mid at best. We came in after a long day at a nearby hockey tournament so it was definitely a full house, but based on rave reviews we were expecting much more than what we received. The ambiance was chill and the booths were roomy and comfortable but sadly that was probably the highlight of the meal. The server was ok but not overly friendly or attentive by any means. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, a pulled pork "bowl" and a small pizza. Nothing too crazy or over the top so we figured it was pretty simple and would be relatively fast. To our surprise it took a solid 40 minutes. We figured that one of the dishes may have taken a bit longer so we stayed patient, but when the food was served it was lukewarm nearing cold. The food was nothing special but maybe could have gotten another star had it been served hot. Sadly disappointed to be quite honest, the best part of the actual meal itself was the side of French fries that accompanied the pulled pork sandwich. Sadly, the menu prices definitely did not match the quality of food or rave reviews. read more

We read that The Noble Pig was the best restaurant in Kamloops so it was our first stop in town. We arrived around dinner time and hungry! We were seated right away by a friendly host and our server who was super helpful throughout our visit. While we dined, the place got much busier and had a nice buzz to it. It had a distinct theme inside that aligns with its name and its selection of flagship brews. As I mentioned, we were hungry after a long drive so we obviously over ordered. We started with the Triple Threat Pull Apart Bread and the Crispy Pickles. Both were amazing! The bread was so soft and delicious and the pickles were savoury, but also spicy! Be warned! My partner ordered the Stuffed Yorkies because they weren't something we'd seen on a menu before. He loved them! The dish was three Yorkshire puddings stuffed full so it was also HUGE. I got the Flagship Mac and, honestly, for a place with multiple macs on the menu, it was remarkably unremarkable, unfortunately. Don't be discouraged, though! The quality of the rest of the food was so high that it made up for that tiny miss. If you're in Kamloops, check out The Noble Pig. They also have a great patio! read more

Wonderful service and super fresh and delicious food. Amazing pit stop on the way back to Seattle from Sun Peaks!! Far better than the food in the village and not far off the path home. The vibes and staff made for a very welcome ambiance and warm greeting as it dumped snow outside. Highly recommend the pulled pork Mac that the kids shared. Pot pie was legit too! read more

This is a great family-friendly pun with all the goodies you'd expect to find plus excellent pizza, poutine (naturally), mac'n'cheese, salads and more. My niece (vegetarian), son (12 yrs) and I stopped in our way to Revelstoke on a Monday night about 7pm and had no trouble getting a booth. My son and I have been here before and always have a great experience - good food, great staff and comfortable atmosphere. If you're looking for a reliably good spot for a pint and a meal, I'd recommend popping in! read more

Great appetizers and really nice servers. The patio in the summer and spring is amazing!

Had the tuna bowl. The tuna was hard and the rice had no taste. We had a happy hour fried pickles that were very tasty but charged regular price. Shouldn't Joey understand when you order during happy hour that's the price you should be charged. Just disappointed with the service read more

Parking.... What a nightmare. As a disabled person, having to hope for a parking space several blocks away makes this establishment a no go most of the time. If I'm in the area and looking for a meal, I'll give them a quick roll past, because the food and atmosphere are pretty good, but if there isn't a space in front of the building, I continue on to the Shark Club or Moxies. Always convenient parking there. read more

Very expensive. Not good value. Burger bun was too firm. Mustard as a standard on the burger? And the coleslaw was literally tasteless. Big thumbs down here for a burger and coleslaw for $30. No drink or sides. read more

From scratch kitchen- everything was delicious and we enjoyed sitting outside. Our server was very friendly.

Food and service were great. I added bacon to my house salad and it was super tasty. I also had fries! So good.

High points for the enthusiastic bar staff since I sat at the bar for my dinner. The bartender Johnston was on top of everything: gave us a menu when we sat down, served us ASAP, and checked in to ensure we were ok without pestering. Bridget was also great. She poured full shots and took care to top off a beer pour when the pour was foamy. It was busy when I was there, but she always did that to ensure a full pour. I like the way they pour their drinks: alcohol and mixer first, then cubes. They have a good selection of craft beers. The PFC (pickled fried chicken) was quite good as it was made with dark vs white meat. read more

I went there tonight and can't say how disappointed myself, wife and daughter were. Ordered drinks first and food at the same time, that was the last time we saw our server until our food arrived, still no drinks. We continued to eat for about half an hour, when the server finally came back I told her to forget about the drinks, she felt bad but said she ordered it on the computer that hasn't been sending the order to the bar??? WHAT! who does that, anyway the food we ordered was average at best, but we know now where not to go out for dinner to spend our hard earned money, decent table read more

Popped in here for a late dinner. The staff was very friendly. I had a burger, which was good, and tried a little bit of a few dishes others in my party got. We stopped by here on our way to Mt Robson. This was more of a drive through town for us on our road trip and we were looking to grab lunch somewhere and ended up here. We ordered: - Texan Poutine to share - Truffle Mushroom mac and cheese - Chicken Club with soup - salad - steak pastry app thing This was a time where I liked and wanted everyone else's dish but mine. I ordered the chicken club thinking it be like a normal club sandwich, but was left disappointed. The sandwich just wasn't good. The chicken was cooked just right, but nothing in the sandwich really went together, slightly flavorless, not sure what it was lacking, but it was lacking something. But moving on to the better dishes! The pulled pork on the Texan was delicious, made me wish I had ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese. The french fries were cooked perfectly. Cody got the mushroom mac and it was delicious as well, but he too wish he had ordered the pulled pork mac instead of the mushroom one. The pulled pork was just that good! Our friends seemed to enjoy their dishes as well, next time I am in town, I will be getting the pulled pork mac! read more

This is my favorite eatery to visit while I'm here. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is amazing~ especially if you're a farm to table person. Who isn't? Bonus is that the craft beer is amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone who had an affinity for it. Usually I have the mac and cheese and the caesar salad. The soups are really good too! Today I decided to try the lamb burger. It was so good that I inhaled it. I'd definitely recommend the truffle and mushroom mac and cheese as well as the kale caesar salad. The Rainer bacon is amazing! I will keep coming back to try something new each time! read more

Stopped in while on the Rocky Mountaineer. Food was excellent ... make sure to try their Truffle Fries.

The Butter Chicken is surprisingly good! The kale caesar salad with the burger is flavorful with the addition of bacon and cheese. The Herbivore pizza has a rich truffle flavor which we enjoyed a lot. The only minus would be that the fish in the fish and chips was a bit oily and wasn't as good as our friend expected. Everything else was perfectly cooked! Definitely recommending the house-brewed beers! They have a great selection! read more

Our experience was similar to Tara E's. On paper the menu sounds great. In execution, it leaves a lot to be desired. Inviting patio but no misters on a hot and humid summer evening. Our train arrived -- the Rocky Mountaineer, and the staff seemed to know we were train passengers. We were tired and looking for something refreshing. Instead we left frustrated and our stomachs weren't happy. The restaurant had a lot of young lady servers milling about but they still seemed understaffed. It took forever to put in our order and even longer to get our food as we sat on the hot patio (sans misters or fans). Here's the food and drink rundown: --PRETZELS: decent but unsalted. Dipping sauce was gross, a sweet mayo and mustard combo that seemed more appropriate for a salad. I thought we'd be getting some stone ground vinegar-y mustard with these (which is what I was craving) but the sweet salad-type sauce near made me nearly gag. --CAPRESE SANDWICH: for our vegetarian at the table, this had almost no cheese on it. Just some sliced tomatoes and pest mostly. The bread was tasteless and again, no salt in it so it was bland. He said it was terrible and I tasted it and I agree. --FREE BIRD, FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH: I've never had a dark meat fried chicken sandwich, but that's what I got. There was so little sauce it was dry, greasy and again, not much salt (a trend obviously) so it really needed *something* else other than just fried chicken and they were skimpy on the promised sauce described on the menu. I wanted more sauce, something to make it palatable, but our server never came by and my sandwich was getting cold while I waited, so I got up and asked for some inside - hoping they'd just give me some, but I guess nothing was handy. I ended up waiting a lot longer and finally someone brought some out. I later saw they charged me extra for the small side of sauce: $2.25. This really irked me because it was their error not putting enough on the sandwich to begin with. There also wasn't enough cole slaw on the sandwich. The potato bun was good, but once more, not a lot of salt. THE BEER: We got the pilsner and didn't like it. We've had a lot of microbrew and a lot of beer all over the world (Germany and Denmark most recently) and this tasted like most bottled pilsners you'll drink (Coors or Bud). We were disappointed. Overall, we paid $100 for the above and were underwhelmed. On the surface, looks like a good place but we're sorry we chose to eat here. It wasn't worth it. The last straw was being nickel and dimed for the tiny vial of sauce they gave me when they failed to put adequate amount on my (dark meat!) chicken sandwich. *I'm not sure what their anti-salt thing is, but it's definitely affected the food. I'm not even a salt fanatic and I don't salt my food, but it was really obviously lacking in so many of the dishes that I think it must be a conscious choice on their part. read more

I wish I had done a little bit more Yelp research before I suggested this place for dinner to my family. After our experience it seems that it's very hit and miss. We stopped in Kamloops on our way in to Banff and were looking for a good place to have dinner and drinks. We were seated immediately, and our server came to take our drink order fairly quickly. Once we received our drinks we expected our food order would be taken at that time, but we waited at least 15 minutes before someone came back to take our order. We all ordered appies to share, the pretzels, cheesy pepperoni bread, and deep fried pickles. The pretzels tasted like they were previously frozen, and then baked, and then microwaved quickly when a customer ordered them. Super disappointing... The cheesy pepperoni bread was delish! A pepperoni stick stuffed in to cheesy garlic bread, YUM! The deep fried pickles were fried to perfection, not too much batter and super crispy. Even though most of the food was good, I still don't think I would return. read more

High energy casual restaurant and brewery in the center part of town. The friendly young staff are helpful with both food and drink suggestions plus a few laughs. I dined alone and sat at the bar to have a little interaction with the staff and watch the TVs. The quality of the image on the different channels was poor so might not a great spot to watch a big game. A large selection of liquors and beers to meet any taste along with their in house brews including a seasonal rotation. The big bad wolf IPA was brisk, flavorful and medium hops. Poured cold in a large pint glass, it tasted great after a long day. The menu has variety but not endless pages but the selection was still difficult with burgers, mac'n'cheese, pork chops and appetizers. Going with the bison grilled cheese I was honestly blow away with the presentation and flavor. This was not a kids menu grilled cheese! Being a visitor to Canada I had to try to their poutine and added bacon on top as a suggestion by the waitress. This can honestly be shared amongst 2-3 people, so many fries. But, the bacon is a super suggestion. Crispy fries, lots of cheese curds and the gravy was on the lighter side but didn't soggy up the fries. Only spot I ate in Kamloops on an overnight trip so can't compare to other spots but I would come back here again. read more
