    Salted Caramel Mocha sooo good

This is my new local coffee shop. The people are so sweet and the service is always fast!

Went there the first time today. Got a coffee, an almondmilk latte and a muffin. Beautiful little cafe. Very cozy ambiance. Indoor and outdoor seating. No restrooms I could see but they might have them. There is a small smoking table/section outside.

I already come to this area, but this was my first time here at this cafe shop. The outside is very nice, and coming inside feels very welcoming and cozy. It is somewhat of a small space but I'm sure you can grab a drink with a friend or two and chat it up. I didn't have the chance to stay as I was on my way to work, but take out is an option. I didn't order any beverages as I had my own from home; however I did order the Bagel BTC which is number 5 on the food menu. The man helping me, allowed me to choose which bagel I would like to have with the order. I chose the jalapeño cheddar bagel. BTC stands for Bacon, Tomato, Cream Cheese. And let me tell you... That really hit the spot. My tastebuds enjoyed every single bite! The man who had helped me was kind and very attentive. I didn't catch his name and I'm not sure if he manages the place, but for sure he keeps this establishment clean and neat, and is friendly. I'll certainly come back for a drink next time. Overall, my time here, even though very briefly, was a good one.

    Pistachio latte and sunrise special

Delicious! Nothing like a cute coffee shop with real mugs and tasty treats! I had the sunrise special on a croissant with their Pistachio Latte. I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area! Thank you coffee grinder!

First time here and loved everything about it…read more First of all, General Manager Jessica is suuuper nice and friendly. She greeted us with great energy, making small talks. Told us everything is made in-house, even the sauces! That's really good to know and makes me feel better about the food. She even gave me a free delicious cookie for being a first timer! And she comes around from time to time to check on us to make sure we're enjoying our food. Really nice to receive this kind of attention from a fast-casual restaurant. The Santa Maria BBQ Salad looked good but I asked her if they could substitute the chicken with the Chimichurri steak and she said "sure!" And surprisingly they did not charge extra! I love restaurants that are flexible like this. My salad bowl was SO good and filling. Lots of good stuff in it: chopped salad mix, coleslaw mix, Applewood-smoked bacon, crumbled goat cheese, corn & black bean salsa, grape tomatoes. Served with chipotle ranch dressing and blackberry BBQ sauce on the side, and a fresh baked focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cold meat. I was under the impression that the meat was going to be hot. My BF got the Southwestern Sandwich. It was delicious. All the Southwestern flavors were there but not overwhelming. The sandwich was hot and juicy. For a restaurant that makes everything from scratch, their prices are very affordable. Both our meals were only $27 total. Friendly service, great food and good prices - what not to love?

My son called Culinary Dropout and spoke with Olivia, the hostess, to see if the kitchen was still serving. Olivia responded with genuine warmth and kindness, assuring us that the kitchen was still open and that they would be happy to welcome us. From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. A sincere thank you to Layla, Olivia, Emanuel, Dave, and the entire Culinary Dropout team for creating such a first-class dining experience. We look forward to returning soon and will gladly recommend your restaurant to family and friends.

The tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled beets and cabbage I chose as toppings were all fresh and added brightness to the meal. Pita Wrap- This is a hefty and filling wrap! Za'atar Fries- I could snack on these all day. The fries were perfectly crispy and served hot and fresh. We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!
