4 outlet plugs within 6 feet of this corner alone

I came in to get some work done and this place is great for that. I had their latte + breakfast burrito w/ sausage and it was ok but what really stood out was their atmosphere. Plenty of workstations ranging from standard tables, high-top tables, and even a couch. Outlets are scattered all throughout. For those looking to come in and snag a great spot, come in when it's slow. Below you will find the different flows of traffic I've noticed on a Friday: 8-9:30 slow 9:30-11:45 busy 11:45 - 1 slow

Came here for a strawberry matcha since I work nearby and I was very happy with the drink! The service was very fast, I was in and out within 5 minutes. It tasted pretty good, I especially enjoy that they use an actual strawberry purer and not a syrup. There's plenty of seating as well.

First time on a referral that coffee is good? Yeah it is Guatemalan beans organic. Service was good prompt at a slow time in afternoon. Ambiance is cool dark woods half coffee house other half wine bar.

I love the Lost Bean! Been coming here for years and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. It's a great spot to study or catch up with friends. They also have the Lost Vine which turns into a wine bar after 6 pm on some evenings. There's lots of seating indoors and they also have a couple outdoor tables. Parking is not too challenging as they are in a lot that is crowded but not impossible. The sausage breakfast burrito is my favorite, it's a great pick to split or eat over a couple hours while studying. Their seasonal drinks are good too, this Eggnog latte was the right balance of eggnog to coffee.

Love this little local shop! Been coming here for a few years now and the staff is friendly as can be. Though, looks like they have been hiring a few new folks lately. I like trying all their seasonal flavor coffees or snacks. Still a huge fan of this place and would totally recommend. :)

banana matcha latte and cold brew

The friendliest service & yummy lattes! I tried their banana matcha latte (with almond milk) at the baristas suggestion and it was so delicious, the cream top isn't too heavy and the latte itself wasn't too sweet and had a good matcha taste. My boyfriend always gets a nitro cold brew from them and says it's 10/10. It's located inside the mess hall market at the flight, there's a park right out back with a dog park so we took our drinks for a lil walk after - such a perfect spot for a breakfast/coffee date. Will definitely be back to try their pistachio chocolate matcha soon

I've been coming to this Lost Bean for a good 7+ years now but finally posting a review loll. Their eye opener (espresso shots added to drip coffee) is the drink that got me hooked. This time, I tried their blueberry matcha and it was delicious and refreshing! There were real blueberries on top which was a nice touch. My friend got the banana matcha and she really liked her drink as well. I'm looking forward to more matcha drinks on their menu!

    Strawberry Matcha with almond milk

I came in today with a friend and had a really nice experience. Per usual, I asked several questions to the barista to know the ins and outs of the drinks. She was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. In addition to a wide variety of drinks, they also offer snacks and meals, although the vegan options are extremely limited, with not a single pastry being plant based. I was eyeing the Chia pudding with berries and the cups of fruit but didn't indulge this time. I hope they'll add more vegan options in the future! We both settled on the house made strawberry Matcha (I ordered mine with less strawberry so it would be less sweet), which includes a strawberry purée with sugar, milk of choice (chose unsweetened almond milk), and ceremonial grade Matcha. The drinks were delicious, although I would have preferred it even less sweet! I also really like that they use crushed ice in the drink. The downside is that the Lost Bean charges $1 for nondairy milk, which is steep, especially considering my typical drink is a cappuccino or flat white which uses minimal amount of milk. It ends up making the customized drinks quite expensive for a caffeinated beverage. All in all, it's a really nice shop with plenty of space to come with friends or to enjoy coffee and snacks while working.

My first visit to this location was pleasant, their breakfast burrito with sausage was good although pricy. My husband is a mocha lover and was satisfied with the Monkey Mocha. I highly recommend the blackberry matcha, the flavor felt very on point. The inside decor is really nice and good for catching up with friends.

I'm always greeted here and the employees always have a wonderful attitude and with a smile, ready to take orders. I've never had issues here & the atmosphere, food and strangers are a great experience. Just all getting along and cheerful conversations. It's so welcoming. You are able to bring your laptop for schoolwork or work in general. It's so comfortable. I'm glad this place is within Orange County. They have great selection of drinks and food items and are health conscious for those that are allergic or sensitive to certain ingredients. Always fresh too.

    Paz latte

Service was so great here! Lots of seating, especially in the morning when the space isn't shared. Not my absolute favorite coffee in Orange County but a solid latte nonetheless. This is the Paz latte. Note: Parking is a bit specific here with certain rows being "30 mins" or "1 hour before 6pm." Unsure how or if these are actually monitored but wanted to mention.

The Lost Bean's philosophy is just to get lost in this modern world and take a minute for yourself and let your sense of obligations go. Get inspired and be free. That's how I always feel when I sit down for a wonderful cup of coffee and that's how I feel at this shop. They did a very good job living up to the world they created through their doors. I've driven past this center countless times and never noticed the cute little buildings that look like I'm in the Swiss Alps. Hidden in this center is the Lost Bean, which is quite a modern looking little coffee shop that serves organic coffees and teas. They also have a traditional pastry case and a quiche case along with a breakfast and lunch menu. There's take away snacks available too. This is such a great find. The coffee is on the lighter side and the breakfast burrito I ordered was quickly prepared. The indoor space was very comfortable and people were actually talking to each other. They are also attached to a wine bar with offers additional seating. Outdoor seating is also available. Great service. The girls in the front were so helpful! Wonderful experience and I'll come back and try their homemade syrups also. Please come and create your own experience.

Not much of an ambience since you just order and wait for your drinks. My wife and I ordered the pumpkin pie matcha and salted Saigon. The drinks came out super quick! BELIEVE THE HYPE. Both of these drinks were AMAZING. The pumpkin puree was real and tasted like actual pumpkin, unlike the other coffee spots that sell fake pumpkin sauce. The salted saigon is probably the best Vietnamese coffee I've ever had. No exaggeration.

I went on a Tuesday morning and luckily only had to wait about 10 minutes. We got the mango matcha and blueberry matcha. Both were good, but I didn't adjust the sweetness and felt like the fruit flavors overpowered the matcha. The flavors themselves were really good though, especially since they use house-made syrups. I'd probably go for the plain matcha next time to actually get a better sense of the matcha itself, or ask them to tone down the sweetness/flavor. One thing I did appreciate is that the staff were really nice and offered to make adjustments if I wasn't happy with the drink. The parking lot is pretty small and gets crowded, so it can be a little hectic. Overall, not a bad matcha at all, but I'm not sure it completely lived up to the hype for me.

Rumi was wonderful with the kids, the snacks were cute (albeit pretty limited for the price--a small tea sandwich, a small cupcake, some cinnamon goldfish), they had a little dance session, and then did photos. Overall a cute experience for the kids. That said, I got a lavender latte and it was difficult to finish. The foam was like a salted caramel, which clashed with the lavender's liquid portion of the drink. There were a lot of lavender petals on top, which looked nice, but were bitter to taste. The latte portion actually tasted ok after I grabbed a straw so that I could drink it without the foam, but the foam and toppings just really threw the drink off. For $7, I expect harmonious flavors as well as an aesthetic look. I'd definitely bring my kid back for another Tots event, but I'd not get the lavender latte again.

Martin Diedrich is the original founder of Diedrich Coffee, which was sold to Starbucks in 2006, and opening the Tustin location marked a return to the exact site of his very first full-scale Diedrich Coffee coffeehouse. So when you come to Kean, you are coming to a special place that is tied to the history of coffee in The O.C. Needless to say the coffee is roasted in-house and is excellent. I always buy an oatmilk latte here, and the coffee taste is deep and aromatic. Definitely one of the best in Orange County for the pure quality of its coffee. For Orange County, the location has a nice community vibe. Eclectic mix of tables, but there aren't always enough of them, so it always seems packed. Staff are always extremely nice. Appreciating the history, great coffee, and community feel is one thing, but you should know in advance that they do not offer wifi here. That is my only complaint and the only reason this gets a 5 and not a 4 star. I suppose if they want to maintain a certain vibe they don't want people working there, but I would be happy even with a one-hour time limit on wifi usage.
