Slow slow drive thru.. should have gotten gas station coffee... good coffee, but in a rush are 8, pass

Wish there was another location near me... most of the staff can't seem to communicate even simplest orders correctly. I've waited the drive thru for literally no joke 20 before with only 2 cars ahead of me before I even reached the window (honestly I've waited 10 just being me in line so hey!) never can seem to get orders correct. I've told them twice already today that I'm Having a coffee for here and will be outside. I have my laptop and accessories out so don't want to just leave them. I walk in 25 min later and she gives me a to go Cup asking where I went. Seriously?! I told Her well for starters, it's for HERE and secondly, I'm outside. She explained she would remake and yet here I am again 20 min later no coffee. read more

I used the drive thru on a Saturday before a Saturday Citadel shopping trip. There was no line, which was great. The employee at the drive thru window was very friendly and was happy to make suggestions, and I deviated from my regular order and tried their cold brew. The cold brew was a good change, it was exactly what the employee described, but I think I'll go back to my usual order of Vanilla Tea Latte. read more

The coffee is good but the morning service is horrible. You need to change your hours if you're always opening late! It's disappointing.

Iced coffee with oat milk. Not sure how you screw this up, but it tastes disgusting. We will never return to The Coffee Bean.

I usually go here every day that I work when I'm going in between the office and the retail store. After this I will definitely not go back and I'd rather pay $4 for a cup of freshly brewed verve coffee. I went through the drive through because it's most convenient for me. I ordered a iced latte with coconut and almond milk because I'm lactose intolerant. Got to the register and she asked me if I had a chocolate with whip cream. NO Meanwhile my coffee was standing there next to that damn chocolate drink she was taking forever and another employee asked is this the almond latte customer and she said yes. Again she disappears in the back. Comes in with anew I don't even know what shit drink I got but it was basically coffee with ice and water. Or to be correct, water with ice and coffee. Possibly some kind of milk hence the slight discoloration so I didn't dare to drink more if it was regular milk. She said it was free today. Of course, I didn't even get my order THAT WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE. Replacing an order with something else is NOT okay even if it was for free. Note that I had waited 15-20 minutes already so to not even get my drink was just the worst kind of customer service I have ever seen. And I work in the good industry myself read more

Yikes! I've been to this coffee bean 3x in the last month and EVERY TIME they have messed up my order at the drive thru. This last time I waited 15 min in the drive thru and then another 10 minutes to have them remake my drink twice. And they have me pull over to clear up the drive-thru because they took so long to make my drink. I get it if you mess up once because I have worked retail, after the third forth time and not having great customer service to amend the situation I don't understand. While I didn't purchase any drinks at this location, I do have to give them props for a spacious place for a 2 hour informal board meeting, with enough tables together to seat 8 people and working outlets to boot. Other highlights: 1) drive-thru for those who want a quick stop for coffee; 2) decent amount of parking spaces in lot; 3) fantastic, working A/C system on a 100 degree day; and 4) right by Costco for shopping and $1.50 hot dogs! read more

im vivid ..... i found plastic in my drink what is this!?! there was tiny pieces of plastic that i almost swallowed..... i decided to look inside of my drink i found a plastic cap of idk what!! luckily i didn't swallow any but could of choked!! all staff has to be extra cautious this is dangerous!!! read more

I used to love going to this coffee bean but lately problems have started happening. Ayleen the Bastia was on speaker for drive through and was very very rude. She wouldn't let me finish any part of my order without cutting me off. When I got to the window she asked if she can take my card to the front to charge me. I was okay with this because I know they've been having issues with their drive through register. Ayleen didn't even let me finish my thought, she slammed the window and took my card over to the ovens and then decided to walk around with my card for over two minutes before going back to the window with my card then charging me. I asked her a couple questions about if my coffee was decaf and every question she completely ignored me even for a cup holder I had to ask a different barista if I could get a cup holder. She wouldn't even offer me a receipt after I asked. I later came in to request my receipt and the manager Isabel was very polite and apologized for her rude behavior. Didn't know this place was here, so I take time to download the app so I can join their rewards club, the app wouldn't let me load money so I asked cashier to help me, cashier was very friendly and told me that this particular location doesn't offer any rewards due to the fact this location is new. (It's been open for 6 months!) soooo... I guess I'll continue to stay a loyal Starbucks customer, I do have to admit though that they are friendly and the tea is good. read more

Ugh, I love this place. I discovered it last year when I was in California and so glad I got to go again. I wish we had one in WA! Only reason I deducted one star is because our barista was stupid. Sorry. No other way to say it but to just say it. We had to repeat our order like 5 times, you could hear her giggling when we were talking, and she was just annoying. Do your job. When we got to the window, she gave me my drink and it was covered in coffee because apparently she overfills drinks too, and can't wipe the cup off for me. First time at Coffee Bean and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by this location. Not only is it Super spacious but the whole atmosphere and environment is very welcoming and bright. The lively, but still very chill music they play is also just right so it works well as background noise when studying or just reading a book. I would say it's a nice change from Starbucks where it's usually more dim and crowded. Tables are spotless and the chairs look new and comfy. Since it's also located inside the plaza w/ costco there's plenty of parking. :) The coffee itself...is alright. It's not bad but it's differently different from say Starbucks or Peets. I go to coffee places pretty often so I guess I'm a bit more critical. While you can Definately tastes the coffee in the drink, the syrups/creamer they use make the drink more like a sugary drink rather legit coffee if that makes any sense. It actually takes away from the coffee Itself. Costs $0.50 more for them to add milk and creamer/sweetener which makes it rather expensive at $2.99 whereas at Starbucks you get the whole iced coffee w/ everything for $2.25. But their regular is bigger than Starbucks' tall so I suppose it's the same. The baristas are super nice here :) patient too since I kept changing my mind and asking questions. Accidentally being that annoying customer and all. Speedy service and nice ambience. Great study spot if I'm ever in the area I'd come again. read more

Hot chocolate was mobile ordered. When I got there it was wrong. When the remade my drink it was barely warm. At this location there is either a long wait or wrong order. I ordered a regular iced vanilla latte and they gave me a regular iced latte. I'm typically not the type to ask for my drink to be corrected/changed but I was stressed that day and wanted something sweet to de-stress. They apologized for the mistake and made me the drink I ordered and even upgraded the size because I had to wait. I thought that was super nice of them and they definitely earned 4 stars in my heart. If I'm ever back in that area, I would definitely come back! This location is also very spacious and not crowded with people. Plenty of seats and outlets. Good for a few hours of studying. read more

Friendly service and drinks are ready in a timely manner since there never seems to be more than one person ahead of me. Last time I went in I told them an issue I had with a bland drink at another location, they gave me a suggestion on how they could fix that and my drink was PERFECT. Definitely appreciated the tip, now it won't matter which coffee bean I am at or who makes my drink since they told me how to order it from now on to ensure a flavorful drink every time. read more

This coffee Bean is always short of staff and never opens on time and have long lines in the drive through. Starbucks has much better service and always has staff available and yes they are busy but has enough staff working . The manager should be on site to open at 7am and not have staff ready to work. Or change management who can do the job right. read more

The Vietnamese iced coffee is amazing!!! I've had Vietnamese coffee in Hong Kong and it changed my life so when I saw The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf had it I had try it. Went here twice and ordered a bagel with my drink and both times they forgot about my bagel. Both times I had to approach the workers to ask if my bagel was ready only to find out that they didn't even toast it or get it ready. This happened twice I was here isn't a coincidence only shows that they cant seem to get orders right or maybe they don't care about food orders and expect you to say something when they forget. I was in Commerce for an all afternoon/evening event at the casino and needed a coffee break in-between. I'm glad I found this Coffee Bean nearby. Of course the drinks and service were great, but this location gets 5 stars because of WORKING outlets, which in my opinion is a necessity at every coffee shop. The restrooms at this store needs improvement. As for I was disappointed that the men's restroom is a single use restroom and that the ladies one does not lock and has stalls inside. I go here every morning and I can't even begin to describe how well managed and kind these workers are. As someone who has worked in coffee before I firsthand understand how hard it gets to deal with rushes and long waits, but these guys are simply the best. Honestly I love coffee bean and I come here regularly but this is unacceptable. This is the third time that the restrooms have been a mess. It's unbearable to be inside and take care of business. This is a chained store and I would expect them to be up standards like all the other coffee beans I have been to.
