I recently watched a YouTube video by All Recipes that went behind the scenes at a Cheesecake Factory. I learned how some of the most popular dishes were made (without disclosing too many of their secrets, of course) and I immediately texted one of my friends and said we had to go the next time we did a girls night! So we did, and I ordered the Thai lettuce wraps with chicken, and the avocado egg rolls. I had a whole new appreciation for the dishes after learning how many ingredients and steps go into their prep. I loved these pics, they were fantastic! My friend also enjoyed her pepperoni flatbread with hot honey. We got here around 6:20 on a Thursday and it was busy but we didn't have to wait. By the time we left a few hours later it was even more busy! So this spot is very popular- I'd expect a wait on a weekend. Delicious and I'll definitely be back! read more

I thought I'd dine at The Cheesecake Factory this evening, since my fiancé and I were in town setting up for the Music on Main live music event at The Streets at Southpoint Mall on Renaissance Parkway. I ordered a Georgia Peach drink, which was very good, but it was freezing inside the restaurant so it took me a while to drink it! For dinner, I ordered the viral Cajun salmon, and I got the viral Louisiana chicken pasta for him. To warm up after our meals, I ordered a Caramel Royal Macchiato and picked up two cheesecakes to go--Strawberry and Tuxedo. To top off a great dinner, we had the absolute best waitress in the entire restaurant, D'Asia!! She was so sweet, pleasant, and incredibly attentive. Seated right away at 11 am. Waited to get service we ordered right when we got our drinks. (Coke was $4.45 per glass) We didn't get our food until 11:50 am. Extremely slow. I had the avocado and beet salad- it was definitely not meal size- the cut up oranges had seeds! I keep wanting to give this place more and more chances. How they're so busy with a sanitation score of 92 is pretty bizarre. We came here to celebrate my birthday and all I could think of was how bad are they to get a 92. This isn't your local neighborhood Chinese restaurant and they can at least vouch for good food. Anyways, the wait wasn't bad for a Saturday with reservations. Overall, service was not great. We waited a lot between our things. The silverware was dirty and please for the love of God DO NOT OPEN THE SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS ON THE TABLE... I can see why they have a sanitation score of 92. The food was mediocre, I asked for Cajun salmon and got a dry unflavored piece of salmon (hence the need for some flavoring - which blessing in disguise since the salt would not come out.) Fettuccine Alfredo was okay. The fish dish that is $30 grande whatever was terrible. Cheesecake was okay, they added powdered sugar to mine which was weird. Just overall huge disappointment. The wait for a table was about 45 minutes when I arrived luckily there was open seating at the bar. I was able to sit down right away. Bartender provided me with the menu. He gave us the right amount of time to look at the menu and answered any questions that I had. I was stuck with 5 different dishes( due to the menu having so many options). I ordered the pineapple chicken with shrimp. The taste the sauce and everything about it was amazing. I wasn't a fan of the carne asada. The steak was firm when I asked for medium well. The decor at the location is nice and a very well sized cheesecake factory. The tv screens at the bar had different games showing . I would recommend this cheesecake factory. Arrived shortly after opening, so we didn't need to wait for a table. However, service was a bit slow considering there were plenty of empty seats. The waitress was nice and the food was fine. What I recommend: The Louisiana chicken pasta, the passion fruit elderflower spritz, and the egg roll sampler If the Cheesecake Factory has no fans, then it means I'm dead. This place focuses on one thing only: deliciousness. Not health, not portion control, just pure flavor. The menu is basically a thousand pages long and one entree could feed three regular-size people, but that is exactly why it's amazing. Whether you want Cajun pasta, a giant salad, a burger, or something completely random, they have it and it always hits. The Louisiana chicken pasta is my go-to, the passion fruit elderflower spritz is fantastic, and the egg roll sampler is elite. I came here the other day to redeem a birthday slice- CF got me, it was a $30 slice ha! Meaning I got taquitos and a glass of wine but at least the slice was free! I sat at the bar and couldn't resist filling up on some of that warm fresh bread first. I got the chicken taquitos and a glass of rose. The bartender was attentive and friendly. The app came out just when I finished up with the bread and I got the cookie dough cheesecake - one of the few I have yet to try - to go. The taquitos were a little on the bland side but washed down nicely with the rose. And the cheesecake was of course delicious. Definitely made that last 2-3 sittings. We came to The Cheesecake Factory for a Sunday dinner and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience from start to finish. Starting with the hostess, she led us to a high-top table, and when we politely asked if we could sit at a lower table or booth (which should've been easy since plenty were open), she gave us attitude about it. Not exactly the warm welcome you expect, but we did end up getting seated elsewhere, so that worked out at least. Then it took around five minutes for our server to come by. We ordered an appetizer, and she immediately pushed us to order entrées, saying, "The kitchen is really backed up right now, so even if I put your food in right now, your appetizer will come before." We weren't ready to order yet, so she came back a couple minutes later to take our full order. Fast forward about 45 minutes -- our entrées finally arrived, but no appetizer. We ended up cancelling it because at that point it was just ridiculous. During the long wait, we went through one basket of bread and had to flag her down for another. When she brought it, she said, "The kitchen is working on the brown bread right now, so this is not fresh bread but I'll bring some more out when it's ready." I have no idea what "not fresh" means in that context, but the bread was cold and rock hard, so that checked out. To be fair, my pasta entrée itself was tasty, but the service was honestly some of the worst I've experienced at this location. Our server seemed scattered and completely out of it, not sure if she was just overwhelmed or something else, but she was a mess all around. I went back this week! There's just something about the ambiance that keeps bringing me back and the staff is always so friendly. This time, I went for lunch with my teen. We ordered two Grilled Avocado Lettuce Wraps and an Alfredo Pasta. I devoured those wraps in no time the three sauces that come with them are amazing! My teen cleaned her pasta plate, too. We were in and out in about an hour. Overall, a successful visit. Loved it. I still think that there should be some more vegetarian/ vegan entrees on the menu. read more

I always order to go because the restaurant is pure chaos inside. There are never any parking spaces available for to go orders and the parking is awful at this mall anyway, so I always have to park far away and walk forever to go pick up my order inside. And every single time I've gone in to pick up my food, the employees spend a long time chatting with each other and ignoring me standing at the counter staring at my bag of food. That being said, nothing beats the Godiva cheesecake so I always come back when a coupon is loaded in my account. The whole experience is such a pain that it's not worth paying full price for though. That goes double for the Raleigh location, too. That parking garage is a nightmare. Wish they'd put a CF in Cary somewhere. read more

Our waiter, Stewart, was excellent. Very attentive and polite. The way he presented the food to us is how you would expect it to be done in a fine dining restaurant. He did an excellent job. I had the green chicken chicken enchiladas, which looked very good on the plate, but unfortunately that was about the extent. The very sticky rice had cilantro on it and that was it. Not very flavorful. The black beans didn't have much flavor either, although did have some cheese on them. The most flavorful thing about the enchiladas were the corn tortillas that were very good. The chicken was dry. I know this dish could be really good, the recipe just needs to be upgraded, especially for the price being charged for it. My spouse had the spaghetti and meatballs, which she liked and with the amount of garlic in it she's sure to ward off vampires for at least the next several days. For dessert she had the skinny cheesecake, which she liked. I had the chocolate mousse cheesecake which was very good, but the amount of whipped cream that came with it was insane. We both had coffee and my second cup tasted like the bottom of the pot. We brought back amount half of our dessert and our meals. We had a $10 off coupon, but the bill still came to over $80 with tip. Honestly it's way overpriced. A year later....Flies and Gnats everywhere. Some food came out not warm at all. My daughter couldn't eat her spaghetti because gnats were landing on it. I had to hurry up and put my food in a to-go box because flies were flying around it. Plenty of flies are in the glass near where the food is being cooked. Just imagine how many gnats and flies are landing on your food before it comes out. The servers looked unkempt. Hair messy, clothes dirty looking, not neat at all. Walked in for lunch around 11:30 and we were quickly attended to. We had never been and so we enjoyed seeing the way that the place was decorated. It was slightly darker inside which we enjoyed and the music was pretty solid not overly loud in the place. The main reason we had a good time today is our server I would like to shoutout Kevin W for being very helpful. From the beginning he was very attentive and helped us pick good items to try. Thanks to him we tried the buffalo blasters which we really enjoyed. He also recommended us to add a side of Alfredo to our jambalaya pasta. That was a great idea we enjoyed it. Our favorite dish was the chicken Madeira which was also recommended by Kevin. I got the Oreo cheesecake and my girlfriend got the s'mores. Both were very good. My girlfriend also got a macchiato which she enjoyed. Overall we enjoyed everything and portions were great, we brought home enough food to have dinner and even small pieces of our cheesecake. Might be a slightly more expensive restaurant but we were happy with everything. Great service from our server we wish more servers were like that. I was there 2 days ago with friend for a birthday lunch at around 11:30am. The staff were kind. I have no complaints about the staff. The restaurant it self was clean. I had an appetizer cheeseburger spring roll, the ranch was too garlicky. The friend I was with had the lunch orange chicken the portions were good the rice was really dry and tasted like it was from the day before and heated up in a microwave the orange chicken did not taste fresh either and one had sugar free cheesecake has gone down in size and the other had carrot cake was fine. All 3 of us had tea to drink. With all this to say for what we paid this was a big disappointment and I have no desire to go back. read more

Great place to visit! One can never go wrong with the Cheesecake Factory for the most part. It was busy and crowded but the service and food here was great. Shout to our server, I believe her name was Shea. She provided great service and was very attentive. The food portions were huge ---the vegan cobb salad colourful and the crab fritters appetizer was delicious.. For my main dish, I ordered the Jambalaya chicken & shrimp. Instead of the white rice that is typically served with this dish, I requested spaghetti noodles with extra garlic. It was perfect and the flavors were on point. This was my first time at this Cheesecake Factory location, and In all it was a great experience. The only dissapointment was the opportunity to try out one of the many cheesecakes. We were running late for a movie and I didn't get a chance to partake in this "must do ritual" when coming here! But, you can bet I will be ordering one the next time around! :-) read more

My friend and I went to TCF for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and had a very pleasant time. We both ordered salads and they were absolutely enormous - like one would be enough for two people. I had the Caeser salad with chicken, my friend had the Mexicali. He -almost- finished his. I did my best but left another serving. It was tasty tho! The whole Egyptian ambiance was weird, but clean, and the service was really very good. So, overall, it was a good experience. We just had a party of 8 tonight in Durham! It was the worse experience I have ever had at that restaurant and it is in the middle of the week. Ambiance is good like all Cheesecake Factories and menu is the usual large one as well. Usual breads were terrific. Husband enjoyed his flatbread and I loved my "skinnylicious" lemon garlic shrimp, but I have to confess it could not have been truly skinnylicious as there was a massive amount of oil/butter in it. However, I chose to believe the calorie count on the menu and not let it disturb my enjoyment of it, because it was perfectly cooked and very yummy. I absolutely love the Cheesecake Factory! The menu is so large so I love that I always have so many options, and I can try something new every time I go there. It was a busy Friday night when we went, but we were seated right away, so it wasn't too bad for just a party of two. Our waitress had forgot to put in our appetizers, so we had waited a really long time for our food to come out, just for it to be our entrees, when we thought we were waiting for appetizers. She let us know that she forgot to put them in, and asked if we still wanted them, and we did. We just ate them with our entrees. We had the fried mac and cheese, which is my favorite and the fried zucchini! Both very good. I ordered the shepherds pie, which was my first time having it and its my new favorite. My family and I have eaten at plenty of Cheesecake Factory restaurants in NY, FL, and even Nevada. We decided on our last night here in NC to go to our favorite restaurant for dinner. Boy what a nightmare. First, the glass on one of the entrance doors was missing with a big wooden board covering where the glass would be. The food took FOREVER to come out. When it finally did and I was eating my salad and I found something strange in it. I called the waiter over and he apologized and he couldn't even tell me what it was. He said I'll bring you another one. At that point I really didn't want it but he never offered to take it off my bill. We checked in at the hostess stand and I requested a larger table as I'm plus size and don't like to be crammed and the hostess was such a gem. Very kind and accommodating to this request. Welp, I was surprised to see that they didn't open until 1100 on weekend morning, but we joined the small crowd of people and waited til the doors opened. They were pretty efficient in getting people seated. I opted from the brunch menu, and really enjoyed the brule French toast-that syrup was amazing!!! Our server was good too, she had a great personality and seemed happy to be doing her job, I believe her name was Kylee or Kelce(sorry I hate that I don't recall her name and I don't have a copy of the receipt to double check that!)
