    Fried Banana peppers

Upscale diner that serves breakfast all day if that's your thing. We come here often. Service is always super friendly and fast. Drinks never run empty. Our food is outstanding! Best beef stroganoff I've ever had! We come for the fried banana peppers. Love the old fashioned decor and check board flooring very classy.

Still a great experience- waitress was attentive and got seated and fed fast. Was a bit disappointed in the chicken and waffle special because the chicken was not super flavorful and was a pretty small piece. For $14 without any other sides I wasn't super impressed and will probably stick to what I usually get next time. It was pretty loud in the restaurant because it was pretty busy but thankfully it cleared out some and I didn't have to shout to talk to my company.

Good breakfast option: tasty food and friendly service. Sausage had good flavor and omelet was thin, diner style.

Several more meals at this establishment and I can continue to vouch for its quality. The ambience is very much diner with a side of regulars, who can walk in to reserved tables on a given night. The staff treat everyone well, that is, just like regulars! The style of cobbler isn't my taste (crust too thick, not enough fruit) but there are usually six or seven desserts listed on the board to choose from. As for mains, I keep returning to the chicken and dumplings or three veg dinner. Yum!

Had a great brunch with the family on a Sunday morning. We had a table for 9 that we didn't call in and they were able to accommodate within 20 min. The hosts were very nice and provided updates when our table was going to be ready. When we were seated, the waitress was very quick and professional with our orders and providing any additional requests. The food is good for diner food. No complaints, but it's nothing to go wild about. All portion sizes were well sized. They serve breakfast all day, have lunch options, and have a kids menu too. The price for the entire table was barely over $100, so it came to just over $10/plate. Very affordable! I will definitely come back, glad we have this place a try.

The food is so good and perfect for sharing. My go to dishes are the gambas (shrimp), the barbacoa is my absolute favorite, the octopus and either the crudo or ceviche. This is more than enough food for 2 people. The food and drinks are consistent. I recommend making a reservation on OpenTable ahead of time as it can be crowded on any given day. Overall, the food was okay, not the best but not the worst. The couple we dined with ordered the Gambas a La Plancha (shrimp) and let us try some, it had a delicious sauce that was really good with the ciabatta bread! My two favorite dishes were the Gambas and the Barbacoa, overall they had the best flavor/value. NC Corn Elote ($12): decent grilled corn, but there was way too much mayo on the plate. Birria Dumplings ($17): these were good, I loved the sauce which had a good kick! Barbacoa ($19): The meat was a bit fatty/greasy, but the amount of food was well worth the price. It came with corn tortillas and other fresh toppings/sauces that cut through the fat. Campechano Sope ($16): The dish had a good spice, however, I think the octopus was overcooked.

The restaurant itself is cozy with warm accents, brick walls, and wood paneling. I feel like I'm visiting a good friends home whenever I visit here. As for the menu, and I say this without exaggeration, the carrot cavatelli is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten in my life. I seriously dream about that carrot cavatelli. Here's some of my other favorites: Smoked Hamachi Puree- the toaste brioche goes perfectly with this pate-like fish dish, so insanely delicious Caramelized Onion Tart- the robiola foam is a dream and pairs perfectly with the apple Carrot Cavatelli- I would literally write the chef personally if this item was ever removed from the menu. Trust me, just order this for the table. King Trumpet- there's not much better than a grilled trumpet mushroom Seared Scallops- such a fantastic dish that comes with creamed greens and little pasta to accompany it Braised Beef Short Rib- meaty and delicious, exactly as you would expect Chocolate Mousse- a delicious, decadent dessert that's the perfect way to end a meal All in all, you can't have a bad meal at Littler. There is plenty of parking on the backside of the building, paid parking out front, and be careful not to park in the apartment spaces on the side...they sounded pretty serious about towing. I had made a reservation but it was probably unnecessary as it was pretty empty when we arrived (it was about 5pm on a Saturday.) The waitress brought a bottle of water to the table and took our drink order. And I know that this place is literally call it's a Southern thing but can I mention how much I dislike drinking out of mason jars? I ordered the chicken n biscuits, my husband got the country hamburger steak plate, my BiL got wings, and my SiL got the crabcakes. We also orders charred jalapeno & sweet corn hushpuppies and frickles as an appetizer. I was VERY excited about my food. Y'all...the only thing that impressed me were the Frickles. Everything else was distinctly underwhelming. I also ordered Blackberry Betta Have My Money which was not that great. My SiL ordered a espresso martini that they said didn't come from a mix but she said it tasted like it was. The bathrooms were very clean. The decor and the vibe were great. Cute even. I really enjoyed that part of it. After dropping off our food, we never saw our waitress again unless we flagged her down for drink refills. It was especially frustrating since there was automatic gratuity added. And since the place wasn't that busy, it felt like she didn't feel the need to earn her automatic tip. Overall I was disappointed in my birthday dinner. I won't be coming back here.
