Cereal Bowl - Mix and Match French toast crunch + birthday fruity pebbles PLUS bananas and Reese's pieces !!!!
    Mark F.

Such an awesome experience visiting the Cereal Spot - what a great place to check out while family is visiting! I had been meaning to visit since they moved to a larger location on Elmwood Ave a few months back. The location is quite large with plenty of seating (with both small and large tables). There is amazing graffiti art on the walls with cereal characters AND each of the tables are designed like popular cereal boxes (Frosted Flakes, Trix, etc.)! There are ENDLESS cereal options to choose from, ranging from popular cereals you can get anywhere to rare editions you can only find online. You can mix and match a couple of cereals and add some toppings in a bowl, have them served like a taco shell, OR mix up some cereals with ice cream in a mason jar (YUM). Let me say that the presentations of each dish are beautiful and extremely appetizing. Kudos to the lone employee who was working that day - there as a steady stream of customers for a little while and she did a fantastic job serving us in a reasonable amount of time. I was pleased with the fair prices too. Cereal Spot is a great place to visit for people of ALL ages - you can bring a group of friends and kids would certainly have a blast here. I might consider this a dessert spot too :D

5 stars for beautiful murals, good concept, variety, and delicious ice cream taco. You get so happy from just walking in. The mix and match deal is $5.99 for 3 cereals and 2 toppings. I think it's a decent price for the variety that you can try especially since there's 20+ types to choose from. On this visit, I decided to go for an ice cream taco. Ice cream taco with a choice of: chocolate or fruity pebble shell (which can be described as a flat rice krispies marshmallow treat), Perry's ice cream, and topping. This counts as breakfast, right? Would love to see other types of cereal infused treats as they get established! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as street parking.

This place is great for everyone; its atmosphere is welcoming and inviting. My friends and I went to check this new hot spot out, stopped in during the week, on a rainy day to avoid the business. As soon as we walked in, you couldn't help but look at the unique themed mural on the wall, or all the cereal choices. The concept is rather interesting mix & match; choose up to three different cereals, comes with your choice of toppings two to three, and milk on the side. Note both size options give you a huge bowl of cereal. They do offer a non dairy version for an extra charge, which was appreciated since dairy milk isn't the best for my stomach. The plain Jane is only one choice of cereal, and toppings. My advise go for something you've never tried, wouldn't ordinary buy and have fun with mixing it up. The owner was extremely pleasent, easy going, and great with offering suggestions of cereals to mix. Hopefully in the future, may they will offer a smaller bowl size. They offer options of icecream on your cereal, cereal taco, and other sweet cereal desserts. I dont know anyone that doesn't love cereal, or love feeling like a little kid again, enjoy cartoons well your there and support local.

Super neat and unique spot! They have a variety of cereals that are different and one of a kind. I haven't really tried many items but got a cinnamon toast crunch cereal taco at Pride Fest! The shell is made up of chewy Rice Krispie and the ice cream was delicious! I kinda wish it had more of a cinnamon flavor to it.

Definitely worth it if your stopping in to mix some cereals up or go for some dessert. Dessert tacos are available which is definitely my next go to. My first stop included mixing reeses puffs with All Berries, toppings included strawberries and bananas. Not only did the reeses make everything else taste like chocolate covered deliciousness, the fresh fruit really hit it home With lots of snacks and drinks, toppings and cereals to pick from, this is definitely your childhood dream of breakfast. The reason for the 4 stars is motivated by the pricing. $6.99 for a bowl with 2 cereals and 2 toppings of your choosing. $4.99 for one type of cereal with 1 topping.

Love it. Love it. Love it. Chocolate ice cream with peanut butter is so good. And the "taco" is made by cereal too, also very yummy

I was really excited to try this place out but was definitely let down. I felt like it was over hyped and although they have a bunch of cereal boxes as decoration, you have a limited amount of cereals to actually choose from. There were only 2 people working and I felt like the menu didn't clearly explain what the items were. Overall I felt like I could've made the same thing at home by just putting cereal in ice cream.

Didn't actually get a bowl cereal when I went, but my friend had the Fruity Pebbles taco and it looked and tasted good (she let me try some). I ordered a slice of cake. It was a Cinnamon Toast crunch churros cake ($5) and it was yummy. I should have let it warm up a bit before eating it as it was in the cooler, but it was still good nonetheless. The place has a cool aesthetic and that alone is worth popping in to check out.

I have been waiting to visit for a while! They opened in September 2020 (originally were suppose to open in March 2020) and have anything you would want! My husband and I both did the mix and match, which included 2 toppings. I chose ice cream. We both are lactose intolerant and I have a dairy allergy, so it was amazing to have so many options for milk and even ice cream! They had almond milk, flavored almond milk, oat milk, cashew milk, etc. They even had cinnamon toast creamer for coffee! They had really cool murals, cartoons showing, and 90's cartoon shirts. The tables are really cool and they have boxes of ice cream all around the store (learned today that Tim Hortons has cereal???) Service was really fast and the staff was so nice. As of May 29, 2021, you need a mask to enter but can take it off once it's time to eat We will definitely be coming back!!

Y'all few things get my heart like cereal milk anything. It's delicious and I'm always in the mood. So when I walked in to Cereal Spot this last week, I knew I found my people. My tribe. On the menu someone can get a simple bowl of cereal, or something more extravagant like a cereal sundae. I opted for the delicacy cereal taco. Y'all, I'm obsessed. I got the fruity pebbles cereal taco, and switched out the strawberry cheese cake ice cream for vanilla. My husband for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Both were FANTASTIC but admittedly, fruity pebbles was by far the best. We got to talking to the owner and he right now has over 200+ cereal brands. Simply paradise. They also have cereal bars, cereal cupcakes, cereal cannolis. All the things! Next time we come back, I could try something else but I'm a painful creature of habit. I won't change a thing. If you haven't been here yet, you need to get here!

Customized cereal taco - only $5 on Tuesdays
    Laura G.

Fun place for kids (and adults who want to enjoy all their favorite childhood cereals). We went on a Tuesday so that we could take advantage of their $5 cereal tacos.  So glad that they changed this special from 4-8pm to all-day.  There were 2 standard cereal tacos to 4 "newer" ones to choose from, but then I found out you can create-your-own, because they make them to order (no pre-made cereal tacos here).  I customized mine and ordered a Reese Puff shell with Perry's Brownie Blitz ice cream and topped it all off with Oreo pieces and Golden Grahams.  Although the shell was overly sweet (would have loved some peanut butter added to it), it was bendable, which made eating it easier.  My husband enjoyed his Cookies & Cream cereal taco and my kids LOVED their cereals that they picked out.  It was cute that they had straw-bowls for the kids. Yeah, $3.99 might seem like a lot for a bowl of cereal, but really it's not bad when you think about how you have 100s of choices, a good selection of toppings, a lots of different milks to choose from.  For $27 we got 3 bowls of cereal and 2 cereal tacos and we were all stuffed! We will keep this place in mind for end of school year celebrations with our kids.  It's a nice break from a hot meal on summer day and what kid doesn't want sugary cereal topped with more sugar?

The Cereal Spot is a fun place to enjoy just about any flavor cereal and ice cream combo. A friend and I finally stopped by after lunch one day and enjoyed it as much as we thought we would. I made my own sundae with a fruity pebbles cereal bar and birthday cake ice cream. The ice cream was amazing! I enjoyed the presentation of it served in a large breakfast bowl. The tables are fun with nostalgic table tops. The whole interior is full of nostalgia actually. My friend had a taco and she enjoyed it. Definitely check out the Cereal Bar!

Been following for a while now! So excited that they finally opened!! We got a bowl of cereal and two cereal tacos as well as a Frootloops marshmallow treat. For their second day open, service was really fast. They made a mistake in one order but quickly fixed it. The art and atmosphere is amazing in itself to be honest. The mural and decor is super cool and you also get to pick which Cereal Box table to sit at!! Its super fun for a date or if you have kids, definitely a fun and entertaining place to have a bowl of cereal. There are also many murals in the area as well as other places to stop by. So the Cereal Spot is a great place to grab a snack while visiting shops or murals as well. For location, art, and pricing, this place has my highest recommendation.

I had to get a cinnamon waffle cone because they are made in house and absolutely delicious! Not to mention, I've never seen a cinnamon waffle cone elsewhere and I love cinnamon! That was the easy decision... Then I had to narrow it down to just 3 different flavors to get in my cone. I ended up choosing off the seasonal menu because I don't get out Rosie's way often; I got the Spiced Mocha, Joshalicious and 42 Drunken Raisins (see descriptions in pics). I enjoyed them all as I usually do when I have ice cream. It's tough for me to meet an ice cream that I don't enjoy. I love that Rosie's has such creative flavors too. They even have one with crickets in it that I want to try called Cherry Chirp. Unfortunately it was not on the menu this time. The service was fast & friendly. I would definitely visit again and wish there was a location closer to Lockport!

No fries or drink for either of us, but we did get a pint of the Perry's peanut butter swirl in vanilla because we haven't seen it at the grocery store. The fish sandwich was kind of sad looking. It comes plain now, but they'll add tartar sauce for you if you ask. I added cheese, too. It tasted pretty good, no complaints really, but the quality to price ratio is off...it's $10.79 if you opt for cheese. It's just not worth that to me. Matt liked his Italian sausage, although the link was quite short. And of course the ice cream is delicious! The customer service was really great, too. The ladies there were very friendly and helpful. Our total for two items and a pint came to $29.71. Looking at it all together when I took the photo, I just don't feel like it's a good value. Note that in to order flavors, you'll want to follow "livingthecream_" on Instagram, "living_the_cream_" on Facebook, which showcases any new flavors being crafted and hosts the link to place your order. I tried two flavors: Oreo Brownie Smash and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella. Oreo Brownie Smash is Oreo cookie ice cream with brownie batter swirls, Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, and half-baked brownies and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella is spiced eggnog ice cream infused with Jim Beam and Platter's dark orange chocolate stracciatella. Just. WOW! Absolutely no complaints, each was bursting with flavor and packed with so many mix-ins. I loved finding huge Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough chunks and just how chocolatey Oreo Brownie Smash was thanks to all the brownie bits swirled in. The Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella had the creamy, comforting flavor of eggnog with a nice nip of Jim Beam that let you know it was there but never overpowering. The crunchy bits of the dark orange chocolate stracciatella cut through all the creaminess, only elevating the ice cream overall. Opening both pints, I was super impressed how jam-packed they were - It took a bit of effort to get the lids off, the pint was on the cusp of overflowing! So I didn't order these pints so I can't give you the most accurate pricing info, but after trying a couple flavors, I'm happy to order a few pints myself without thinking too much about the cost.
