I got an iced coffee for the next morning and a jasmine tea for that evening -- both were exquisite. The tea was refreshing and the coffee is so flavorful, strong without being bitter and lots of delicious notes. The guy working behind the counter was so kind too -- appreciate his thoughtfulness once he found out I would drink it next morning, he held on putting ice in so it would stay concentrated til the next day. I need to go back and buy a pound or two of coffee -- or maybe they can open one closer to me in LA too :)

The barista was super friendly too and chatted with me while making my drink. I ordered the iced vanilla latte and it was great--smooth and not overly sweet (which is rare because vanilla lattes can easily taste like dessert). The water stations are a nice touch, but a couple of them were only filled with ice and the dispensers propped up above a puddle of water. At least one of them seemed to have a leak. They have two restrooms that are available for customers- expect a long wait time. The restrooms need more attention and maintenance especially during high-traffic times. The staff cleaning and clearing the tables were friendly and efficient. They were fast at bussing tables and getting them ready for the next guests. They also swept the outdoor seating area frequently which helped keep the seagulls at bay.

It's now more of a pick up kind of place now with a line out the door and people waiting inside together their dreams. We sat inside for a couple hours to work with free Wi-Fi. The store gets very rowdy and very loud with a lot of people trying to fit into the tables. I couldn't wait til it died down so i left. I think it'd be nice to see more tables like before and to make it more of a sit down café. 5/5 loudness 5/5 matcha. I think it's still worth picking up my matcha.
