The Burger Place is outstanding!! Literally the best burgers in Brevard county in my opinion! I ordered the 8oz Cheeseburger added bacon and grilled onions and of course my favorite topping their signature Ghost Pepper cheese. I also got fries with my burger and an ice cold beer on the side. The service at The Burger Place is incredible, when you walk in everyone is so friendly and they always make you feel like family. If you are ever in downtown Melbourne area and want a great burger please come check them out, I promise you will not be disappointed. We sat in the outside dining area but they do have lovely booths inside as well. Took some pics to show off the greatness! read more

My husband was in dire need of eating red meat yesterday. We eat a keto/carnivore way and I'm enjoying as much seafood/fish as I can on our trip here in Fla but I've been steering us to seafood places not the best beef restaurants. He wanted a big hamburger. We came in after lunch time and he got the 16 oz. burger and a side of fries (not keto or carnivore). I haven't had a potato since last Christmas and these fries looked REAL (not the frozen or processed fries most restaurants use which I wouldn't waste my time eating). I had to try a few. I wasn't hungry so I just ate a few of his fries and tried a couple bites of his burger. The fries were yummy. Almost addictive. I asked the gal at the counter about what kind of oil they used to fry potatoes in. Sadly, they use soybean oil, not tallow which is what all restaurants used pre-1980. Tallow is at least keto/carnivore friendly. My husband loved the burger minus the bun. I thought the burger was absolutely DELICIOUS. So I'm rating this 4 stars not 5 because the dirty seed oil ruined what could have been the best french fries. By the way....Steak & Shake uses tallow for frying their fries in. read more

Maybe you think my photo of my medium rare burger and extra crispy fries with bacon "on the side" at The Burger Place looks unappealing but to me, it was burger and fries HEAVEN! I cannot remember the last time I had fries that good! My only complaint, if there was one, would be that the menu is pretty limited. If you are looking for a made to order burger and shoestring fries, you gotta try this place! read more

Delicious food snd everyone eas super friendly. I got the vanilla malt and it was soooooo good . The burger kind of got pricey on me after adding lettuce, tomatoes onions, bacon and cheese. It turned out to be a $30 burger because of the add-ons which I thought was pretty pricey but overall it waa still very good. Ambiance was very chill with old school music. read more

Service was horrible. Burgers were big and good. If you order A1, also get it on the side. They put very little on the burger. Ordered cooked onions, got raw. Fries are good but need salt. I would go back and hope for a better experience read more

Super popular burger place in Melbourne - evident by their long wait time. I love that they did a prison theme for Halloween- workers were either in orange or cop costumes. The Maxi burger was huge (16oz), and you can add toppings in their list for free or extra. My burger toppings were falling because of how big it is. Worth it for $15! Def got the sautéed mushrooms but wish I got the A1 steak sauce (forgot). Their shoestring fries were okay, needed salt or something. They have a cashier line for credit and separate one for cash only. Love an on theme burger joint. read more

Amazing burger with all the fixings. Not greasy at all, great flavor, and the bun was soft and fluffy. The mini burger and fries was plenty to fill me up. Large fry is an entire bag so be ready to share! read more

The food was good but the older guy (owner) was very rude I was talking to the server to ask her if I place anything order would my food come out the same time the owner told me to stop talking to her she's very busy read more

I ordered the cheeseburger through Uber Eats. Medium well done. It was almost rare. Gray, mushy meat without any browning on the outside. Bun was too chewy and pickles were the only thing worth eating. Complete waste of money for a hamburger over $12. Burger Inn blows this crap away. Ugh. I threw it in the garbage immediately. This place genuinely had great food. The burger was homemade and tasted way better than the other places around here, and besides the burger, the service here is great, everybody was nice and treated me and my family well. The restaurant has a 1950s diner vibe that really hits, love this place. Overall, this place was good and I would recommend it! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. Me and my husband have been at least 10 time, and it's been so good every time. It has a retro vibe. My favorite food is a classic burger, and the burger place has the best burger I've literally ever had. The people have always been nice, and it's been so consistent it's amazing. Some places I enjoy I don't always like going to because it can be hit or miss, but burger place has NEVER MISSED. I've told every friend who lives within 40 minutes to go here read more

Loved eating here. I had lunch here yesterday and we sat inside. I ordered a mini cheeseburger combo. The fries were great/ really loved them. Mini cheeseburger was perfect for me- it tasted similar to the five guys burger- the bbq sauce was similar. Would definitely recommend if you're in Melbourne. read more

I will admit I solely chose to drag my kids from the beach and come here just for the old fashioned vibes lol For starters, I didn't realize it was an order first kinda of place. This wasn't an issue but beware it can lead to a wait. We came during lunch rush and it took about 10 minutes to finally make it up to make an order. The service was fast and the servers were nice! The interior is adorable and spacious! We love the retro seating vibes inside but they also had a nice little outdoor seating area. Its location is perfect on a very busy street so you can shop before or after visiting. Both my kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our food! My son who will literally only eat McDonald's fries now says these are the best fries he has ever had! I wish they would open a location near me however if we ever find ourselves in the Melbourne area we would totally make a return visit! read more

No need to go anywhere else for a burger when you have freshly homemade buns and patty. I usually end up taking the bun out when it gets soggy or too dry but here, I ate every bite. Best Burger in town. read more

Before I rate them, I have to ding myself for not taking pictures to post. Blame it the fact I dug right in to my meal The burger place is cute and we were lucky enough to go on a day cool enough to sit outside on their patio. I ordered a hamburger with mushrooms and a tomato and, of course, fries on the side. My dining companion had a burger with everything on it and a large side of fries. The burger was very good and the fries thin and crispy but the bun .. the bun was the star because oh my it was stellar. I am going back - soon. By the way - I finished everything which I don't often do, and helped finish my partner's large fries. read more

I have lived here for almost 3 years and have been missing out on this place....the entire time. Nestled in historic Downtown Melbourne, this old school based diner designed spot will hit you right where it counts, in your hunger button . I got the Bronson Burger, and it hit "different" folks. Let me tell you. Don't sleep on this bad boy, it has mushrooms, BBQ sauce, A1, Bacon and Provolone, and it is . The wife had the mini (4oz) combo meal and it hit the spot. No complaints people, if you haven't been here, it's worth the visit. I think you will be back. The staff was great, the location unique and the food was TASTY! read more

This place was like any other normal burger place except way overpriced. $50 for 2 burger fries and 2 shakes. Nothing special about it.

Hamburgers were tender and juicy the sautéed mushrooms and onions were a great compliment to the hamburger. The fresh cut flies were cooked perfectly. The 50s diner atmosphere was nice. read more

Classic burger joint with classic diner interior and moderately priced food in downtown Melbourne. This place is located on the street for downtown Melbourne. The interior is all in the classic 50's (?) burger joint style, kind of similar to steak n' shake interiors. The food is reasonably priced for the locations, with burgers being approximately $6-$10, shakes being $6-$8 and fries $4-$6. I got a burger and malt shake for ~15 after tax. The food took about 15 minutes to come out but they call your number and bring it to you. I came on a Wednesday evening, so I'd imagine it'd be a longer wait on weekends. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating options. The burger was rather standard, but they have a wide range of free topping options (including grilled onions and mushrooms), as well as it being on a brioche bun. I enjoyed the burger, nothing special but still good nonetheless. The shake was absolutely delicious and almost a chocolate overload. Overall a good experience for a fast casual burger in downtown. read more

Dry ,uninspiring burger. For the price just go to a real restraunt.Over cooked, over price.

My family and I had burgers and fries for lunch today at The Burger Place. Our burgers were great except that they had given my grilled chicken sandwich to my boyfriend's dad, my boyfriend's chicken sandwich to me, and my boyfriend ended up with his dad's cheeseburger. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed each other's order! The marinated grilled chicken was tender and juicy. The soft and fluffy brioche bun was so delicious! The fries were perfectly crisp and salty. Just make sure to check your food before digging in in case your server gives you someone else's food. You'll at least eat something great and leave full! read more

This isn't fancy and leave your diet at the door because the burgers are awesome. My only regret for this place is closed on Sunday.

Tonight was burger night, and we are trying to search for the best burgers in Brevard County. This time we gave " the burger place" a try. So I like a beer with my burger, but apparently the taps were malfunctioning. So, I ordered an expresso vanilla shake. It was really good, so not a beer but pretty tasty. Got a loaded 8oz cheddar cheese burger with grilled onion and mushrooms. The burger was excellent. Only weird deal was the paper napkins. They were thin and small. Not an exaggeration. We went through 25 plus napkins. Lol, juicy burger, they need big napkins. So, two burgers, two shakes, large fries, with 20% tip.... $55 buck. I guess in this day and age of inflation???? But still a bit of sticker shock. We will come back, but might only get the 4oz mini next time. read more

The Burger Place - Correction from a previous post, not top 3, the BEST burger& fries in area - Burgers Near Me - Melbourne, Florida

This spot is adorable! It has a retro vibe that plays wonder oldies with stylish blue and white classic furniture that just feels like an old Chevy car! Lol The fries are super super thin and crispy (my favorite but my husband least favorite) though he had a basket of fries and everyone of them was only about an inch long which made it so so hard to eat. He was not happy but we guess it was the bottom of the batch (which probably should have been thrown away instead of served to customers) The milkshakes are creamy and THICK! Very iconic. The burgers were bland. I am so sad they had so little flavor because I need a good burger joint! Sadly this isn't it. On a positive note, the buns were brioche and perfectly toasted! read more

One of the best places to get a burger in Brevard county. The just right amount of everything working together in perfect harmony. Service at the front was helpful and pleasant for first time visitors. Prices were extremely reasonable. My burger was cooked medium, seasoned excellent, was juicy but not so greasy that it would drip everywhere or soak the bun. Toppings were all very fresh and in perfect proportion so that not one single topping over powered the other. Fries are very good. Not quite shoe string but thinner than your standard fast food joint. Somehow they are able to cook them to the perfect crispiness on the outside without over cooking on the inside. The 50's diner atmosphere is a cool nostalgic experience and we will most certainly be back. read more

Drove into Melbourne late in the evening and found the burger place for dinner. What an amazing burger cooked and prepared the way you'd like it. I love how simple this place is. The service is very quick and it's so easy to order. I usually place the order quickly on my phone and then go pick it up in the back. The chicken nuggets are my favorite. They're super crispy and flavorful. They have good options for burgers and sauces. This American Diner has a very nostalgic feel to it and it's in the perfect spot to go for a nice little walk right after. read more

Cool spot for a quick bite. Everything is made fresh and the fries are great. Nice selection of choices for your burger, they also have chicken sandwiches. The combination platters consist of your burger, fries and a drink. It is a mini but large enough to satisfy a hungry yelped. You can dine indoor or outdoor, both areas are spacious. They have nicely stocked areas for your condiments and some really old school music that will bring back memories. Prime example, ' what do you do when you fall in love. Just, bop, eat and wait for your food to arrive. Almost like a Happy Days vibe. This is one place in the area l can guarantee that l will be back. read more
