Grabbing my random name generator and pressing some buttons, I patiently awaited my lunch destination. Well, well, well, looks like I'm heading OTB from some authentic Florida BBQ as the name flashing at me was TNT BBQ & Grill. As this was the weekend, I headed toward their weekend location tucked inside Renninger's Flea Market (because when isn't it a good time for BBQ?). Not having been abacinated, I found their quaint location with 8 tables fairly quickly and commenced perusing the posted menu. The man at the helm this fine Saturday afternoon was none other than the owner, a premier restaurateur by the name of Paul. Paul was in the zone as his place was slammed and he worked with the ease of a well-seasoned Captain directing his ship through a Cat 4 Hurricane. Having come to a conclusion as to my repast, I politely queried Paul for one Rib platter, an order of his Beef Brisket, some pulled pork and one unsweetened tea with which to wash it all down. As in the weeds, as Paul appeared to be, he had my order up in no time. Snapping a few quick pictures, I hurriedly placed my meat hooks around my utensils and hungrily dug in. If you pause for a moment and shine your peepers on the pics, you will notice that everything looked fine, albeit lacking some luster nestled as it was in Styrofoam take-out containers. The ribs were first up and let me tell you, these are some damn fine ribs. They were cooked to perfection and I found the sauce to be tangy and flavorful, while not overpowering. The fries were of the frozen variety though these were obviously top tier and fried to golden perfection. The slaw was extremely flavorful and tasted farm fresh. The Brisket is so tender it practically melts on the palate and I found the pulled pork to be delightful and offers a subtle vinegar finish. You find the coolest places in the strangest locations. Let me be clear. This isn't Cryderman's. However, for a flea market limited seating out of a food truck? Outstanding. Many props to Paul.
