Finally tried this newest casino by cascades!! With nothing better to do on a rainy day wkday, me and my buddy went to try this place. For this not familiar with the area, i suggest using goggle Maps to accurately find the place and the entrance to the parkade. A wrong turn on the hwy, would mean looping around richmond and the massey tunnel again. Place is immaculately clean and huge. Brand spanking new . the carpets and surroundings smells good and polished to a sparkling shine. Lunch buffet was priced at $21/pax. Awesome price Point, as you would pay the same eating at a food court. Here, you get salads, pasta, 3 kinds of protein, a dessert bar, all you can drink soda, and an ice cream Machine. Heres the food breakdown: Salads : fresh and plentiful with couple Of choices for dressings. Mains: "grilled chicken" - absolutely avoid. It is not grillef but baked in some kind of sauce. You cant even tell what kind of sauce it. Its sorta like a sweet/salty teriyaki taste profile, but not. The chicken also has an after taste. Not fresh, but cooked from frozen. The meat was bland and dry. Next: steam fish with lemon and cream sauce : a bit below average. Bland and under-seasoned. But at least cooked well. Again, frozen type variety just baked In the oven. Lemon cream sauce was weak and watery. Next: pork loin with sauce and beans. : probably the best dish of the entire buffet. Pork was tender and succulent. Sauce was umami and green beans were stilk crunchy. Nice ratio of fat and lean meat. Dessert bar was meh! 3 choices of sheet pan cakes. The kind thats mass produced, frozen, and thawed to serve. The rice pudding i didnt try but looks like it was freshly made. Nice tray of freshly chopped mixed fruits and served cold. Ice cream machine was soft served with couple of choices for toppings and smuckers choco and strawberry syrup. Pop machine is like the one at the movies. Endless choices lol. All in all, it was a decent meal. For the price and food. At least you didnt leave hungry. Clean and wide spaces. Food area clean and pristine. You can eat at a food court for same price. I would try again, but this time the prime Rib buffet at $29.99. For a casino which markets itself as "new" or "high end" ...this is not the kind of food that you should be serving. Its way below casino standards. But so is RiverRock. At least the price is good and affordable unlike others. Cheers! Happy eating!

Worst buffet ever, not even have ice cream machine as what other casino have. Food sucks, boring, blend and dry. Who would want eat macaroni and cheese at buffet ? I would eat it at home microwave my self. Hot food : Frozen cook fish, Preheated ribs, Potatoes, Fried verges (Zucchini, carrot, peppers) , Dried fried chicken tiny wings + tiny drums. Bad selections of hot and cold food. The soup is a joke, slurping flavour water. Dessert is like first come first served, after is gone is gone. Fruits is the same. No refills. Salad station doesn't even have Caesar dressing, noodle salad taste so bad. Definitely not going there again. Highly not recommend anyone waste your time and money going there.

Lunch starts at 11 "PM". LOL

The staff don't get enough credit. They work really hard when it gets busy. Not a bad place for a buffet.

We arrived at 4:30 and took turns standing in line. By the time we got seated down it was 7:15. I heard when the promotion started the wait was super long and there were people waiting for 5 hours. Food was ok. It wasn't superb but again for $9.99 buffet, I couldn't ask for too much. once you are seated the food line up moves super fast and smooth. Food selections or options are super limited. Seems like nothing much to eat other than lobster and prime rib. The salad looked so sad that even I don't want to touch it. I wasn't sure how long the salad has been sitting there. I did grab some flat bread and it was stale. So basically nothing is edible at the buffet other than the lobster and prime rib. The desserts looked sad as well. Definitely not wow. Have to say because I was standing in line for so long, I really got to know my friend H a lot more.

We thought it would primarily be brunch/breakfast items but there was such a large selection and variety of items. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They also had live music which was a nice mood setter. You get juice, pop, coffee or tea included with your meal. Alcoholic drinks are extra charge. We had gone on a regular Sunday and not an "event" Sunday so am not sure of other offerings. There was sushi, inari sushi, dumplings, sticky rice (but not sure if the dimsum was leftover from lunar new year special), roast beef, ham, mussels, shrimp cocktail, fried rice, short rib, roasted vegetables (REAL veg not just bagged corn and peas like other places lol), sablefish, grilled chicken, eggs benny station, omelette station, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, mini avo toasts and dessert bar. The only real downside is the overall price. I think just given the location I wish it were slightly cheaper. Adults are $45 and seniors are $37. There aren't a lot of good quality buffets around so I do understand it sets them apart it just may attract more guests at a bit of a cheaper price. Or maybe it they had something in conjunction with the casino to offer a discount that would be another incentive to get people across the bridge. I would be more so inclined to bring them back at a different rate as we are coming from Burnaby and Vancouver.

When I was walked in I was greeted by two lovely host that coat checked my jacket. The server then showed me to my seat before I set off for the Buffet. And boy was the food good! They had the biggest garlic butter prawns I have ever seen along with Turkey, Schnitzel, a sushi bar and the tastiest icecream I have ever had. I could not believe how good this buffet was. The bartender even told me to go after the sushi before they run out and I'm glad about that tip because it was delicious! This was pretty much a 5 star review. I'm only deducting 1 star because someone flooded the bathroom mid show (I was here for Kings of Leon) and had to go all the way to level 3 for the nearest mens washroom which was a shame. But otherwise this lounge was awesome!

The food was as good as most upscale restaurants I have been to. There are so many options you must be selective or you may eat your weight in food. All the servers were attentive and friendly and it seemed they were always right there as soon as I thought about grabbing another drink. Drink prices are comparable with the regular admission but they treat you like people and give you a glass. The selection is a step up as well and cocktails are available. Sat at the bar seats at the top of the section and it was not cramped and we have a table for drinks and snacks. Again the servers were always around during the show. Would recommend this to anyone who has the chance.

The third star is for the service as the servers come through and clear plates quickly and offer hot drinks when they notice you're towards the end of the meal, so they were great. But food... Considering it's $50 for an adult, you'd be better off going to a regular restaurant and ordering what you really want for a better meal. Most of the food was luke warm and the carving station was almost cold unless you catch a fresh one coming out. The sushi was probably the best items here and some of the salad bar. But how do you mess up fried rice? The rice and noodles were almost inedible and my kids couldn't eat the soft serve ice cream! And they'll eat almost anything sweet. Hmm, I didn't expect amazing food being a buffet, but I certainly expected a bit more than that. Nothing stood out as being all that great overall and at these prices... Maybe not!

At least the skin was still crispy. There is no raw fish at the sushi section. The prime rib was quite small. The desserts were lackluster except for the cobbler which was delicious. It also had a big bowl of devonshire cream and it was amazing. Parking is free in the parkade and there is plenty of parking. I wish they would elevate their dishes to justify the price point.

I was pretty surprised by the lunch buffet spread. The selection was limited but hey, it was only $15, so you could not expect roast beef or raw oysters and fancy seafood and chocolate fountains and the likes. The dessert was pretty good. Besides the smaller petit fours bite size sweets, there were proper cake slices. They also changed the types of cakes when they were gone. There were also tarts and fruit pies, soft serve ice cream (vanilla and chocolate) and mini profiteroles. For the entrees and appetizers/salads, they were not too shabby either. I was a bit impressed they cared enough to get on with the times to have pumpkin/sunflower seed, mandarins, quinoa, artichokes, etc for the salad sections. The dishes for the entrees were a mix of international stuff when I was there - adobo pork, tandoori chicken (looked scary but tasted ok), beef stew, fish (no fishy taste/smell), spring rolls, roast potatoes, grilled veggies, stir fry eggplant and tofu... Non-alcoholic drinks were included and they would be brought to your table. You could also have juices too.
