We came to visit this little town in Langley because the beautiful vivid umbrella decor in McBurney Plaza. Also found out this new(?) Buffet restaurant just beside the plaza, so we decided to stay for dinner. Lunch is $11.99 and dinner is $17.99/person. Quite cheap and reasonable for the prices. There's a main buffet counter in the middle which serves fried food, beef bulgogi, fried veggies with prawns, Korean fried Japchae, salad, fruits, topokki, sushi, and desserts. All the food is freshly made and very delicious. We can tell they prepared the food with care. Everything is clean and safety precautions are in place. Service is excellent and the server is really friendly and welcoming. We are glad to find a new hidden gem and we will definitely come back for more if we're in this area.

This is a wonderful, family-run buffet that provides great value and delicious food. It reminds me of the food I ate while growing up and has a nice, homey feel to it. The owners are lovely and friendly, and they make sure the food is constantly being replenished. You are asked to wear your mask and sanitize your hands every time you go up for the food. They also provide disposable gloves. They have dishes like spicy Korean rice cakes, bulgogi, tempura, spicy Korean chicken stew, meatballs, salad, egg sandwiches, plain and spicy fried chicken, noodles, soups, steamed rice, a few sushi rolls , salmon nigiri, egg rolls, French fries, and a few desserts like brownies, oatmeal cookies, and apples. My favorites were the spicy Korean chicken stew, bulgogi, and tempura. They also have an array of condiments. The only thing that would have made this meal better would have been if they had had some kimchi! All in all, you should definitely check out this lovely buffet and support this great small business. Great value, great food, great people!

We arrived at 4:30 and took turns standing in line. By the time we got seated down it was 7:15. I heard when the promotion started the wait was super long and there were people waiting for 5 hours. Food was ok. It wasn't superb but again for $9.99 buffet, I couldn't ask for too much. once you are seated the food line up moves super fast and smooth. Food selections or options are super limited. Seems like nothing much to eat other than lobster and prime rib. The salad looked so sad that even I don't want to touch it. I wasn't sure how long the salad has been sitting there. I did grab some flat bread and it was stale. So basically nothing is edible at the buffet other than the lobster and prime rib. The desserts looked sad as well. Definitely not wow. Have to say because I was standing in line for so long, I really got to know my friend H a lot more.

We thought it would primarily be brunch/breakfast items but there was such a large selection and variety of items. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They also had live music which was a nice mood setter. You get juice, pop, coffee or tea included with your meal. Alcoholic drinks are extra charge. We had gone on a regular Sunday and not an "event" Sunday so am not sure of other offerings. There was sushi, inari sushi, dumplings, sticky rice (but not sure if the dimsum was leftover from lunar new year special), roast beef, ham, mussels, shrimp cocktail, fried rice, short rib, roasted vegetables (REAL veg not just bagged corn and peas like other places lol), sablefish, grilled chicken, eggs benny station, omelette station, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, mini avo toasts and dessert bar. The only real downside is the overall price. I think just given the location I wish it were slightly cheaper. Adults are $45 and seniors are $37. There aren't a lot of good quality buffets around so I do understand it sets them apart it just may attract more guests at a bit of a cheaper price. Or maybe it they had something in conjunction with the casino to offer a discount that would be another incentive to get people across the bridge. I would be more so inclined to bring them back at a different rate as we are coming from Burnaby and Vancouver.

I loved the crispy exterior with the sea salt on top, and the inside was so pillowy and buttery - then topped with the blue cheese butter... yum! So good. For my entree, I ordered the truffle tenderloin steak and my dining partner had the ahi tuna. We also added the Brussels sprouts and Brie mashed potatoes to share. A really cool feature is they bring over a selection of steak knives that you can choose from. I really love this concept and whoever thought that up is a genius. I chose a gorgeous, elegant-looking knife with a handle that looked like mother of pearl. The steak was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. They shave black truffle directly on the steak when it's served, which adds such a nice richness. The sauce is also one of the better sauces I've had on a steak. It was so tempting to want to lick the plate! It was a cooked to a perfect medium rare and so tender. It's been a long time since I was really blown away by a great steak, but this just hit the mark in every way. The Brussels sprouts were great, but there was something in the dish that was a bit odd - almost like wasabi or something. It wasn't bad, it just had a kick that I wasn't expecting and made me cough a little bit. The potatoes were creamy and buttery but I did think the Brie flavour wasn't coming through enough. Maybe because all the other flavours on my plate were pretty strong. I didn't try the tuna but it looked beautiful and apparently tasted just as good. We finished off with a couple of desserts: the beehive pavlova and the crème brûlée, the latter being my typical go-to dessert. Unfortunately, I didn't really care for the salted caramel flavour here, but can't really put my finger on what exactly I didn't enjoy as I normally love salted caramel. One bite was enough for me. It looked amazing, though. I did enjoy the pavlova, but it wasn't a traditional style as it had ice cream inside instead of whipped cream. It was more like a baked Alaska without the flame. The flavours were good on this dessert, but I probably wouldn't order it again as I was really craving the more traditional pavlova. Service was good, but we did wait quite a long time after being seated before placing our order, and then waited again after dessert before getting our bill. We weren't in a hurry, but I think we were there for over 3 hours. Still a very enjoyable meal and I would definitely return for the steak alone.

Restaurant was not that busy when we stopped by shortly after the dinner service started. Price was reasonable at $24 a person. Food selection was decent. However, the food temperature was not hot enough for my liking and was only slightly warm for many of the items. Also, we had to ask for roti as it was not automatically offered. The roti arrived pipping hot. My favourite items were the gulab jamun and kheer as both were served in the appropriate temperatures. The gulab jamun was served warm and the kheer served chilled. I did enjoy trying a number of different types of curries and the flavours were quite delicious. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was efficient. Our server stopped by regularly to clear dirty plates and refill water. I would consider coming back to try their lunch buffet to see if it was just a one off day. I do think this restaurant is a great option in the area if they can work out the small details. Overall, it was a 3.5 star experience. I had to knock a star down because of the food temperature.

But yes my fave dishes that i was able to make room for me in my belly was the goat curry/ butter chicken/ chili fish/ chickpea curry ... mango flavoured icecream / naan bread. I also snacked on a lot of these colourful looking chips? Haha they reminded me of the asian prawn chips that come on the side of peking duck! If you check this place out please try! I even dipped it in icecream and ooo it was yummy! The service was quite pleasant too. They did an excellent job at replenishing food and checking in with customers to see if we needed more water / naan / napkins etc! Loveeeeeed this! Family friendly place/ ambiance was relaxing for a meal date or even if you wanted to watch sports. They've got massive tvs so if you want to grab drinks it's a perfect place too.
