This is one of those places that you just have to try once. I came here with B, H and E on a Saturday to try their lobster and prime rib buffet dinner. We arrived at 4:30 and took turns standing in line. By the time we got seated down it was 7:15. I heard when the promotion started the wait was super long and there were people waiting for 5 hours. Food was ok. It wasn't superb but again for $9.99 buffet, I couldn't ask for too much. once you are seated the food line up moves super fast and smooth. Food selections or options are super limited. Seems like nothing much to eat other than lobster and prime rib. The salad looked so sad that even I don't want to touch it. I wasn't sure how long the salad has been sitting there. I did grab some flat bread and it was stale. So basically nothing is edible at the buffet other than the lobster and prime rib. The desserts looked sad as well. Definitely not wow. Italian night was nothing special didn't have parmesan to sprinkle on vegetables were too undercooked the salad bar was the best excellent fruit coleslaw macaroni and potato salad Desserts look good but all taste like ass they dont serve you your drinks so they dont get tips nice clean modern decor though music is modern but 20 for dinner not something i would come back for maybe lunch is better the soft serve is not creamy not worth eating comfy booth seating if you have a members card discount can be 5 bucks which makes it worth it if you love clams read more

I came on a Saturday night. That day's special was $9.99 per person for lobster tails and prime rib so understandingly the place was packed. Thus, the buffet had a very long line up. Estimated wait time was an astonishing 2-3 hours. (In actuality it was around 1 and a half hour wait time.) To curb this wait time, they had a nifty system in place where only one person of the party you came with is required to wait in line. Wish they had a pager buzzer system though, that would be way better. The buffet line was so long it went right through the middle of the casino floor and slot machines were literally arms length away from you. Props to the casino staff who kept the queue organized and moving along smoothly. They had an actual dj playing VERY catchy pop music all night right beside the line up so at least the long wait was entertaining. I would have happily danced in the line buuut i'd save myself the embarrassment for another time. An interesting rule is that large bags are not permitted in the buffet area. I've been to lots of buffet places and this is certainly the first i've seen this rule. Guess they had some unauthorized take home foodies here! As for the food, most of it tasted mediocre. The actual main course food selection was pretty limited compared to other buffets restaurants. Maybe about 8 or 9 in total. You got a few assortments of appetizer plain bread rolls and flat bread. 2 selections of soup available at the time was chicken noodle and butternut squash. You got your main carbs like mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, seasoned white rice, and spaghetti. Spaghetti was pretty standard and didn't taste like much of anything. The mac and cheese was dry, old, and tasteless. I'd skip it. The mashed potatoes did not have any gravy on the side and they had really little herbs inside as it was pretty plain. I didn't like it. The garlic bread was not great because they really didn't put enough of the garlic paste on top so taste was lacking. The seasoned white rice didn't look that appetizing so I just skipped that. They also got steam broccoli and cauliflower which tasted like what you expected to be. Your main proteins are assorted garlic herb grilled chicken, steamed fish fillet, lobster tails, and prime rib. The garlic herb grilled chicken was actually not bad. The herbs on it gave it quite a bit of flavor. The lobster tails were actually kinda good! I'd say they were the main attraction of the buffet. It's certainly not the freshest lobster tails but they were thoroughly cooked and the tails were all intact. The prime rib were pretty standard. Not much fat which is nice but it tasted all right. I liked that they actually had Au jus and melted butter available for the lobster and the prime rib. The sauces really improved the taste. Lobsters become pretty tasty after you dip them into the melted butter by the way. Dessert selection was decent. You got vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Lots of toppings were available like peanuts, strawberry sauce, sprinkles, M&M's, Oreo crumbs, and chocolate bar crumbs. They had a choice of regular Ice cream cone or sweet waffle cones. I made myself a strawberry ice cream sundae in a bowl with most of the toppings and it was pretty good! If that's not enough desserts, a decent of selection of cakes are available: cheese cake, pina colada cake, classic chocolate cake, classic vanilla cake, black forest cake. In my opinion, only the black forest cake was good. The rest are pretty meh. The salad bar had several types of lettuce available and plenty of sauce toppings. Fresh fruit such as grapes, watermelon, honeydew, and cantaloupe are available. They had a couple random fresh bean dishes too. As for drinks, there's a pop machine and coffee machine with plenty of selections available. The actual decor of the dining area is pretty minimal. It almost felt like I was at a modern hospital cafeteria. Light brown wood sectional dividers, tables, and chairs, and a muted greyish carpet floor. Lots of booth sectionals for larger people or parties. Washrooms are located right inside the buffet area which is nice so you don't have to go all the way back to the casino area. They're pretty clean, automated, and modern. Staff are actually nice and efficient. They thanked me for giving my dirty plates when I was done and thanked me for coming when I left the buffet. They were very fast to collect my dirty plates when they passed by and saw that my plates were empty. So good service overall. For $9.99 per person, i'd say i got my money's worth. Food overall is nothing to write home so I won't go out of my way to come here again...well, maybe once a while just for those tasty lobster tails on butter. Mmm read more

I went to the Lobster & Prime Rib buffet on a Friday evening. My amazing friend waited from about 12pm so that we could get in quickly once the buffet opened at 5. We managed to sit down by 6:30pm. Each person waiting in line can save up to 5 additional seats. First, the price. $9.99 for all you can eat? For any all you can eat, that's amazing! But for lobster & prime rib of fairly good quality? Holy crap! No wonder the lineup is crazy. Staff were very friendly and pleasant to talk to, which was great because I went back again, and again, and again. I ate primarily the lobster tail but took a little bite of the prime rib (AMAZING!), a pasta salad and some dessert. All great, well above average for a buffet. It wasn't a huge selection but who cares with lobster tail being served. They kick you out at 1.5 hours. It seemed everyone was staying the full 1.5 hours. Overall, super awesome experience and delicious food. The friend who waited 6.5 hours said he wanted to do it again the next week. He thought it was well worth the wait. read more

I went for lobster tail and prime beef buffet. The lineup was huge for around 3.5 hours. It was a frustrating experience. One has to stand in line up for this time. I was tired and didn't gamble. I generally go to Silver Reef Casino across the border. This casino has 10 times more people at any given time but there's no lineup at all. You get a Puck for the buffet and can go ahead and play games in casino and enjoy a drink. When the number is up the puck rings and one can go to buffet. Elements Casino's staff was friendly but the customer service policies and businesses skills are very poor. Customer should be encouraged to play rather than wait in a line up for hours. I will never go back to this casino again. read more

I come here about once a month with my brother or parents for a weekend breakfast/brunch. Once in a while I'll come for the dinner buffet. You can't come here expecting a Vegas style buffet. There is a solid, basic selection of food here. It has a decent selection of a few salads...Caesar, spinach/quinoa/feta with strawberries, and the standard macaroni, coleslaw and bean salads. Dessert is small cakes and pies and squares. My dad likes the frozen ice milk that comes in chocolate or vanilla or a swirl. The ice milk also comes with a selection of toppings. The hot buffet for brunch is scrambled eggs (flavourless, made from a carton), bacon (tasty but tastes deep fried), sausages (I think they're deep fried too...they're gross), fried potatoes, veggies, meats, a waffle / pancake bar with whip cream and lots of toppings. I usually just get some eggs and bacon and veggies. But if you want to go all out on an "everything breakfast", there is something for everyone. Coffee is weak - I like my coffee strong, so I just drink tea and water here. You'll never leave hungry, and it's never been busy when we've gone at 10:30am on a weekend. Came here the other night for the Asian dinner buffet. Standard westernized Chinese food. Heavy on the carbs..but there was enough chicken, steamed fish, and veggies to keep me full. The Asian dinner buffet is $18.99 per person so not really worth it to me. I can see others who like rice and noodles and lots of breaded meats with sweet sauces loading up their plates and getting value out of it though! All in all, If you're looking for cheap and good and want to load up your plate with a variety of different dishes, this is a decent place, and I like my monthly get togethers here! read more

2016.06.30 I thought I'd try out the Diamond Buffet for the first time. I was not disappointed. The quality of food was great, the staff were super friendly, and it wasn't a packed madhouse like at the Starlight. There is plenty of seating with ample space to walk and between tables. No carb laden offerings. Everything was hot/cold as required. An ice cream machine that actually worked with a good selection of toppings. Don't forget to get your $2 off coupon from guest services. We went for the $9.99 prime rib and lobster special. We spent so long in the line for the buffet, we didn't have an opportunity to actually gamble our money away in the casino. Our experience with the staff was mixed: The people ushering us around in the queue made us feel like livestock when barking orders at us, while the restaurant staff were very welcoming. So at the end of the day, we got our fill of lobster but we were barely aware we were in a casino since the queue and lobster was our only experience. read more

Thought we'd try this new buffet out for breakfast and were hugely disappointed. Waited to be seated (you pay at the start of your meal) for 10 minutes. Some staff were discussing something and saw us but never helped us or alerted anyone to seat us. Food is school cafeteria quality (cheap & processed) and not hot. Not many options if you didn't want salad or Costco type dessert squares (for breakfast?!). Just gross. read more

Here Thursday night for two with one free buffet pass. Even with that It was not worth the money. The Mac and cheese had no flavour at all, the salmon was dry, choice of slices of ham were more like scraps, also noticed a few people leaving the ravioli on their plates. There were no mugs for the coffee and even though a few people asked why Diet Pepsi was not working and the said they would fill it right up it was not done in the 45 minutes we waited. So...after waiting in a half hour line up to get in, to confusion at the cashier to pay, cash was only accepted at the other till. Some people were seated, some given direction and other nothing. THe cold buffett is laid out wrong, unless you put your dressing on your plate then the salad on top. Only one soup choice and even that is the cheapest one. Supposed to be BBQ theme, the Roast was so fatty I passed on it, the Chicken was Fried and not BBQ, the pulled pork was in alot of liquid. The Corn on the cob was nice idea, but wasn't good tasting, Boiled potatoes, would of though a Baked goes with the BBQ theme. The Pudding cup, or should i say thimble are too tiny. I have tried the breakfast buffet when they had it, Tried the lunch buffet a few weeks ago and just tried the dinner tonight. I am sad for the Chefs, the Management and Element Corporate.
