I'm quite a bit fan of Mongolian BBQ and my partner recommended this place. The food itself was good, but didn't blow me away. For the price point, I think it's quite fair. Service was very fast, and as a bonus you could watch them cook your food on the circular stovetop they have. The restaurant interior is fairly run of the mill, nothing good or bad to say about it. Overall I would go back here, the food was good and I didn't leave hungry.

Food is ok, though not a super wide selection of components. No seafood components. Nice that there are screens with sports-kids liked it.

I am starting to like this place, especially when I feel ravenous and want something substantial. I like the flexibility of either getting a bowl or the AYCE. I usually get the bowl when I am not very hungry. It is still very filling though I wish I know how to stack it to have more spinach. The leafy greens always seem to disappear after cooking. When I do not want to deal with piling on the food, I will do the AYCE. It just means I can get more vegetables and try different sauces too. So far I keep adding the Mongo Bongo sauce with a bit of szechuan sauce and ginger and garlic sauce. I will want to try the thai coconut sauce, black pepper, hoisin, and korean bbq sauce too. The variety of food is quite standard with thinly shaved frozen or semi frozen beef, pork and chicken. Then there are 3-4 types of noodles. Vegetables and other aromatics. I like the beef/chicken with broccoli, zucchini, bean sprouts, carrots, onions and sauce. I am always amazed by those who can really pile on the food, especially the noodles without them toppling over. I saw a table ordered the wings and they smelled really good, I will want to order that next time too. Oh, the meal comes with rice and soup (it changes).

AYCE Lunch Review A decent neighborhood joint for Stir-Fry where your dish ends up around 30% bigger in size than Hon's or other Hong Kong/style cafe stir/frys that are mostly fillers of onions and bell pepper. You fill your bowl with veggies, meat, toppings and sauces then label it with your table number and name. The stir-fry Chef Will take care of everything. This sounds all easy but in reality depending on the chef, meat can get overcooked (beef was so tough!). This is especially the case when the chef is dealing with a line up of stir-frys. Meat selection consists of thinly sliced beef, pork and chicken; veggies are bean sprouts, cabbages, julienned carrots, broccoli florets, spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, zucchini and corn. Because this is the "stir-fry heaven", I have to grade this place of its stir-fry quality. Stir-fry meat and vegetables may look easy but it's very hard to perfect. Meat gets cooked at different rate than veggies, and pork being most forgiving, chicken and beef both gets dried and tough if over heated. If you pair a hard to cook veggies like broccoli with beef, most likely the chef just throw them all on the grill and by the time the broccoli is done the beef is over cooked (mine was). Pork and cabbage is the best combination since the sugar juice from cabbage soften the pork. The sauces are mostly yummy high sugar variety: Bongo House sauce, black bean garlic, bbq, teriyaki etc. for diabetics and keto people, go for plain sesame oil and bring your own sugar-free sauce ( I brought my own Everything Chinese Stir-fry seasonings with sesame, gluten free msg free sugar free soy sauce and sesame dipping sauce). After I ate three big plates I did not feel a bit tired or sleepy like other reviewers mentioned. My husband did feel the MSG hit immediately so skip all the sauces if you are sensitive to that stuff. When there are lots of people it takes a while to get your dish cooked so the smart thing some people do is to use two bowls: one for veggies and one for meat when queuing for the stir-fry (none of the regular bowl piling rules apply to AYCE). Overall a very good value AYCE in terms of quantity of food but lacks variety. Could use even 1 simple dessert like orange wedges or simple carrot cake from Superstore. Service was excellent! The young man serving us was super courteous, and honest when I asked him about msg in sauces. He was observant and always fill out water glasses and replace my luke warm water with a hot cup without me asking. I am a regular dineout person and from a health and value perspective this AYCE meal is one of the best that I feel about and I highly recommend it to people on Ketogenic diet or other low-carb diet. Tips: arrive before lunch to avoid the crowd and end up spending lots of time waiting for stir-fry. Very good service, i like the idea to choose all the ingredients for cooking by myself, and the taste is good, definitely come back here next time

Can't go wrong with places where one can destroy oneself for $15 or so before tax and tip. Parking is available on the side streets, a short walk away. The inside is amazingly classy for a Mongolian place. It looks like it may have been a lounge in a past life. Staff were friendly but a bit slow. They could use another person working here. The premise is pretty simple here. Take a bowl and pile on as much as you can. Interestingly enough, there is also a 6" rule here - the bowl cannot be stacked higher than 6" above the top. Not sure how that's even possible, but someone must've gotten really creative in the past. As the food here shrinks by half when cooked, it really is one's best interest to simply go for AYCE for a few bucks more. Now one can have 5 bowls and not worry about any height limit. With knowledge of that shrinkage, the obvious solution is to ensure one brings 2 full bowls of raw food to the cooking station, resulting in 1 big bowl of cooked food. The food is definitely of decent (but not life changing) quality, slightly above that of a food court. The selection isn't the largest compared to the competition, but it's always nice to know that one won't leave hungry. The AYCE (and maybe non-AYCE) option also comes with a bowl of soup and rice, which is nice. I would recommend skipping the rice in lieu of more grilled food. Not sure if I would come back as there are plenty of other restaurants in the area, but I did leave happy and satisfied.

I'm surprised Fraser Health hasn't shut this place down for violating food safety rules. $20 for half a bowl of mediocre stir fry is not worth it. The menu depicted various grilled meats and lots of veggies, with rice or noodles, for a reasonable price. (Most everything else at the other places were fried. And I wasn't in the mood for Panda Express). I ordered a teriyaki chicken with minimal rice. This dish cost $5.99 (the cheapest meal offered) and I usually eat 1/3-1/2 of any given meal, anyway. The lady who took my order was friendly but quite the character, with her "wig" of red yarn braided in two large side braids, and the "cook" was a nice guy who was personable enough. My dish was presented in a styrofoam box (even though I said I was going to eat it in the food court there). As for the food itself, I inspected the chicken pieces and they were cooked through and through. There were some veggies (carrots and cabbage, mostly). And, as I requested, I got only a bit of rice. Unfortunately, everything was doused in a teriyaki sauce that I wasn't too keen on (mostly because there was so much of it. But also it just wasn't my cup of tea). I ate 1/3 and threw the rest out. And I felt super queasy and had major GI issues for the next few hours (I'll spare the details but, suffice it to say, it was NOT a fun drive back to Vancouver for me). Other than a Starbucks coffee, this was the only thing I had all day, so the chances are pretty high that this food didn't sit well with me. Not sure if it was me or the food, but I'm not going to take a chance and eat here again.

We truly appreciated how welcoming and helpful they were. We were impressed by the wide variety of fresh and healthy ingredient options. There are so many fresh toppings and sauces to choose from, and it was so easy to fully customize our bowl from base to protein to toppings. It is not a preset menu spot, which makes it even more fun. We also loved how vegetarian- and vegan-friendly the options are. The portion size was surprisingly generous (more than enough for us)! For the quality and price, it was honestly very impressive. Our bowls were served hot straight from the grill, and we felt like we were watching a cooking show as the staff prepared everything right in front of us. We could literally feel the heat from where we were standing. Huge thumbs up to the hardworking team managing both prep and grilling. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful without being overly greasy. We even had leftovers for lunch the next day, and it still tasted amazing. We also loved their healthy drink options and frozen yogurt. Learning that their entire menu is seed-oil free and refined-sugar free made us appreciate the concept even more. The space is clean, bright, and has a super welcoming atmosphere. It is a great option when you want something warm, hearty, and customizable instead of cold salads or typical fast food. Hesitant. I kinda not know what my final bill is, they ran a promo this summer and the base soup was included. Sometimes in the evening I get charged for base soup. I recently got charged for base soup, as I don't get offered the menu anymore as I just shout out "house soup" when I sit down. Also, the random few times I buy a few packaged of hot pot mixes, somehow I have tipped on top of that too. Like I need to be better at not doing that, or ask the staff to put that on the next transaction. Service. Mainly great.
