My husband selected a delicious looking assortment of ingredients, including meats, fresh vegetables, sauces, and savory noodles, and then the staff cooked it up on their iron grill. This is kinda an interesting one for me. I haven't had Mongolian grill in probably 10 years, so I'm not sure what I can compare this to. It is essentially a semi self-served food court experience. You go in, top up an empty bowl with thinly sliced meat, veggies, noodle, sauce and they stir fry it for you on a huge flat hotplate. All together, there are maybe 15 items you can choose from, with another 8 types of sauce you can mix and match with. I guess people go in feeling it's more of an interactive experience. With a little bit of strategy, you can squeeze in a couple more ounces of food. Food was okay. I mean the ingredients were clean.. I guess? Similar to a salad bar, or a subway, or a poke bar, there's not really any skill involved in cooking these. I even mixed in my own sauce, so they literally just had to make sure nothing was raw or burnt. The presentation after things are cooked, would be considered underwhelming. (just look at the images) For the amount of food you get, the price is fair. But would I look forward to going back there again? Probably not. I went at 4:30 for "dinner". Despite the awkward hour, it was nice that I wasn't the only one there. Food looks and tastes very fresh. The food prep area is clean. They have noodles you can put on but also give you an ice cream scoop of rice. At $13 for a regular, wish they had better protein options like lamb and shrimp. Had lunch to this Mongolian stir fry place and my experienced was very good. The place is a bit busy but service is still fast and staff are friendly too. Veggies are fresh and lots of selections for sauces. But I wish they have shrimp. Rice and spring are included in their serving. read more

This place is pretty good. But it all depends on you! You make your own bowl and your own sauce as well. If you are not creative or food savvy you will not appreciate this establishment. IMO I tend to put in a butt load of meat in first. Then go for the small noodles. Sprinkle on the veggies with finesse. And to top it off the sauce. I tend to follow the instructed chef special sauce. But I double down the quantity because I like mine with more sauce, not dry. read more

Most grils i have been to they put it in a bowl with broth. Here the put it on a plate and add 2 scoops of rice and 2 spring rolls. So beside having a lot of food to start with they add more. And the price can not be beat. They have a lot of choice for spices and flavors. Not being from the erea we stop in when ever we are in town. It is always busy. While we are there it is alway busy. A near by place is alway empty witch is a sign to to stay away. Never eat ar a resturant where the parking lot is enpty. read more

Great honest fresh Mongolian style cooking. Even if they use freshly frozen meats, I would highly recommend this place. Instead of the traditional weighted portion you get to fill your big bowl with whatever you like for less then $11. Want more? Definitely not as good as the more popular downtown location. Food is not bad though. A lot of frozen meat products (as usual) used which I am not a fan but veggies are fresh! Took a really long time it felt to get my dish prepared even though it looked pretty dead. If you're not short on time and want to get your eat on try the "all you can eat" option. About $15. Walked in last night after hearing some good things from friends about this place. Food quality looked good and smelled great. Place was fairly busy for 7:30. However....almost immediately after walking in, we were approached by one of the workers. Who proceeded to remind us that they were closing at 8....half hour away....this was said to us about 3 times in a row.....we then proceeded to get bowls to grab food...then we were informed that there was 'No Sharing' this was made very very clear to us.... Because of this atrocious customer service I never had a chance to try the food, as we immediately waked out and will never return. read more

Love the food, so good for your body because you make your own food to be grill in front of you. The price is one of the best for a restaurant for 11.99 for lunch or 13.99 for dinner is for all you can eat. The staff at the Mongolian are one of the best you can get. No longer all you can eat. So the long line and greasy people in the line aren't worth putting up with any more. Also the cleanliness isn't that great. It has the feeling of a high school cafeteria. We weren't told that it was no longer all you can eat till after our first bowls were cooked. I had planned on going back up for more so didn't feel the need to load up. Anyways we paid full price for half bowls. Left with the feeling of being ripped off and hungry. Cashier staff has gone down hill! Used to be a super sweet older Asian lady that was really friendly and great to talk to. New staff is horrendous - they're rude & ignorant with zero customer service. Watched them pick and choose who they weigh and charge extras to some and not others who were the same amount or more, touched the food ungloved and were just generally not good to deal with. We used to go regularly and loved dealing with the other staff, now we won't be going back and will be telling others to avoid as well. Such a shame.. read more

Veggies are fresh and even without the all you can eat the prices are very reasonable. There is a really nice lady there who is very helpful and kind. Yes it is true the meat is frozen however this keeps it fresh. Veggies look delicious, crips and they have a large variety.I rather go here than spend the same amount of money on a greasy burger joint. Went here today and found raw chicken within the onions, first of all there's an issue of the onions being not kept at the proper temp to keep meat, second the spinach was moldy and third the mushrooms were not washed. I asked them several times to replace the onions while I was there and talked to 2 people about it, nothing was done and there appeared to be no understanding why this was an issue. This is an awesome restaurant. You won't find fresher food anywhere else! Their selection is terrific. You start by taking a bowl and then add your food. There are two kinds of noodles to choose from. As you move along the food counter, cafeteria style, you get to lots of freshly chopped veggies. These include: cabbage, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, green pepper, celery, carrots, cilantro, baby spinach leaves, little corns, green onions, black olives, pineapple, broccoli.... Then come the sauces! These include garlic broth, ginger broth, black bean sauce, hoisin sauce, sweet & sour sauce, sesame seed oil, to name a few! They recommend 5 or 6 scoops!! Now that you've chosen your food, they stir fry it for you on their grill. Add a beverage and wait at your table for your food to appear! Super reasonable prices for some great food! I made my way through the line adding things to my bowl carefully so as not to end up with a very expensive meal, but was told before I handed my bowl over to be cooked that they do not charge by weight and that I should add more. I definitely did! Three bowl sizes: kids, regular, and large, each with their own set price and an additional $3 if you go over a certain weight for each size. The regular bowl was only around $12 for dinner and I left perfectly full and under the weight limit judging by how piled how other people's bowls were. The mix and match sauces were fun, and they have some recipe cards posted to help you create certain flavours. Was disappointing there was no seafood, just chicken, pork, and beef, but for the amount the meal cost in the end I can't complain. A scoop of rice and two spring rolls were included with my meal, and with cheaper prices for lunch you can be sure I'll be back! read more

This WAS my favourite go to Mongolie place. They used to offer all you can eat at a reasonable price for excellent food. Now they have removed all you can eat, and replaced it with some unnecessarily complicated price by bowl size (not by weight) with a tacky 3$ charge on top if they deem your bowl "overfilled".... Don't get me wrong, food quality is excellent, but it's just not worth the price anymore when you can go to POCO for an all you can eat that is just as good and offers more meat options. read more
