I told the server and she said she would tell the kitchen. Then came back with my check, charging me the full amount for this meal. I suggested to her that it didn't make sense to charge me for inedible food. "That would require the manager," she said. And then she just walked away. And still she did nothing. I thought I would go find the manager but found a huge line at the hostess podium and didn't have time to wait. So I left. Can't recommend this place. read more

So impressed with this place. The efficiency of the restaurant is noticeable, but that didn't mean the quality of food or care was compromised. Madison was our waitress and she was so cheerful and attentive. I had the pancakes and added blueberries and granola. So good! The potatoes were so flavorful. My partner had the fried chicken and French toast and he said it was a bit bland but it hit the spot because it was filling (after an early morning hike). Went there Sunday morning 8 AM Nov 3, sat at the counter for breakfast the girl that just got on her shift treated me with incredible rudeness . I left the restaurant without ordering and will never go back. The restaurant needs to pay attention to the college drop outs they hire, and test them and train them for people skills. There is nothing special about scrambled eggs to pay S30 dollars , drive a while to get there only to be treated with rudeness. Outstanding service. We were sat in less than 10 minutes and food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Mimosas were 99cents with the entree and you can have up to 3! That was a steal for me. My wife and I came here after a hike through Eldorado Park, absolutely stunning. It was Sunday so it was busy for brunch. We ordered a few drinks which were quick and tasty. Once we were sat we ordered an eggs Benedict, breakfast tacos, and a White Buffalo Pancake. My wife enjoyed the side of potatoes and the eggs. I enjoyed the tacos with pastor and the pancake was perfectly sweet there was no need for syrup. The rice and beans that came with the tacos were absolutely terrible but you can't get it all right especially if you're a restaurant in Colorado. read more

We were in Boulder and decided to try the Buff after a friend had recommended it. Upon walking in, I realized the restaurant had been on an episode of Man vs Food which I used to watch. We were seated immediately and a waiter came to take our drink orders. The drinks came out quickly and so did our food. I went with the saddlebags. It was definitely enough food for 2 and I managed to eat about half of my food. It was excellent and I've never thought of bacon in my pancakes. Our waiter was super friendly and we talked with him for a couple of times throughout our quick meal. We were out of there in right at 30 minutes. The restaurant is clearly poor as it was fairly jay, but I still was seated almost immediately. Booths & tables were plenty of space. Parking lot was a little tough however. I ordered the saddlebags griddle. It was 2 griddles filled with bacon pieces, then topped with 2 eggs. Plenty of food! I'm typically not a pancake person, but ordered this after some discussion with the server. It was tasty foe sure. It didn't disappoint. Hold up, $0.99 Bloody Mary/mimosa/tequila sunrise? The glass was obviously not large but that's a great deal! **it is only up to 3 drinks though** I got huevos rancheros and it was SO GOOD. We had an amazing brunch here awhile back and I'd definitely come back when we're in the Boulder area. This place is obviously a favorite as they had a big group of people waiting at 8am on a Saturday! Thankfully they are a big place and move very quick so we were seated without a reservation within 10min. Shockingly, we were even eating within 10minutes of sitting down. They are crazy fast and we were overwhelmed by how quickly the food came. I got eggs with sausage and pancakes the lemon Pecan ones and the fiancé got the huevos rancheros. The food was cooked well and tasted great. The pancakes were delicious and I'm picky about them normally. I also had a latte and it was the largest thing I'd ever seen, makes since why it was $6. Based on the description I thought I was prepared but I wasn't. The sandwich was HUGE! Full of blt goodness and lots of melted cheese. Truly, unless you are ravenous you could share this with someone. It was really good and the side salad was also tasty and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place and if you are a college student I would 100% check it out. This sandwich ran around $11/$12 and was massive. I wasn't impressed with this place, we had to wait ten minutes for a table and when we were sat all the tables around us were empty ?? Not enough staff? Weeded? Anyway I had just said I hadn't had any bad tap water in Colorado and there was a jug of iced water with lemon on our table for us already us, no glasses though - our server had to get us two hot ones fresh out of potwash -- on to my point - the water tasted off - whether it was he got glasses or the lemon or the water had been sat out too long ??? I dunno, but wasn't enjoyable. My food companion had the corn beef hash egg bennys which he really enjoyed. The potatoes served on both of our dishes were great. I had the chimi pollo, a breakfast chimichanga basically, if you have ever been to First Watch, they have the same dish but The Buff's is served with black beans and rice - I would have rather had more potatoes and topped with queso and green pork chile. However what ruined the entire dish was the quality of chicken used it in, it tasted like Tyson's frozen microwave chicken - it was nasty - I picked the chicken out and didn't eat it - it was brown! Terrible quality of chicken, it really put me off the dish. Service was decent, she did drop the check while we were still eating, which I don't appreciate. When in Boulder, I'll go elsewhere for breakfast. read more
