We loved this place they served great food. However, if they used buttermilk pancakes rather than sprinkling powdered sugar on pancakes it would be much better. Pancakes were bland & flavorless I was really disappointed everything else was really yummy! A must have for breakfast are the Buttermilk Biscuits they were pillowy, warm & so soft! My mom got Chicken fried steak & fries & shesaid it was very good. My hubby got Migas & daid Salsa verde was good & spicy! I recommend this place but bring your pocket book its a lil pricey as is any other place nowadays! Oh & I do want to say that our Waiter was Jeff & he was fairly new & I just wanted to say he was professional, kind, and very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. So, he's a great waiter & my hubby tipped him $20 for his hardwork & quick service! The other ladies that helped him also were great just didn't get their names to have thanked them & commended them. This is such a refreshingly bright restaurant to enter. At once you are awakened by the white walls, wraparound windows and beautiful artwork! My sone was getting physical therapy down the way so my granddaughter & I walked in around 7:15am. Found it pretty empty, so we were able to monopolize the staff's time for a minute here & there while we asked questions, lol. We ordered lattes ($6 each) at the bar and sat there and enjoyed the view out the window. Before we knew it, my son was finished so we went to pick him up. By the time we got back - 10 minutes - there were lots of people dining already! We had checked out the scrumptious menu on the way in and were anxious to try it out. We sat at a table to make it easier for my son & his walker. It's a small place, but no one bumped into the walker and the ramp outside was placed just right for parking. Our server was with us in seconds and offered fresh orange juice ($2.50ea), which my guests asked for but I wanted water after my latte. The juice, they said was amazing. I ordered the migas ($13). They were very good, the eggs were moist and fluffy, there were sliced jalapenos mixed in for extra umph and the tortillas were hot. I normally don't care for potatoes at breakfast, but these potatoes were amazing! I couldn't decide whether I wanted red or green sauce so I asked the server to bring me both. I was charged $.50 for the extra one. My son ordered french toast ($13) with strawberries, pecans & nutella, dusted with powdered sugar. It was a hearty serving & he loved them. He added an egg for $2.00 and then ordered potatoes ($3.50) to go, since they were SO good. My granddaughter ordered the french toast with bananas & nutella. I sampled a bite - yum! Decided to stop in after running the half in Irving to put some calories in our bodies. First thought, this place is LOUD. Luckily they have patio seating with huge umbrellas which make it cozy and quiet. Service was prompt and efficient and our food was delish. Perfect for simple a week day brunch but quality and enough variety to be a go to spot on the weekend. The one thing I will note is Yelp has reservations up to 2:30pm, but they actually close at 2:30. My friend and I arrived for our 2pm reservation and found this out on the spot. Thankfully the team was very gracious and treated us just as well as if we'd arrived at opening. We both had the "Old Fashioned" but customized our own style. I had chicken sausage and pancakes. I'm always pleased to find restaurants that offer breakfast proteins that are not beef/pork (they serve both turkey bacon as well) and sweet options with their basic breakfast vs just toast. My friend had bacon, potatoes and added a biscuit which she really enjoyed! I loved that they have a fresh squeezed orange juice machine at their "bar" area. We ordered the mimosa flight and I love that our server didn't just leave the bottle and juice but got us started with our first glass - with just enough juice I look forward to trying other items on the menu! read more

Decided to stop in The Brunch District today, after grocery shopping in the same strip. We loved the atmosphere here, the modern decor, abstract art work, and the notably fancy lighting! They have a great selection of lunch or breakfast, and a cocktail list which we didn't opt for today but definitely next time. Service was great, the food came out pretty quickly and was delicious. The Benny's Benedict was full of flavor, and the brisket was great. The 'mini' pancakes as a side option definitely weren't that mini but SOO good! Ended up here after church this past Sunday and it was packed but the wait was only about 25 minutes for a party of eight. We couldn't wait for the other table to get up for the tables to be pushed together so we sat 4by4 in 2 booths. Everyone loved their food. Personally, ordered the sunshine sandwich and upgraded my side to pancakes instead of the grits or toast. It was so good and filling that I could barely finished it. Let me start this review off with saying that I am a breakfast lover. I will determine if a breakfast place is good based on how well they cook their potatoes. Now, this place gets 5/5 stars because they managed to make the potatoes SO CRISPY. It's already hard to make a potato cut the size they have and have it crispy on all sides. I also ordered the Cajun Shrimp benny and it tasted good but also tasted like it was missing something, maybe a little kick... I don't know. The matcha latte could be a little stronger too, just tasted whole milk with a splash of matcha which does bring it down to a 4/5. I've been wanting to try this place so today I stopped in and gave it a try. I ordered a mimosa and the chicken fried steak breakfast, the food looked amazing however when I went to cut the chicken fried steak it was difficult to cut and wasn't very tender at all also lacked seasoning, I'm not sure what type of meat they used as it was thicker than your typical cube steak but it was edible. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were great. Mimosa had a great flavor and the champagne they use is good. I met a friend here a couple of months ago and have been meaning to write a review because this place is wonderful! I ordered the Cali omelette without the bacon and a side of breakfast potatoes. The omelette was amazing! So incredibly fresh and the portion was huge - I saved half for breakfast the next day. And the potatoes were hands-down the best breakfast potatoes I'd ever had. They were perfectly lightly crisp on the outside, but airy and fluffy on the inside. I've never had breakfast potatoes that good. Service was great and the ambiance was light and cheery. The restaurant has a very casual ambiance with additional outdoor seating provided as well.
