Spaghetti carbonara
Temina C.

I came back this time with a large group of 10 during the Christmas season and we were seated in 10 mins on a busy day. Our server was fantastic. He was attentive to everyone including the kids. Everyone's meals were fantastic as well and they were extremely hot. I highly recommend coming during brunch or lunch time so you can try different food items on their menu. All the pasta dishes are fantastic but the carbonara is 10/10! Perfectly seasoned and the cream sauce was perfect! Overall I enjoy coming here when I visit the galleria mall!

Lunch bento, Steak Au Poivre* fries, clam chowder and a side Caesar Salad, no cap everything was bland
Candy R.

I've dined here quite a few times and I can definitely tell that the food quality has gone down, the lunch special I had today was extremely bland, the steak literally had zero flavor the clam chowder was mid and the Caesar salad wasn't good either. I was low-key disappointed I hate paying for bad food. My waiter was nice he was not the problem but the chef definitely needs to be talked to because the food was very mediocre. Wont be back to dine in, just for happy hour drink.

Great location in the Dallas Galleria. This place is large and is usually busy. The food menu is extremely large (cheesecake factory large). The food portions are very large and the service is top tier. I would recommend this location

Gluten free Pasta Carbonara with Chickencarbonara
Lexi S.

I love the location in Vegas, so we had to stop by this one. Massive menu, but they do every dish very well. Love the big booths, it's clean and you can talk to people without it being too loud. Casual atmosphere but better (big portions) of food. Chicken and waffles 10/10 I had the gluten free pasta carbonara and it was great! I enjoyed the salad with ranch on the side and some fries. Everyone else ordered sandwiches and said they were very pleased! Their Arnold Palmer with 1/2 sweet tea and lemonade is delicious!! Service is always great. They took take of our large party of 10 - walked right in no problems and sat!

So disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but not anymore. I recently visited after not being there for a few years, and the experience was nothing like I remembered. The salad was dry, my sides were forgotten, and although I wasn't charged for the fries I ordered, they arrived dry and tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. The customer service was okay, but overall the quality has changed drastically. I won't be returning. I know the Houston location has already closed, and while this place has been around for years, it's sad to see the food and business go downhill. I've had three birthday dinners here in the past, so this really feels like a goodbye to what it once was.

Avacado eggs Benedict
Adam H.

Came here Saturday morning with some friends. Their menu is very very extensive- so something to please everyone. Ordered the Avacado eggs benefits- my portion was a bit small. But everyone else's meals seemed rightly portioned. The cafe oddly remind me of Cheesecake Factory! Overall great spot !

Grand Lux is a sister restaurant with Cheesecake Factory, so you'll see some menu items that are shared between the two restaurants. And if you like Cheesecake Factory, you'll enjoy this restaurant as well. The food is equal. Where it's different, the decor. The Grand Lux is just that - it's grand! The decor is designed to make you feel like you're walking back in time to the beautiful 1920s. The lights, the walls, the ceiling are all so beautiful. And it's spacious, so no one feels like your sitting on top of your neighbor while eating. The service is really good. You're seated quickly (on the off hours - if it's during the busy time expect to wait). And the servers are always polite and knowledgeable about their menu. It's a great place for brunch and lunch.

Aperol Spritz
Kelsey E.

We were shopping in the Galleria and stopped in for a cocktail and a snack at happy hour. We sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us and we ordered Aperol spritz's and those were delicious. My friend is gluten-free and tried to ask about some options because the only thing marked on the menu that says gluten-free was a cheeseburger, but they looked like they had a lot more options that would've been able to be suitable (she was trying to ask questions) and he just wasn't helpful at all and pretty much dismissive. She totally gets that this is not a gluten-free kitchen so she just decided to skip the food, no worries. I ordered the potstickers and they were okay. It wasn't a bad experience but it was just okay.

Buffalo Chicken Bitesâ„¢ Crispy Fried Cheese Slow Roasted Beets General Tso's Cauliflower
Vivien H.

I read some reviews about long wait times, but our food arrived before our cocktails! Hahaha--that was unexpected. We stopped in for a random Thursday lunch to celebrate my friend's graduation--had a blast! Our server? Nothing special, but did the job. However, the food runner--a delightful dark-haired girl--was all smiles and bright energy. We both prefer lots of appetizers over a single main dish, so that's what we did! We saw a few highly praised dishes, so we went for them. We got four apps, thinking we'd have room for more--but knowing we wanted that molten lava cake, we had to stop ourselves (sadly). Appetizers We Tried: Beet Salad - Delicious! The only dish that saved us from fried food overload (hahaha). Buffalo Chicken Bites - First one? Loved it! Second one? Still good. Third one? Overwhelming. General Tso's Cauliflower - WOW. Not overcooked--still had a nice bite to it--pleasantly surprised! Crispy Fried Cheese - Holy moly, rich but amazing. Havarti & Fontina in parmesan breadcrumbs? OKAY, YES PLEASE! Complimentary Bread w/ Room-Temp Butter - A win! Not hard butter straight from the fridge--the bread was soft inside, was a bit chewy and had a crunchy crust. Hugo Spritz - Refreshing. Elderflower is our go-to apparently, and the basil + cucumber combo was the perfect touch in this heat. We waited a bit longer for dessert, but it's a baked sweet, so it was expected. Molten Lava Cake - Tasty but fell apart too easily. Flavor? Nice. We wanted to try more dishes but couldn't--so... we HAVE to come back! Coffee Looked Inviting - I don't usually drink it, but if my friend had said yes, I probably would've tried something. Cheesecake Factory Vibes - They even have 5-6 kinds of cheesecake for dessert! Too many restaurants to visit, not enough time! Haha We will return.

Garlic Shrimp Pasta

I love this restaurant. Check out the lunch specials. Very affordable. I always get the Garlic Shrimp Pasta and it comes with a side salad. Delicious. Filling. Chef's kiss. Don't forget to check out the deserts. They have an amazing carrot cake too!

Salmon Picatta

I came here on my birthday for an afternoon visit with several family members and while the atmosphere was nice, the service was extremely slow and our particular server was very inattentive. We received no refills on drinks (nor were we asked) and one of the dishes was somewhat spicy, which makes a beverage refill appreciated. The server seemed to disappear from sight often and was not interested in maintaining the table. The restaurant was not at all busy and the service was very underwhelming. For my first visit to Grand Luxe Cafe as well as an afternoon birthday experience, I was impressed only by the food and the decor.

Grand Lux Burger Melt*
Benjina D.

Solid three stars. Service was great, as was the ambiance. The food is very underwhelming and overpriced for the quality. I wouldn't pay more than $10-$15 per dish for this quality. Also, skip the potato egg rolls - zero flavor and overall unappetizing.

Grilled salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts

I decided to step outside of my usual favorites (I normally go for the Chicken Parmesan or the Cajun Chicken Jambalaya), and I'm so glad I did! This time I tried the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts -- and it did not disappoint. The salmon was perfectly grilled with a beautiful char on top, tender and flaky on the inside, and seasoned just right. It sat on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes that were smooth, buttery, and the perfect comfort-food pairing. The Brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection -- crispy on the outside, flavorful, and not bitter at all. And let's talk about the drink... the cucumber mint lemonade? OMG. So refreshing, light, and perfectly balanced. I honestly couldn't get enough of it. Everything about this meal was delicious. I will absolutely be ordering this again. Safe to say I've found a new go-to!

Even when we weren't sure about which appetizers we wanted she allowed us to split appetizers- a small portion where we got to try the apps. We tried the tenderloin crostini which was delicious. Along with coconut shrimp. The shrimp were ginormous. And the sauces were so good. Our fav was the mango marmalade. The best bread I have ever had in my life!!!! You know how sometimes they bring a roll to the table for the table to share? Not here boyeeeee Each person gets their own roll. I don't even know how to explain this heavenly bread. It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces. The wasabi one was our favorite. You must order the crab cake! My husband got the ribeye rare and said it was the best steak he has had, and he eats a ton of steak. I got their off menu item of carne asada tacos. The meat was sooooo tender. They don't use flank steak they use a tenderloin and it just melts. The mushrooms were Devine. Glad I ordered the carne asada. The adult Mac and cheese was good but just good. Brussels sprouts were good (not the best I have had) but I think I was also just so full by this point. The asparagus is huge!!! Oh the best finisher ever- the peanut butter pie!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a dessert girl and I couldn't stop eating it. First time me and my husband were fighting over the last bite.

First up, the pirogies--holy moly, these little pockets of joy were just unreal. Perfectly soft, stuffed to the brim, and fried up just right. I'm pretty sure if my tasted these, she'd give a polite nod and say, "Not bad, eh?" Then came the pot roast poutine, and let me tell ya--this isn't just food, it's a life experience. You've got those crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds (as they should be, eh!), and gravy so rich it could probably pay rent in Toronto. And then--BAM--tender pot roast on top. I nearly stood up and sang "O Canada," no joke. Now the Canadian Eggs Benedict? Ohhh, beauty. The peameal bacon was thick, juicy, and cooked just right, sittin' pretty under those poached eggs with hollandaise sauce that was smoother than a fresh sheet of ice. Absolute perfection, eh. And don't even get me started on the everyday breakfast. Classic, hearty, and no funny business--just how we like it. Eggs done right, toast that actually tastes like toast (imagine that!), and portions big enough to fuel ya through a full day of shovelin' snow... or, you know, strolling around Dallas. All in all, Maple Leaf Diner absolutely crushed it. Let me tell ya, the service was so fast and smooth, I thought I was dreaming eh. Great food, friendly vibes, and enough Canadian charm to make ya wanna say "sorry" when someone else bumps into you. 10/10, would recommend--now pass the syrup, eh?
