It's been awhile since going to Celebration's but when it comes to good homemade comfort food just go ahead and a trip to Celebration ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is huge/ but I love the different dining rooms to eat in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love that they greet the table with hot fresh cornbread , rolls and muffins ! My lunch companions went in with a quickness . Lucy was on point with drinks , ordering and suggesting with so many sides ! I ended up with the Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and grilled carrots ! Can you say Massive Huge portions.. I asked for a to go container right away / there was no way I was going to finish this meal plus I had filled up on too much bread ( but it was just so good ! My friend pork chop was huge but wasn't cooked completely but Lucy took it back and quickly returned with pork chops cooked to perfection ! Lucy suggested dessert and why not it's all homemade ! Coconut pie, brownie w ice cream on the side and banana pudding ! Can you say feast !! But I already had packed up my Pot roast . The only downside was I was expecting my grandmother's banana pudding but no one can re create her magic but that Brownie was definitely an A +++ [[HIGHLIGHT]]love all the decor and different wall hanging..[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom was spotless - a big thanks to that employee .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also a guy ( the cook) came and apologize for the temperature of the first pork chop !! Well done overall Celebration!!

We went to Celebration for dinner with family during a recent trip to the Big D... venerable old school place, around for decades. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is cool in appearance, stone building, nice outside patio![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The appeal is nostalgia... not good quality food IMHO. The table ordered soup, fried chicken, fried catfish, baked chicken, grilled salmon, and a handful of sides. The lentil soup was very good, but everything else was just OK! None of the food was particularly hot, and with fried food, it's gotta be hot! The veggie sides were warm at best... seemed most of the food was cooked in advance, which allowed for speedy delivery, but quality suffered. Desserts were also just OK, even the kids didn't finish them. Service was great! But, beyond that, our visit was disappointing. The place had received a lot of hype from family. We don't need to go back.

I returned hoping I'd have a better experience but the food is still bland. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong items. I ordered the fried chicken breast with gravy, broccoli, mashed potatoes and they weren't flavorful. It was disheartening but the service was wonderful. Our server was so patient because we had a big party with kids. The best part of lunch was the bread basket. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking can be challenging but if you go at the right time it wont be too crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Definitely not as good as in years past, unfortunately. That said, the French onion soup was excellent - sweet onions with a lot of flavor, the fried okra was even better. Fresh, hot, crispy, and perfectly salty, and the basket of fresh bread had a wide variety and it was all warm. Our server was outstanding. We had a party of 9 and he was on top of it the whole time we were there. Otherwise, the fried catfish was more breading than fish, it was hot but on the soft, almost soggy side, and over cooked. The chicken fried steak also wasn't great. The blueberry cobbler was cold and tasted stale. They did have decaf that tasted reasonably fresh but it wasn't hot.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We went for lunch and it was very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were a party of four and were promptly seated. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. It took a very long time to get our order. I had the pork chop with salad, mashed potatoes, and mixed squashes. The pork chop was a bit dry.

We went to the Flight Museum and since Celebration was nearby and has been on my "want to go" list for a while, we went there for lunch. There was about a 15-20 minute wait, but the bar area was available. We sat at the bar and ate. It was such a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The bartenders/servers were are very friendly and helpful. All of our meals were delicious and we were all happy that we made the decision to have lunch there. The menu is quite extensive and they have a nice, well stocked bar. Definitely a spot I would like to go back to, to try other dishes. The restaurant is pretty large, with lots of little rooms, and there is a nice, large outdoor eating area. Parking is convenient.

Location Just off Inwood and West Lovers lane-University Park area of Northwest Dallas. Parking Large-very large open lot. Atmosphere Family restaurant-numerous private rooms Seating Bar, tables, private rooms. Service Outstanding-we had a super large group-16+ and our servers expertly handled it in a personable and friendly manner. Menu Specials-farm to table fresh-listing local farms and food. A variety of rolls were served-moist and corn filled corn bread, nut muffins, rolls. Butter in packs available-did nothing t taste salty-sweet and tum! We had the rosemary salmon-cooked perfectly-yum! The grilled salmon with almonds was so tender and moist! Did not need tartar sauce-the lemon was enough. The shrimp and grits were beautiful and delish! Dinners served with salad or soup-we had salad-served family style. Serged individual dressing on salad plates. Honey mustard was popular-I had the blue cheese-creamy, not chunky. Dessert was coconut cream pie-so good-we ordered more. Also shared the peach cobbler ala mode. . It was so delish that although we were sharing it, my friend finished it before I could get a second bite! Summary Great location, outstanding farm fresh menu! Love the private room!! Will have to bring my husband back to try! See you there!!

I realize you can order dips and casseroles from catering, but my question is can I order just 1?? I was told you have to order a minimum of 6 , so I can order just 1 of something?

Hi Louise, you can order 1 (or more) casseroles in small or large. The minimum of 6 is required on individual servings of casserole for delivery. Please find the "Market Favorites" on the catering order page and you will see the casseroles to order…

If the market is closed now, how can we order just 1 spinach dip or corn dip, 1 casserole, etc? On the catering site, it seems there is a minimum of 6? Can we not just order 1 of something anymore?

Hi Louise, you can still purchase dips on the Catering page under "Market Favorites." These items need to be ordered by 3 pm for next day pickup. Hope this helps, thank you!

Is there plans to bring back the "Meal for 2" and "Meal for 4" options in the future? What about the Chicken St. Caroline, artichoke dip, spinach dip, chips, sweets, and the nice ladies working there?

Hi Adam, Celebration Market permanently closed in June 2024. With the closure, we are no longer offering the meal for 2 or 4. However, we still offer many of the Market items through Catering to be picked up at the Restaurant. Hope this helps.

Do they have a kids menu?

    We sure do!

What is the thanksgiving special and when are they ready for preorders?

Hi Sienna, great question! Our Thanksgiving Feast menu is available to view on our website at www.celebrationrestaurant.com/market…

Tonight my server, Ary, was very warm, attentive, and knew the menu very well, and offered me excellent recommendations. The happy hour Caesar salad was really great, I think the croutons were made from ciabatta, I couldn't really tell, but they were so delicious. Then I had the chicken Parm and the butterscotch cake, both her recommendations. And I can't believe it is so much food for the amount I paid, I'm going to have some amazing leftovers later. I will definitely be returning, I've had the pizza before, and it is one of the best ever, and I keep hearing about the chicken pot pie, but I haven't tried it yet.

I was initially looking forward to substituting the mashed potatoes for the potato wedges, but I learned that the wedges are no longer offered. Even so, our waitress was gracious enough to let me sample the mashed potatoes, and they were absolutely delicious. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and impeccably maintained, making for a very enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I had a great visit and look forward to returning soon to try the pizza.

Features a compact bar with only 2 screens, which again is preferential versus something loaded to the gills with cheap TCL displays. Menu is simple and direct, with all of what you might expect from an upscale neighborhood bar & grill. The tuna tartare is excellent, but it's more of a dip almost than a traditional imagining. It has jalapeno, heaps of cilantro, and muddled avocado to tie it all together. Very fresh and pleasant. Pastrami sliders were also tasty, but I would venture to say they are a little too bready for an appetizer, but nicely done otherwise. My go to entree is of course either the hanger steak or filet with fries and semi traditional bistro sauce, can't go wrong there. I have only seen 2 deserts on the menu, but there might be some special appearances from time to time. The do not miss item there is the Basque cheesecake. Which is basically a cheese forwards cheesecake without a crust, and somewhat reduced sugar content versus it's American cousins. Very good, and served with a berry coulis. The only trespass I experienced was with the wine list. It's overall somewhat expensive for what's listed, and on my last visit two bottles I had ordered were out of stock. That being said there are good picks here from Premier Cru Chablis to Faust Cabernet Sauvignon.
