This place is a mixed bag. Food is ok. Not spectacular and not bad. Just ok. I had brisket omelette and really liked it. Buddy had meat lovers skillet and said it seemed average at best, a little underwhelming. Coffee fine. Service fine. Environment is poor. Way too cold inside. Seriously, we both remarked it was too cold. Even our food and coffee got cold. Not making that up or exaggerating. Bring a jacket. And there are way too many distracting light fixtures with annoying halogen lights. Hard to read menu with the glare. Ugh, annoying. And there's this cool wooden cube with QR codes for specials. I met a friend here a couple of months ago and have been meaning to write a review because this place is wonderful! I ordered the Cali omelette without the bacon and a side of breakfast potatoes. The omelette was amazing! So incredibly fresh and the portion was huge - I saved half for breakfast the next day. And the potatoes were hands-down the best breakfast potatoes I'd ever had. They were perfectly lightly crisp on the outside, but airy and fluffy on the inside. I've never had breakfast potatoes that good. Service was great and the ambiance was light and cheery. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that I happened to discover this spot just short of 2 weeks before I moved overseas. read more

Let me start this review off with saying that I am a breakfast lover. I will determine if a breakfast place is good based on how well they cook their potatoes. Now, this place gets 5/5 stars because they managed to make the potatoes SO CRISPY. It's already hard to make a potato cut the size they have and have it crispy on all sides. I also ordered the Cajun Shrimp benny and it tasted good but also tasted like it was missing something, maybe a little kick... I don't know. The matcha latte could be a little stronger too, just tasted whole milk with a splash of matcha which does bring it down to a 4/5. This place did a great job with their build-out and decor and created a cozy ambiance to enjoy a decent breakfast and lunch. My BLT with an added egg on top was perfect and the side of onion rings were fresh and flavorful and I put them on the top of the list for some of the best I have had. I've been wanting to try this place so today I stopped in and gave it a try. I ordered a mimosa and the chicken fried steak breakfast, the food looked amazing however when I went to cut the chicken fried steak it was difficult to cut and wasn't very tender at all also lacked seasoning, I'm not sure what type of meat they used as it was thicker than your typical cube steak but it was edible. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were great. Mimosa had a great flavor and the champagne they use is good. My friend and I went to this place during brunch. Our waiter was friendly and knew what accommodations to take for my gluten intolerance. I ordered the eggs benedict and pancakes (both gluten free). Food was good and the price was on the lower compared to other GF options I've seen so far at other places. Definitely recommend for celiacs. I've never been to place where on both occasions I've said I would definitely order this again, but I'm not because it was so good that I want to try something else to see how good that dish may be. Ended up here after church this past Sunday and it was packed but the wait was only about 25 minutes for a party of eight. We couldn't wait for the other table to get up for the tables to be pushed together so we sat 4by4 in 2 booths. Everyone loved their food. Personally, ordered the sunshine sandwich and upgraded my side to pancakes instead of the grits or toast. It was so good and filling that I could barely finished it. As much as I'd like to quote "I drink and I know things"....but i felt a little bit dumber and left here only to know nothing but an empty bank account. If you're expecting bad food and watered down drinks, this isn't the place. Food was amazing and I do know this since I ate first. I can also attest to the most phenomenal cocktails I've had in a long time because I had several rounds of each one to make sure. I used to always pass this place on the way home, so I finally decided to give it a try, and was so glad I took the chance. When I first walked in the hostess was very nice and greeted me, and I was struck by how unique the decor was very modern, looking and clean. The menu was very big with lots of selections from waffles to omelettes to skillets to healthy options and they even have gluten-free options as well as lunch options which is pretty cool. LOVE this spot in the Farmers Branch/Addison area. The food is DELICIOUS and customer service is EXCELLENT! Canyon was our waiter for a group of 11 ladies.
