Even after the app closed the first order, it refused to let me apply a coupon to the second order. I was annoyed. I think the dining room is closed and maybe permanently and online doesn't seem to reflect that. I know that in the past they couldn't always get workers to service the drive thru hours posted either. Unfortunately this seems to be more of a trend these days rather than an exception. At least a paper sign saying sorry we are unable to stay open would be helpful when this scenario does happen. It didn't this time around but I did have it happen at this particular location like 6-9 months ago. Instead of having me circle around, the staffer was able to bring my second order to me as I waited in the same place off to the side. The food was reasonably fresh.

I've had to call every day since then, and nobody wants to help, they just want to pass the buck. Today I was told a supervisor would call me back within 30-60 minutes. 75 miutes later I'm calling back to find out where tthat supervisor was. Was told they would call me back, but 2.5 hours later I'm calling in again. So, since they are giving me such a hard time about refunding the delivery fee($6.32 fee+ a little tax), I have no reason to not show a picture of the human hair baked right into the breading. Next I'll be filing a complaint with the local health department. Sad because I have legitimate reasons for requesting a refund. Never asked for a refund before and they are giving me a hard time and no accepting accountability. So save yourself the trouble and avoid this KFC, as well as Doordash delivery. So rather than their week at NJ shore, the crowd beat it to Apple Walnut. Took a little over 10min to be seated, so not terrible, but this was at the very tail end of service. I was born with an intermittent fasting stomach; I've never been a breakfast-eater and brunch is gross to me! I mention this because I've never taken my son out for breakfast foods so it was great to have this experience. My little one had a HUGE "Go Go Bananas" It said it was "hot cakes stuffed with Bananas" but they were just plain. It mentioned caramel on top which wasn't there (they subbed syrup without asking); frustrating and unprofessional. It also had a slice of poundcake French Toast topped with grilled bananas, and then banana French Toast with granola. It was a decadent treat of gluten and sugar that we don't normally eat at home. My son was really happy. My burger was okay but not memorable, and the fries were that awful batter-dipped cheap kind that I don't eat and they just made the whole thing "mid" as the kids say. Service was very very slow per the crowd and it being the end of the shift. Our server was cheerful and I told her to take her time, but I didn't realize we'd be left waiting forever for water refills, 30min for food (kitchen's fault), and at least 10min after asking for check. I still tipped well over 20% but their staff seems too spent and overwhelmed from the crazy crowds that are so unusual this time of year. In summary, it was great for decadent breakfast foods, diner-quality for my burger, and while I understand how taxed our server was, the service really dragged. I had seen reviews commenting on the wait but do beware that it's still suuuper bad apparently at all times of their hours, and even random weekdays when people are enduring their Trump staycations. I rate it a 3 but my son was so happy with his food so I rounded up.
