    good looking cheesesteak

nice clean family, locals, travelers friendly place. Some kind of connection to The Dairy Cottage. I'm not rushing back for the cheesesteak but if you have a group of people/family and everyone wants something different including a cheesesteak then this is your place.

This a simple, local joint where you can get solid food at a reasonable price with fast and friendly service. Nothing fancy - A solid 3 stars. 1 bonus star for just being plain, solid, fast, friendly and affordable and for NOT trying to be hip, trendy or cool! (Yes, they are related to Dairy Cottage)

Happened to be in this area, and saw this place. I know it's been around a while, but had never seen it before in my life. I was just in the mood for a couple of slices of pizza and coffee, so I figured what the hell! As I walked in I saw a sign for the Dairy Cottage. Seems this place might be related to that. I took it as a good sign as I enjoy the Dairy Cottage. Signs aren't always what they're cracked up to be. I'll say that I wanted to like this place. I like mom and pop places with diner counters. Judging by other reviews here, I'll say that service is better. There were two young ladies working and they were nice. The gentleman at the cash register was nice too. I'll also say that I have a feeling that if I had ordered a sandwich, or breakfast, I might have liked it better judging by the reviews. But I tried the pizza, and it's quite easy to describe. I can describe it one of two ways. - It reminded me of the pizza they served me at lunch in elementary school. - Remember the line in Saturday Night Fever where Travolta's father said "Your mother's sauce don't drip. It don't taste, and it don't drip." Yep, this sauce don't taste at all and there was barely enough to drip. The oregano sprinkled on the slices didn't improve matters. Sorry. I'm sure this place has good enough sandwiches. But if your name says pizza in it, you gotta take some pride in the pizza and do better than that.

Pretty weird place. You enter into this huge place and see almost like a convenience store area with countertops to the side that are about 3 feet high. In the back of the room is a typical dining room where I ate. There was no music when I went which gave the place a grim atmosphere. I got a cheese small pizza with pepperoni and chicken and it was amazing. I should've went with a smaller size because I could only finish half of the pizza. The sauce and cheese were great, but the toppings were somewhat lacking flavor and pretty messy. Definitely recommend trying this place if you want some pretty good pizza.

Always great food and kind service. We enjoy both eat in and take out options. Great seating area. Certainly an asset to Broomall.

Been going here for years. This is one of the best Pizza places in Broomall, nothing flashy, just good food with a smile.

Joe's never disappoints! It's not the fanciest place but it has great food and great people. Food is always quick and delicious!

They gave up caring years ago. Sub-par food for years. There are many other paces to go for food, just not here.

The moment you walk in, the vibe hits you first: vibrant colors, rustic touches, and an ambiance that feels like stepping into someone's family dining room back in Italy. It's authentic, comforting, and alive with culture. The food? Unreal. Their **homemade bread** sets the tone -- rustic, fresh, and full of that old-world character. The **pizza** is on another level with dough that's so good it almost steals the show. Every pasta dish carries that handcrafted feel, the kind that tells you the recipe didn't come from a cookbook -- it came from memory. Appetizers are just as impressive, but the **grilled octopus** stands out as a true star. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and proof that Exit 13 puts heart into every dish. This is the kind of spot where the atmosphere and the food work together -- where the vibe feels like home and the flavors taste like heritage. Exit 13 doesn't just serve Italian cuisine. It brings Abruzzo to life. **A must-visit for anyone who loves real, soulful, authentic food.**

The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time so maybe it's just not for us.
