My parents meet a family friend here several times a month for breakfast or lunch. A few times a year I'll crash the party. They are right off of route 3 and have a nice private parking lot. Decor is basic, no thrills but cozy and homey. They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner, I've had everything but the dinner. Breakfast foods are good diner quality. My eggs are always a perfect over easy and my toast nicely toasted. I've had the cheesesteak for lunch, it's your average pizza place cheesesteak and does the job if that's what you are looking for. Oddly have not had the pizza but I'll have to try that one of these days. Service is friendly and efficient, but it's rarely crowded when we are there so I'd expect that. The crowd when I've been there seems to be the same regulars. Retired folks looking for something good to eat, hot coffee, and time to chat with friends without being rushed. read more

I have been going to Joe's since moving to Broomall 8 years ago. Family owned by the owners of the Dairy Cottage in Springfield, I ser a high standard for Joe's and have not been disappointed. I've eaten breakfast, lunch & dinner at Joe's and leave satisfied every time. Very friendly personnel also add to the enjoyment. I have to add that my personal favorite is the Michaelangelo panini (for my money the best panini around). Instead of a roll, this sandwich is made with Texas-toast type bread and cooked in butter YUMMY. If you haven't been there, GO! read more

This was my first-time ordering from Joe's Pizza and everything was good. I chose to pick-up my order and everyone I encountered was extremely polite and friendly. The cheesesteak I ordered was huge and that was the "small". Everything I ordered tasted great and the restaurant was very comfortable, clean and well organized. I think the prices are much lower than some of the other restaurants in the area and the atmosphere in the dining area looks like it would be perfect for a family with small children and even a family with older kids. Happened to be in this area, and saw this place. I know it's been around a while, but had never seen it before in my life. I was just in the mood for a couple of slices of pizza and coffee, so I figured what the hell! As I walked in I saw a sign for the Dairy Cottage. Seems this place might be related to that. I took it as a good sign as I enjoy the Dairy Cottage. Signs aren't always what they're cracked up to be. I'll say that I wanted to like this place. I like mom and pop places with diner counters. Judging by other reviews here, I'll say that service is better. There were two young ladies working and they were nice. The gentleman at the cash register was nice too. I'll also say that I have a feeling that if I had ordered a sandwich, or breakfast, I might have liked it better judging by the reviews. But I tried the pizza, and it's quite easy to describe. I can describe it one of two ways. - It reminded me of the pizza they served me at lunch in elementary school. - Remember the line in Saturday Night Fever where Travolta's father said "Your mother's sauce don't drip. It don't taste, and it don't drip." Yep, this sauce don't taste at all and there was barely enough to drip. The oregano sprinkled on the slices didn't improve matters. Sorry. I'm sure this place has good enough sandwiches. But if your name says pizza in it, you gotta take some pride in the pizza and do better than that. read more

Been going here for years. This is one of the best Pizza places in Broomall, nothing flashy, just good food with a smile.

I was camping with my good lady and fancy getting pizza one night. So we phoned in a order. We picked it up the staff here are very friendly. Fantastic place and environment! Went here on 06/19/2022 with my girlfriend and her family, we got upside down pizza and fries and drinks. Everything that we received was great! We love going to Joe's. My kids like sitting at the counter. This is a good place for lunch or dinner. We have not made it there for breakfast. The pizza is pretty good but a little greasy. Pretty weird place. You enter into this huge place and see almost like a convenience store area with countertops to the side that are about 3 feet high. In the back of the room is a typical dining room where I ate. There was no music when I went which gave the place a grim atmosphere. I got a cheese small pizza with pepperoni and chicken and it was amazing. I should've went with a smaller size because I could only finish half of the pizza. The sauce and cheese were great, but the toppings were somewhat lacking flavor and pretty messy. Definitely recommend trying this place if you want some pretty good pizza. read more

Every time I come here, and today was no different, they outdo themselves. Everything on the menu is delicious and consistently delicious. My favorites are: Breakfast - bacon, egg and cheese on a long roll, cinnamon bun french toast, pancakes. Lunch - fresh turkey club, hot roast beef sandwhich, cheese steak, Cheeseburger special. I asked for and received properly toasted wheat bread. I substituted the home fries for a fruit dish. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. It's an omelet! The taste was adequate. I judge purely as presented. I never add salt, ketchup or any toppings. Occasionally, black pepper. The fruit dish consisted of bananas and strawberries. Refreshing! The server performed within her job description. The person appearing to be the supervisor was friendlier and accommodating. The owner was quite nice and cheerful. I used to buy hoagies and Cheesesteaks but i have found other places in Broomall that do a much better job less than a mile away..the servers are friendly and you get quick service.the Hoagies could use some more meat for 10. I actually have only been here for breakfast, but I think it's pretty good breakfast (for Broomall, at least). They serve breakfast late on the weekends and have a variety of breakfast items. They also have specials that add to the variety on their menu. The prices are very affordable and the staff is always pleasant and attentive. Their cheesesteaks are to die for, their chef salads are never underpacked, they have delicious corn beef, and their hoagies are stuffed to perfection. I'm admittedly biased for this place. I personally know the family that owns this place and my family has been getting cheesesteaks, hoagies and pizzas from Melvina for more than 20 years! I remember when I was little it was just a hole in the wall but has long since expanded into a full dining restaurant. Being a transplant from Philly to LA, whenever I visit PA the first stop after getting off the plane is Joe's oh yeah and my Grandma lives close by too. My "usual" is a mushroom cheesesteak with hot peppers on the side and a side of cheesefries. When you only get a real cheesesteak about once a year you have to do it up! I was the only customer in the place, but the guy who took my order was gruff and seemed to want to expend as little time and energy as possible. As someone who only started eating beef a few months ago and who hasn't been to Philly since elementary school, I'm not super well versed in cheesesteak ordering and getting the cashier guy to even tell me what kinds of things people usually order on a cheesesteak (besides beef and cheese) was like pulling teeth. Love this place. Very convenient location and plenty of parking...yes, that does matter! I often avoid places that don't have good parking. They're known for a great breakfast menu, and they're busy on weekend mornings. At dinnertime, I love their super huge cheesesteaks and hoagies. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The menu is actually quite extensive for a "pizza place", you'll be surprised! They do not offer delivery at this time, but do offer call ahead pick up. The prices are moderate and they offer some really great priced specials. Some of my favorites on the menu are cheesesteaks, burgers, wraps, strombolis, milkshakes, most of the fried appetizers and breakfast selections offered.
