This is a really wonderful restaurant. We went with my aunt and uncle, who are regulars. (we are from Chicago) and they had their usual waitress, Julie who was extremely friendly and attentive. She has a great sense of humor and knew their order. She gave us recommendations and the pizza she suggested was really good (remember, there's nothing like Chicago pizza, but this was as good!) We met the owners, who know many of the patrons by name. The owners are front and center and very visible to everyone. You don't find this too often. I will be back! read more

We've been getting take out from Patelmo's for years and have always loved the food. A few days ago, we ordered 12" meatball parms and were disappointed. First off, the new packaging only holds a 10" roll which isn't what we ordered. It seemed like they had been assembled by just putting hot meatballs and sauce on the roll and adding cheese--not put in the oven so that the cheese was properly melted and the bread more crisp. The seasoning in the meatballs is also different and not as good as in the past. I hope this isn't a trend. read more

Food was very good as always- we ate in the restaurant tonight which caused the low score. The service was slow, primarily because the waitress would camp at tables chatting, making it difficult to get her attention. Two of the times she did come (we had to motion to her to get her to come over) she complained about management. I'll still get takeout there, but will think twice about eating there. read more

Ordered a club sandwich and turkey hoagie tonight. The hoagie was dry even though supposed have oil and oregano etc. also ordered a turkey club which was missing the mayo on each piece of bread. Have you ever eaten something so good you actually think about it for the next three days? Well that's how I felt after ordering the Italian Chicken sandwich from Patelmo's Pizzeria in West Chester. In all fairness I added sautéed spinach and made it a wrap. However it was the best Chicken sandwich hinted with homemade pesto, roasted peppers, and sharp provolone that I have ever had. I had it made to go and the packaging was perfect. The box had the sandwich perfectly wrapped in parchment and tinfoil. Chips in original small bag and pickles secured nicely in a small lidded cup. The Tomato Pie, a family recipe handed down from the owner's grandmother was superb. Homemade salad dressing,and all fresh ingredients made this quick trip to a local pizzeria a true unexpected treat. The owner and his wife were the only things better than the food. I was visiting a friend in this beautiful area and she recommended Patelmo's Pizzeria. From what she told me, the owners are renovating the location. The owners are hands on, cooking and waiting tables. I know the restaurant business and it's a tremendous amount of work! The menu was very extensive with a wide array of several kinds of wraps and sandwiches, calzone, pizza, specialty pizzas (I hear the truffle mushroom is to die for), stromboli and many tempting appetizers. I decided on the margarita pizza - it was tasty and the pizza crust was crispy with tomato sauce, chopped fresh basil and cheese. Although very delicious I would have liked more cheese. My friend ordered this delicious looking Avocado BLT wrap. Also on the menu I believe it says "if you don't see something you want on the menu-please ask!" Talk about personalization! The restaurant was pretty hot when we arrived but cooled off a little during the visit. I'm sure with summer on the way the air conditioning will be cranking though. Patelmo's has become our go to pizza delivery! Our regular order is very simple, pepperoni and mushrooms (or olives....depends who wins the fight) and a white pizza. Sorry, someone needs to tell the cook that you cannot use grilled chicken for a buffalo chicken wrap. Besides, the menu says ' chicken tenders". We've tried Patelmo's three times in the past few months. Two orders for take out and one for delivery. The two take out orders were wrong but the food we did receive was good. In both cases they did correct the order and were apologetic. This most recent order, which was delivered, was for a large half pepperoni, half cheese pizza. It was one of the worst pizzas I've eaten. The pizza was very greasy and the dough was tough to eat. The ingredients had either been frozen or the dough was over-kneaded if fresh. Given that we've tried them three times and had issues, we will not be going back. read more

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for my pizza loving young ones. I am most impressed by their vegetarian options. After becoming a vegetarian years ago I still get a hankering for a cheesesteak and it was so awesome that Patelmo's has the only vegetarian cheesesteak option in West Chester! It was so delicious with the mushrooms and peppers that I was surprised that I was able to eat the whole 10 inch along with a side of fries.
