I ordered the Zero Gravity Liquid Hot Magma, Tequila Me Softy (I was iffy about it but had 3 of them), and a refreshing aperol spritz. For food, my friend and I split the Cape Cod oysters, half and half pizza of the Killa B & the Forager, spicy cauliflower, & the NH pastured wagyu burger (which is considered a small plate and definitely not). Stopped in for lunch and was immediately seated. Ordered 2 pizzas. The "OG" has garlic, oregano, cheese and tomato sauce. Flavor was excellent. My only minor complaint was there was a bit too much of the garlic slices for my liking. Not enough to take off a star though. The Cacio E Pepe was outstanding! No red sauce, just evoo. So yummy! The 3 different cheeses merry so well together! I can't even describe the flavor....just so so good! Pizzas are a decent size. We ate half of each and brought the rest home. Lots of hype from all avenues. It's good and definitely worth a trip. Parking can be hazardous but casual outdoor patio with plenty of indoor seating make it an easy place to like. The meatball sandwich on a lovely buttered brioche bun runny with meaty cheese and tangy sauce is excellent. Juicy, chunky meatballs are nestled lovingly in the bun with cheese melting over sauce. Excellent. A pizza with fresh mozzarella, ricotta and sausage is just crisp enough, definitely need two pizzas for three people - one is too much for one but not enough for two so really need three people and two pizzas. Steamers served with steaming water and drawn butter -- unfortunately, they are plump but nothing that can't be had at hundreds of other spots. Ham and cheese baguette is chewy as the baguette doesn't have quite enough lubricant - butter or mayonnaise, mustard. It's a nice sandwich that requires jaws of steel. Stick to the pizza and red sauce items and you'll love this place. The other stuff is good, not great. Quick service, plenty of beer and wine available. read more

Met a friend here for lunch based on their recommendation. They had a wonderful dinner experience recently and wanted me to check it out. The space is open and has a cool vibe. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor patio is a nice option when the weather is comfortable. The lunch menu was limited to oysters, charcuterie, simple salads, pizzas, and sandwiches. We shared the mushroom man pizza and the spicy tuna melt. Both were ok. The bread for the tuna melt was tasty but overwhelming in that there was too much bread. They may want to consider opening the sandwich and calling it a tuna melt toast. The flavor of the tuna melt was lacking. The description from the menu made it sound like it had promise, but it failed to deliver. The mushroom man pizza was quite nice. It has mushrooms, leeks, mozza, and arugula. The pizza dough was nice and chewy with a bit of crispiness. I am not a fan of pizzas that "do too much", but this was good. Our server was friendly and attentive, not overbearing. The bartender was not nice. Grumpy grubby hipster who was so rude and gave me the nastiest look for making a mistake on my drink order. I can't remember the last time someone gave me such a nasty look for a simple error. This dirty looking man took my drink back, and when I ordered what I wanted, he took his sweet time to short pour me and then didn't bother to bring it to our table. If a drink order mistake gets someone that upset when the restaurant is half empty, then I'm afraid to go back when they are actually busy. This guy was a straight up douchebag. I have a feeling he takes pride in it. Street parking is available and is likely tough in the evening/night. Overall, I think Brewer's Fork has potential and I would go back to try dinner. I went to their physical location on a busy Saturday for lunch with a few friends. It has a cozy atmosphere and the tables tend to be close together. So you've been tirelessly looking for the ultimate garlic clam pizza, well you have found it. Order the SPICY CLAM. Have them add garlic and extra garlic. Also add extra clams and make it extra spicy, you will not be disappointed. They use fresh local clams nothing from a can, and absolutely fresh garlic not from a jar. I've found the garlic can be hot medium or mild depending on what their supplier provides them. Personally I like it hot hot hot. They can also make the pizza with a white sauce if you like. Also order a side of just the sauce so you can use it to dip the crusts in before you devour them. The crust flavor and texture speak for themselves. ENJOY! read more

We went to BF yesterday for dinner and the place was half full. We ordered the killer bees pizza, tuna Tatar and peach sangria. The pizza was good, 10inch pizza for $16. Tuna tartar was bad, the flat bread was burnt, and the portion was small. We had diarrhea after eating the raw tuna, and had to look for the restroom afterwards. Tuna was &18. The sangria was good. $11. Overall I would not recommend this place if you're in Charlestown for dining. The service was decent. read more

After a few visits, I can confidently say this is one of my favorite pies in Boston. Probably in a tie for Ciao Pizza- but they are across the Mighty Mystic so they don't count. Love this place. Have recently discovered Brewer's Fork and I don't think I've had a bad pizza yet. They do a very, very excellent neapolitan-style pizza with a lot of good pizza combos to choose from. Probably my two favorite pizza's are the Sausage and the Free Bird. I'm not a fan of chicken on pizza- this is heresy and chicken pizza lovers should be salted and smighted and blah,blah, blah. Yeah, eat this and you'll feel differently. Also collard greens on pizza?!? Crazy good and so inventive. The sausage pizza isn't too shabby either, love the sweet tomatos with the salty ricotta and sausage. Perfect! I'm really loving this trend of "good pizza in Boston". The moment I stepped into this restaurant the owner was aggressive. There was a leak in the ceiling that was dripping onto the table. When we asked if there was anything we could do or if we could move the table over so it wouldn't be splattering all over us the owner told us "it is what it is" and "he can't fix the roof now" We just wanted to move tables! Or away from the leak! After they accidentally over charged my card by running it under the wrong tab. When I asked the server why I was charged so much he grabbed my card and receipt out of my hand return with the correct receipt and recharged me. He didn't explain what happened! When I asked for a copy of both receipts he yelled at me and told me there was no other receipt and he didn't know what I was talking about. I called my credit card company and got it resolved. But it gets better on my way out I approached the hostess to asks about the credit card situation and told her what had happened! The owner came over full throttle and told me that my group was being rude (we were all wearing masks we were all about to head out) and sat spread out and at separate tables the entire night to get out of his restaurant. This was after we paid! The aggression we received was completely uncalled for and it occurred through out our entire service. At the end he followed us out of the restaurant and yelled "IF YOU WANT TO SAY SOMETHING SAY IT TO MY FACE" I was in horror. I've never been talked in such a rude or aggressive way. I thought he was getting square up with me (my five foot 100 pound self)! Just a very hostile weird experience Only come here if you're ready for fight night.... read more

Yes, yes, and yes. I took it upon myself to find the best pizza in Boston, and Brewers Fork certainly is at the top of that list! We come here regularly on Friday nights or Sunday mornings, and the pizza is always stellar. The crust doesn't get soggy if you don't eat it right away, and the tomato sauce isn't too sweet or salty. Solid brunch, no wait when we arrived around 11 am on a Sunday. Definitely a family vibe, lots of little ones having breakfast with their parents, so the tv screens were split between premiere league soccer and Spongebob. The Dude Bro was unexpected, no one at the table was predicted it to be a breakfast sandwich based on its description - but was still delicious. The duck fat homefries was lacking some serious duck fat flavor, and overall disappointing because of that. My boyfriend had the steak and eggs. Both were cooked perfect, the Smokey flavor of the steak accompanied by the radish salsa was lovely. Now for my 'Nduja & Avocado toast.... come in ready to eat this like you would a bowl of Captain Crunch. Your mouth is going to get murdered, absolutely destroyed. Why make a toast so crunchy that you can barely bite through it? I walked away with a bloody mouth, and cuts that still linger today. The 'Nduja? I wish I had gone without. First, when you think of avocado toast, you typically think vegetarian. But 'Nduja is a salami type meat, very smokey. The smokiness overpowered the flavor of the dish. It was ok, but not what I was looking for. I added a sous vide (slow cooked egg) and although I have a sous vide at home, I've never made eggs with it. I'm digging this place! So many things to like up in here! First off - a few things to know before you arrive. They do not take reservations and they will not seat your party until all have arrived. From 3-5 it's pizza and oysters only. The outdoor area isn't always open either. It's kid friendly too, so bring them along if you wish. So hopefully that will help you know what to expect. Oh and NO DOGS, so you'll have to leave your pup at home. The beer list is diverse giving you plenty of possibilities for all your moods. They are nice enough to give you a taste first to make sure you're going to like what you order. They also have a nice wine list if that's your thing! I opted for beer that day and really enjoyed the 'Trillium from Dusk trill Dawn' as well as the 'Firestone Walker Stickee Monkey'. Not only were they tasty, but the names were brilliant too! For food we had 6 oysters (2 of each they had) and several pizzas (since we were there at 4). The oysters were well cleaned and fresh. The vinegar was a nice touch vs the traditional cocktail sauce versions you get elsewhere. For the pizza we had the 'Marge', a sauceless Marge and 'Mushroom Man'. They are wood fired, but I think they still need to work on their technique. Many sections of our crust were flat out charred to a crisp, while the base was soggy. Certainly had to eat them with a fork, but the flavor profile was there. And for that reason alone, I have to only give them 3 stars. Otherwise, it would be a 4. The building is attractive and clean, even the restrooms were thought out and maintained. I love the open air design of the place with its industrial rustic feel. It's very welcoming and casual, so makes you want to hang out a while. The service was OK, but I could tell our waitress was either having a bad day or drained as she had no energy for us. I let her know we could close out if she wanted to hand us off to the next shift that had just rolled in. I'm letting this one slide, but if this is a consistent problem that might turn me off after a bit. The bartenders were upbeat from the short amount of time I sat at the bar with my beer waiting for the rest of my party to arrive. Overall I enjoyed this place and would come back or recommend it to others. read more

Went with the highly recommended meatball pizza. The positive: good tasting crust The negative: the combined cheese, sauce, and meatball included what felt like no seasoning. Didn't taste salt, pepper, oregano, or anything else for that matter. Came off as pretty bland. Also although the crust was tasty, it was not nearly substantial enough to hold the ingredients. Within 3 minutes of table delivery, the overall pizza was pretty soggy, thus requiring knife and fork. Too bad, really had high hopes.
