Coffee & 750 ML GLASS BOTTLE SAN PELLEGRINO SPARKLING MINERAL WATER
Dan A.

After some serious shopping, we were in the mood for Brunch on a Tuesday and discovered this spot. We arrived around 12:30 and, although almost full, we were seated next to a window. Had no problem finding paid street parking across the street. A good variety of Brunch options from Eggs, Bowls, Sandwiches and Tacos. Ordered a Coffee and San Pellegrino. The Coffee could've been much stronger. Didn't enjoy it. I should have taken the Kahlua or Irish Cream shot option. They did have a good list of Cocktails including Mimosas. We ordered a couple of their Benedicts. The Short Rib and Bread Pedaler. Both were delicious with the Bread Pedaler having a slight edge given the Maple syrup topped Waffle base. Lyonnaise potatoes were tasty and not a Brunch side you see everywhere -yes, made in the French (Lyon) way with caramelized onions. We also ordered Short Rib Tacos and a Monte Cristo to go for dinner. Tacos had the same Short Rib from the Benedict with Queso Fresco taking it over the top. the Savory/Sweet Monte Cristo was also delicious and one of the best we've had! Service was friendly. Given a smaller and cozy space, sounds like weekends can get busy. Another Lancaster spot that impressed. Don't miss this Brunch!

What a wonderful family friendly place. We live in California and were here for a conference. We came in around 1:50 pm (even though they close at 2 pm), and they took us in. Wonderful food and super friendly staff. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back.

Was really excited to try this brunch place. We made a reservation a few weeks in advance since it's a very tiny spot. We were celebrating my birthday and had a baby with us. The reservation was for 11:15, we arrived right on time and was told there was a computer glitch and we needed to wait 15 mins and they would text me. I was highly annoyed but waited. 30 mins went by until our table was ready! Why even have reservations if you make me wait 30 extra mins with a baby. The hostess was extremely rude. What a horrible first impression! Also to note there is literally no where to wait but outside. Once we were seated, I was really surprised our water was brought to us in a tiny plastic cup. We ordered a cheese danish first. It was warm and pretty good. Our orders included the jerk chicken tacos, brisket tacos and Santa Fe. I don't eat pork and asked if they could sub the pork for avocado. They did but charged a whooping $3 for that. How is that even a substitution? The tacos were enjoyed on a homemade tortilla. The Santa Fe was good but thought the beans and rice was lacking and not enough on the plate. Not sure how they can boast an organic sign on the window and then serve your food on throw away plates and drinks in plastic cups. Also serve plastic straws. Can't say I'll be back or recommend it.

3.5 stars First off, website is pretty bad. You can't see an actual menu unless you fake an order online. Busy, busy space that really packs them in. If you are a party of 2, expect to be seated a 2 feet from another party. No way around it in this spot. Everyone working super friendly and a well oiled operation. Every interaction was kind, patient and professional. Coffee strong enough. My dish was a tad pricey for the portions, quite heavy, but very good. I didn't leave stuffed, but it was so rich that I could not have eaten more of this menu item if that makes sense. My wife had the french toast and they were super thin pieces (3) of sourdough bread. Not what you would expect, but well prepared. Pay right at your table so you'll be in and out in 45 minutes easy. 3 for ambiance 5 for service 4 for meal

We loved the Bread Pedaler!! Everything we had was unique and delicious, and our waiter was so kind and accommodating, as he served a member who joined late and was not planned to be in out party. The food also came out quite quickly. I loved the spacious interior and the nice detail of personal hand towels in the bathroom. I am sorry to hear this place is closing, I had an overall wonderful experience and wish the owners and staff luck in the future.

A cool Sunday morning in Lancaster and we were looking for a good place to eat breakfast. This place had great reviews and...it was open! The place is small and very busy. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Well worth it. Our server steered us away from 'dishes you can get anywhere' and into the deliciousness of the Butchers Bowl. Potatoes, chunks of bacon, cheese, eggs (scrambled recommended) and house made Hollandaise sauce..described as phenomenal. I am not an egg eater so they subbed sautéed spinach and kale. It came with the best multi grain toast. So good I took the leftovers home. The breakfast tacos and the French toast looked fantastic and I am sure I heard someone moan as they sampled the French toast. Next time! Coffee is great. Service is great. Food is great. We will definitely come back.

Nice cute spot located in Lancaster, PA! The place is fairly small and was packed the entire time we were there so I would recommend either a reservation or plan to arrive early to get a table. I love that you can see the kitchen from the dining area and the service and servers were great! They have a good size menu offering a variety of typical breakfast items as well as brunch type items (e.g. tacos). We ordered the biscuit and gravy, a waffle, and croque madame. Everything was excellent and I thought the prices were decent for what you got. They also offer a selection of iced teas but they did run out and I only got to enjoy 1 cup of it.

The Bread Pedaler was the HIGHLIGHT of our weekend in Lancaster! We didn't even think we would get a table on a Sunday morning but the hostess sat our party of 3 adults and 2 kids fairly quickly! The family friendly vibe was amazing and the customer service was top notch! As far as food and drinks we were so impressed! The mimosas were nice and strong (as they should be lol) and the food was fabulous! The best was the pork belly breakfast tacos! Omg the pork was cooked perfectly and seasoned well and paired so nicely with the eggs and sauces! We come to Lancaster every year for a dance competition and we are already looking forward to returning next year!

Came last Sunday with a small handful of girl friends. We had a reservation at 1:00 and arrived to give our name 5 minutes prior. We see not seated until after 1:30. What was the point of the reservation? Server was kind but honestly not that great at her job. Had to ask 3x for a couple drinks that were forgotten until food was half eaten. We got our checks, scanned the QR code (very annoying but okay) and then tip auto selects to 23% you have to be kidding me. Honestly that was the final straw for us. If you can't seat reservations, don't make them. We were not the only ones waiting a while. If you aren't able to memorize our orders, no big deal, but please write it down. And please fix the auto settings on your cashier website because that is very off putting. Now we all agreed, the food was a 10/10. So yummy!! But otherwise not that impressed. Not thinking we will return.

This quaint little spot was amazing. The service is fun and fast. The food is eclectic and offers a lot of options with great flavors. He did not go to this restaurant to be fancy you go to this restaurant to relax on a Sunday and eat good food.my friends and I ordered a variety of different options and we were all extremely pleased with our meal. Our waitress was very nice and helpful ordering. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our drink and our meals.

Small, very busy place offering weekend brunches. Vibe is good, owners and employees are friendly. Did I say busy?! They take reservations and I would suggest going online to do just that. We were able to walk in but again, it's a small space that gets very busy. Food presentation & menu offerings are great! The lyonnaise potatoes and croque madame were very flavorful, the sausage gravy was good. Nicely done sunny side eggs enhanced both entrees. They do have a full bar now, we had tea and coffee but we had to ask for refills...fine but at brunch I just want that offered without having to ask. Pay by QR code which was easy and a great option because, well they're busy.

CRME BRLE FRENCH TOAST

Their address has recently been updated, so I'd recommend giving them a quick call before heading over. The new location is inside a plaza, which is easy to find. The food? Absolutely delicious--seriously, SO good! Every bite was packed with flavor, and it's clear they take pride in their dishes. The only downside is the noticeable oil smell inside the restaurant. It tends to linger, and you might leave with the scent on your clothes or hair. Still, the amazing food definitely makes it worth it!

Pork belly breakfast tacos....hubby said he definitely didn't need 3, but they were awesome

What a great little spot in Lancaster, about 15 mins from Millersville U. We were visiting for family weekend and found it on Yelp, not your typical breakfast menu and it was awesome! Rustic brick wall cozy interior, top shelf ingredients and creative menu items left us full till dinner! Service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Do I need a reservation?

We went on a busy Sunday morning without a reservation. The hostess added our name to her book and we waited outside until a table was ready, which was about 10-15 minutes.

One of the staff members came over to tell us that their beer and spirits are all from PA. This was music to our ears! We ordered a local IPA. We shared the Brussels Caesar salad. The vibe leans goth, with a definite metal/punk edge rather than a tightly curated "theme bar" look. It's not as uniformly designed as the name might suggest, but it is interesting and cohesive enough to feel intentional. During brunch, the space is well-lit, and they keep the heavy metal/thrash/punk soundtrack going at a very low volume, exactly the right choice. It supports the aesthetic without turning brunch into a performance. The food is the reason to come. The menu is built around the seven deadly sins (Lust, Gluttony, Wrath, etc.), and everything we tried was outstanding. Between the two of us we had Lust and Gluttony, and both were excellent, high quality, well-executed, and clearly made with care. Service was solid: efficient, reasonably quick, and professional. Not overly chatty, but attentive enough that you don't feel ignored. Drinks were fine. The mimosa and Bloody Mary were exactly what you'd expect: competent and enjoyable, nothing gimmicky. Logistics are also manageable for a downtown spot. Parking exists in the area, including garages nearby, and it's a comfortable walk if you're already in the city center. Overall: a fun, slightly offbeat atmosphere paired with genuinely great brunch food. If you like a darker aesthetic but still want a bright, relaxed daytime meal, Coffin Bar is an easy recommendation.

You can pick the bar or lounge when making reservations on their website. From the moment you enter, you will get terrific service. The host was great and we were early for our reservation, but we were seated at the bar as requested. As soon as we sat down, the bartender greeted us with waters and a sample of a bourbon punch. The entire visit was filled with very attentive staff who were always friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. The drinks are well thought out and very good. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the flavor profiles work well. It is very difficult to pick from their crafty menu. We tried a total of 4 drinks and all were delicious. Highly recommend the Papucho - such an excellent mix of flavors that are well balanced and a very unique flavor. Honestly, not sure you will find one drink on this menu that isn't delicious. They do offer a menu of various foods. We ordered the octopus and the roasted monk fish. Both were fantastic. The servings are not big so be prepared to order dental dishes or just come with the intention of not getting a massive meal. They are good portions for a small dinner or think tapas. I say surprising because my first reaction was disappointment at the small size of the menu. Once we decided to roll with it and take a recommended path of sharing several small plates, it turned into one of those meals that reminds you why you go out to eat in the first place. We ordered several elevated small plates, but the standout was the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It was flawless. The rice base was perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside with just enough tenderness inside. On top, the spicy tuna was fresh, buttery, and beautifully balanced -- not overly mayo-heavy, not overly spicy -- just clean, bright flavor. The drizzle underneath added a subtle creaminess that tied everything together without overpowering the texture. Every bite delivered contrast: warm and crisp against cool and silky, with little pops of sesame and microgreens adding dimension. It felt thoughtful, refined, and executed with real attention to detail. Pair that with the rooftop atmosphere -- polished but relaxed -- and the whole experience felt elevated without being pretentious. If this dish is any indication, The Exchange understands how to take something familiar and make it memorable.
