Friends and I had a girls' day that began with brunch. Small place but very clean and I love that they have real towels in the bathroom and real cloth napkins on the table. I like that they are eco minded. One gal ordered the smoked salmon Benedict and it was a large portion of smoked salmon on muffins with asparagus and potatoes and Hollandaise sauce. Next friend ordered a breakfast bowl with potatoes , eggs and bacon lardons along with multigrain toast. My choice was a monte Cristo with turkey, Italian ham and emmenthaler cheese. It was sort of made like French toast with egg batter surrounding two thin slices of bread without crusts. And the edges of the sandwich were sealed. Served with Lyonnaise potatoes ( think boiled, sauteed with onions and seasonings, and a little dish of real maple syrup-- yummy. I thought the portion could have been larger- like the whole slice of bread instead of squaring it off without crusts. But it was delicious. The decaf coffee was pretty good too! read more

This was a great find, recommend ny our Air B&B host. We went there for breakfast and it was outstanding. They have some great options and a wide variety on their menu but we focused in on the eight different varieties of Eggs Benedict. My wife had the salmon and asparagus Benedict while I went for the classic, both came with some delicious fried potatoes. Service was great and their coffee was very good. As it saddens me to write this review, I believe that in a hospitality-based industry, you should be held to a higher standard of accountability. The food here is not the issue as the food is amazing. Never a bad plate in this establishment. My concern here is the ambiance and lack of candor when it comes to employer/employee relations. I understand in the real world there will be times when an employee is not the right fit for an establishment. What I don't understand is the need to yell and bring the disgruntlement of an employee that will no longer be working there. It is one thing to let an employee go, but it is quiet another thing to yell loud enough while coming out from the kitchen so everyone in the restaurant can here you. As demanding as food service and hospitality can be these days, I will not eat a place that does not value keeping the skeletons in the closet as opposed to yelling at the employee on the dining floor. Good food does not negate treating employees as less than human, regardless of why they are not a good fit for your restaurant. Do better as you never know who is watching and really does not want to hear or be involved in employee/employer conflicts. I will most likely not be returning back as I must state there were not issues with the food, just the lack of candor in termination of your employees. read more

Fantastic experience here! I came for brunch & would certainly come back again! My fiance & I both ordered the Strawberry Sam Rijuice mimosas, biscuits & gravy, then split one of their giant chocolate croissants. The food was out of this world amazing & the Rijuice is a great option for the mimosas! The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Had a brunch here. Only open on sat and sun. Waited for 30 mins. Food was salty. Egg Benedict- waffle at the bottom became soggy. Sausage patty was too salty. Taco- normal good. As a disclaimer I discovered this spot during covid so my experience is only with takeout but I have been so impressed with their food! The bread pedaler is a great breakfast/lunch spot. They have organic everything (e.g. meat, eggs) and load up the butter on the toast and waffles. I was not sure how much I would like it with the crammed seating, but once you sit down you get great service and you can even refill your own coffee. My wife was denied water to drink after asking twice for a glass (second time she had to get up to ask). the waitress told her that a reservation was coming and the needed to leave. Cool location with unique outdoor seating. They have good food here and it's always busy. This place was highly rated and we enjoyed our time here.
