I had such a fun and memorable Friday night at The Brandy! The food was phenomenal. We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was bursting with flavor. The live entertainment (music + dancing) created such a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The service was fantastic, super welcoming and attentive. It's the kind of place where you come for dinner and end up staying for the whole experience. Highly recommend for a unique Mediterranean night out in Glendale!

I had such a great experience at The Brandy in Glendale! The atmosphere is perfect for a fun night out. The food was just as impressive as the vibe. The fried Brussels sprouts were my absolute favorite crispy, flavorful, and addicting. The Lule kabob was so juicy and well-seasoned, and the Caesar salad was rich, cheesy, and delicious. Cucumber salad, olives & grilled feta, chicken Hummus

Woke up thinking about how good the food was. Never gone to a hookah bar expecting much from their menu but they have a great selection that's not just your typical bar food. Our server was so sweet and answered all our questions and recommending for us coming back on a Friday or Saturday when they have entertainment. The olives come with grilled feta and honeycombs in a side bowl was definitely a favorite at the table. Already planning on when we can all come back.

Vibe around 9 pm on Friday

Great party lounge atmosphere and amazing DJ plays American Arabic Armenian goodies. It has a low profile from the street side and security and hostess reservation specialist. Food is delicious menu is incredibly satisfying the salmon appetizer is fantastic! The ribeye steak is yummy I recommend you request easy smoking. The lamb chops are amazing each entrée is good for sharing. Wide alcoholic drinking selections. Many positives. They bring a saxophone player, a belly dsncer, and the DJ is cool and great. Managers are smart n cool. Only catch for party of 9 And more minimum charge $85/person.

Mushroom shawarma so salty

Love this new spot in Glendale. We were group of 8, we ordered bunch of appetizers and everything was so good and delicious for the main dish I ordered mushroom shawarma and seafood pasta, both dishes were extremely salty, which I wasn't able to eat. The service was amazing and it was pretty fast. The ambience was great for a group night out, the performers did an amazing job. The only thing that wasn't impressive was the indoor smoking hookah. Despite the strong ventilation in the restaurant, I could still smell the smoke.

If you want good quality food and hookah you cant go wrong with The Brandy. As always they serve the best drinks, tasty food and high quality hookah.

My friend and I stumbled upon The Brandy. To my surprise, it was also a hookah bar. The vibe was pleasant with efficient service. The shawarma tacos were delicious, but why just 3? Ridiculous! C'mon there's two of us! I had the raspberry daiquiri which was so delicate and refreshing! The strategically placed lemon peel tickled my sense of smell. We also ordered shrimp ceviche. Unfortunately, that was a disappointment. The shrimp did not taste fresh and was warm. I expect ceviche to be cold and refreshing. I wasn't happy with that dish. Overall, I think this is a spot to hookah, as they have many options to choose from I can't really pass judgment on the food, but I'd still go back

Pasta and side chicken and shish

Where do I start ? Amazing staff , Amazing food and also amazing food , literally they are well put and always there when you need something , prices are solid , quality is above everything else , well worth the price , I would definitely recommend putting reservations on the weekends so you can sit in for the amazing shows they provide. Brandys doing it the right way!

The Brandy had great service and food! We went during Greek night and Stella the belly dancer was nothing less than amazing. The live band and signing was very entertaining. Although it is advertised as a hookah lounge it feels very high class.

A Mediterranean restaurant and elevated hookah lounge in one. I enjoyed the sophisticated approach and modern dishes. We came within 30 minutes of opening and there was no wait. I enjoyed the patio seating more, but indoor is lively with a DJ. It does get busier in the night. For two, we ordered the mushroom shawarma ($17), fried brussels sprouts ($16), seafood ceviche ($22), and wagyu sliders ($19). These appetizers were great for sharing. My favorite was the mushroom shawarma and brussels sprouts. For cocktails, we got the brandy ($21) and midnight kiss ($19). For hookah, we tried one of their house blends called white knight ($38). The flavor was white gummy, peach, and lemon mint. The customer service was outstanding! Our waitress was very attentive, gave us recommendations, and came by multiple times to check up on us. The food also came out fast and right after another. We really enjoyed our dining experience as well as the hookah.

Definitely a great spot for an enjoyable evening!…read more From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly security guard. The gentleman came over and turned on the heater as soon as we sat down (and the heater itself was great), which really set the tone right away. The hookah, energy drink mix, and Deluxe pizza were all on point. The pizza dough really stood out.

I also did not act difficult or demanding during our visit. The service was poor from the start. Last Monday we went and the waitress forgot to bring our drinks and the hookah. I would look directly at her as she walked past our table so she could assist us, but she deliberately avoided eye contact and ignored us as she passed by, as if we bothered her. It wasn't until | got up to ask--when the food arrived--that the hookah was finally brought out. She barely checked on us the entire time. I stayed polite because it was my friend's first restaurant experience in Los Angeles--she was visiting from London--and I didn't want to make things uncomfortable. The waitress didn't know what a cheeseburger was, and I had to point it out on the menu. When it arrived, it didn't taste right, and I didn't finish it. It was so gross. That night and into the next morning, I began vomiting nonstop--far beyond anything a home remedy could help. The vomiting was uncontrollable, which is why I ended up in the hospital. I was diagnosed with E. coli and a kidney infection, which doctors said were caused by food poisoning. Afterward, I mentioned the situation to a friend who lives in the area, and she shared that the place tends to cater to wealthy male clientele and that staff often focus their attention there. That context unfortunately made the dismissive treatment we experienced make more sense, as we were two women dining together. This was not just a bad dining experience--it turned into a serious medical emergency. Please be cautious

The DJ on the main floor, however, didn't seem to be mixing much and mostly replayed the same songs after about 30 minutes. The service was spectacular. We ordered three bottles, which came with a pitcher of juice and four hookahs. You could choose to add mint flavor to the hookah or leave it out, though it still had a slight hint of mint even without it. Everyone also ordered individual drinks, which were about $25 each, and the wine bottle was $85. Anything we needed was brought to us quickly. We didn't get the private belly dancers, I guess they didn't come to work. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again for a special event.

HAHAHAHAHAH Waitress…read morethought I was an idiot! We ordered 1 hookah and 2 drinks. The machine showed $180. I am like that is kinda high. I asked her if that included gratuity. She said no, I asked again are you sure she says NO. I couldn't check the machine because before she handed to me she went all the way to the tip scree that said additional tip. I was like this SHADY af. I asked for a receipt and she said printer broken. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. So I grabbed the machine back and put my number in to get the receipt texted to me. Low and behold 22% tip and she charged us for water when I asked for tap water. I go back to her and show her the receipt and she is like oh I don't know what that is. I have never seen that before. Pleassseeeeee What a scam artist, she probably has done that to everyone there but everyone there is on a date and no one wants to be embarassed. Well IDGAF. She offered to give cash back and not tell her boss. Honestly he probably knows. Never going back. Ive been here 8 times. EVERYONE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!

I have been looking to try this fairly new hookah lounge for a while now and I finally got to…read more This hookah lounge is just above DTLA on a fairly quiet street which is nice and Armenian owned and Russian/Ukrainian styled. They do valet - $12 a car. I really disliked that I was practically forced to do valet despite an empty parking lot and no need for any "real" valet services, when I asked the valet guy where else I can park if I don't want valet he just shrugged and said not sure.. I went on a weeknight so it wasn't too crowded, I was quickly seated and had a whole section to myself. Since it's outdoors, it was a little cold however they have blankets + standing heaters. I ordered a shrimp pasta and a pineapple hookah, the pasta was absolutely delicious and came out super quick...the hookah on the other hand...took over 35 minutes to come out. The second thing I disliked was their "hookah" menu, when I asked for one they just said talk to the hookah guy, so I had to ask him what flavors they have and mixes...I would rather look at a menu and have my own options to choose from versus hear them. Also was completely unaware of the prices so that is a little shady. However after finding out, a regular hookah is $35, $40 for a premium Russian brand (I recommend this) and $65 for a grapefruit or pineapple head.... The play house music that was a little loud but nothing too overbearing. Hookah service was great and the coals are changed frequently. Overall - solid hookah spot with clearly good and knowledgeable hookah specialist...downside was the valet / hookah taking forever to come and no menu for hookah. I would however definitely come back though.
