Came here with my friends for a nightcap and CJ (our waiter) honestly made the night. From the second we sat down, he was welcoming, checked in on us without being overbearing, and made some great recommendations. You could tell he actually cared about making sure we had a good time. He even surprised me and my friend with a slice of cheesecake for our birthdays, which was such a thoughtful touch (and it was ridiculously good). We had the KFC and Orange Kiwi Mint hookahs. Both were smooth, flavorful, and had their own vibe, but still hit perfectly. The fries and asada hummus were also stars of the show. People like CJ are the reason you come back to a place. Sadly, my love to this place ended today. First, I ordered a burger - and asked if I can have fries with it. I ordered it medium rare - and made sure the waiter understood that I like it on the blue side. I came well done. It also came with fries, and an extra portion fries I would have never ordered ($11 plus tax and tip). Then, I learned that they automatically charge 18% tip. I understand that most restaurants charge it for larger groups, but we were three. This sort of means, that I paid 18% automatically, they taxed the 18% and then I, being generous, paid another 20% tip. Not once, not twice, but a number of times. I did not see any notice or on their menu which is a pain to read on the phone anyway. It may have been somewhere, but still ... I will never go again. read more

Wish I would have known about this place sooner. Nice place with great indoor/outdoor atmosphere. They have good food and music but the hookah was fantastic. Came here for the first time in a long time a few weeks ago, and honestly was not expecting to be this impressed. The vibe is great, but what really made the night was our server CJ. Actually I think he's the manager. From the moment we sat down he made everything feel comfortable, like he genuinely wanted us to have a good time rather than just doing his job. Super attentive, great energy, and he kept things fun throughout the whole night. The food was actually solid too, but the service is great enough that you want to come back. They're kind he's also invited me to his Mexican Restaurant in Sherman oaks Anejo and the service and food there is amazing as well. But back to the lounge the hookah is always great the food is always great no cap and vibe here is amazing music playing people all around having a great time. I highly recommend this especially if you want to bring a special someone on a date. Nice place. Friendly staff. I have to warn you that they add 15% gratuity to your bill and they don't tell you. They leave room for tip on the credit card receipt so they mislead you into tipping twice. It's in the fine print but who's going to read that in a dimly lit hookah lounge? I would have appreciated the staff told me ahead of time, I likely will not be back and I don't approve of this type of business practice. I came with a group of friends, as they were from out of town & have been meaning to check this place out. (Win-win situation!!) She was super sweet and had an amazing personality! She went above and beyond to explain everything (as this was my friends first time at a hookah lounge) & Alexis was able to give great recommendations as well. I've had terrible experiences at other Hookah places, but I gotta say, this place is my favorite! Despite Alexis having other tables, she always made sure we had everything we needed (from drink refills, to extra sauces for our food, extra napkins, etc). I've been searching for the best hookah lounge in LA County, and I'm very sure I found it. The staple here is the vibe due to how attentive and friendly the staff and employees are here. Leon, the hookah master, knows what's good, and I can 100% trust whatever he gives me. I don't really look at the menu anymore, he just asks me a couple of questions of what I'm feeling that day. Genuine guy and knows his stuff. This is my 'home' hookah lounge now! The food is great--I get the chili bowl with chips in the evening. It's delicious with plenty of onions of it for texture. Huge screens, free wifi, and chill crowd here always. I'd say this place is even better than more expensive ones like Hookah Mojo in Hollywood.
