I've been here twice this month after taking an extended break and, ooof, service has tanked. Service was always kind of hit or miss but now it's absolute TRASH. Got our initial order fairly quickly and then we were abandoned for the next hour and a half. It wasn't until one of us got up to fetch a server that we finally got refills on our drinks and hookah. The sad part is that this place has potential because it's a good hangout spot but it truly feels like none of the workers actually like to work. Makes me wonder what's happening behind the scenes to make all their employees so apathetic. read more

The food and service were good. My only concern is how the restaurant handles gratuity. My subtotal was $54.00, and the restaurant automatically added $11.74 in gratuity (21.74%) without giving me the option to choose the amount myself. To be clear, this is not about the money and it is not a complaint about the service. The service was good, and I would have tipped. I may have even chosen to tip 25% or 30%. For me, it's about the principle. Gratuity should be the customer's decision. If a restaurant is going to impose a mandatory gratuity, that policy should be clearly communicated beforehand. I don't have an issue paying a good tip for good service. I have an issue with the gratuity being decided for me without being given a choice. Overall, the service was good. I just think customers should be aware of this practice and check their bill so they know that gratuity has already been added. read more

The food, though, is a different story, it's overpriced for what you get and honestly lacks flavor and variety. On the plus side, parking is free (even if it's sometimes a hunt), and the service has always been great. No complaints there. Ambiance is great. Been to cafe o few times and let me tell you , this place rocks . Food was great and fresh , the people running the place all had a good smile on . We sat outside and smoked hookah as well . Great ventilation to get the smoke out and the atmosphere was very welcoming.also Saturday nights they have a belly dancer comes in and dances next to your table . This is a conveniently located hookah lounge we decided to visit walking distance from our hotel . The service was great, the pizza was OK and so was my drink. Such a great time! This lounge is outside, but covered. There are two seating areas on either side of the "bar" area. There's food, but I haven't tried it. Every other table had a couple of dishes, though. The drinks are on the stronger side and quite sizable, which is nice. Cocktails are $14-$15, a reasonable price. Service was attentive, pleasant, and polite. Many thanks to the servers here! Parking wasn't difficult at all, as I parked in the free garage just behind the location. This lounge is right by the Burbank mall and a large outside shopping area, so there's plenty of parking options and also lots to do elsewhere. Vahe recommended the creamy combination of Pumpkin Pie and White peach ; while Tanya went above and beyond to guide us on some of their delicious menu selections which were a revelation to the palate. Hookah servers, you DO NOT know how to pack hookah. You don't. Ask Powers how he does it and be better. You don't know how to make a decent hookah bowl. No, you don't. Sorry. YOU. DON'T. It's TRASH, it burns quick, it doesn't smoke well. It's garbage. You're not good at it and we pay a lot of money for it. You have one job. I came here for work and immediately magnated to this spot because of it's family vibe. I see some of the same people everyday PROVING that it's loved. Came here on a random Tuesday (right after New Year's) and we were surprised that it was pretty busy. Their hookahs are reasonably priced, too bad they didn't have the pineapple one we wanted but they had the other flavors, which were good. They were attentive and kept checking the charcoal cubes every so often and giving us fresh ones when we needed them. We ordered the O Platter and it was delicious, it had a mix of appetizers. We loved the mozzarella sticks the most! We also got margaritas, too bad they weren't good. Overall a good experience. read more

I came to this restaurant on a Tuesday night (last night). Food is good, but be aware the service was horrible. It felt like waiting for a good period of time for my food to arrive. This place has taken a major decline from twenty years ago. I remember the service was actually good. Also, be aware that they charge a gratitude of 18% after 6pm without letting you know. I went to this place located in Burbank right across from the town center. They have a bar as soon as you enter there is no seating at the bar it's just for staff use. This place offers only outdoor seating one area to the right and the other area to the left. They let us pick which side we wanted to sit on. They offer a variety of food options, full bar cocktails and drinks, and hookah. Their service was great, vibes were great it was calm and welcoming, music was a mixed variety. Prices were affordable the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they gratuity was automatically added to the check and I like to tip at my own leisure for the amount I feel called to provide based on my own judgement and the quality of service etc. There was only two of us and the total added for about 15 percent. I recommended going despite that oversight! Go when the sun goes down or in the night because they only offer an outdoor experience! read more

My friends and I decided to give this place a try on Sunday night, and the experience was disappointing. Service was poor from the start--no one came to our table for quite a while. We ordered fruit tea and a hookah, along with a fruit platter. The platter was $55, but when we asked the waitress what kinds of fruits were included or the size of the platter, her answer came off dismissive and almost mocking: "it's... like a plate... with like... fruit." When the platter arrived, they only gave us one spoon for the entire table and said they were out of utensils, and I asked for tooth picks AT LEAST- and she handed us 4 singular tiny toothpicks out of her hands. It felt careless and unprofessional. The overall atmosphere wasn't welcoming either--it came across more like a backyard hangout spot rather than a comfortable lounge. Between the overpriced fruit, dismissive service, and lack of basic hospitality, this just wasn't worth it. We won't be coming back. read more

This place is fun! The hookah and conversation is always a good time. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because the food is overpriced for the quality of what you get. Furthermore, last time we went they added a new "one drink policy" that forces the customer to buy a drink. They say that water bottles count as part of the drink policy but water should be free in my opinion. The ambiance is nice and I like that it's outdoors and comfortable. Hookah flavors are good too.
