I was looking for a hookah lounge while in LA we stumbled on Mojo from Yelp, very cool ambiance. We didn't have any reservation @ 8:30 pm on a Friday but we were able to walk right in and get a table. The staff were very attentive, I would definitely recommend and come back again!

Good hookah, try George's mix with cola and basil. Service was great and hookah was smooth. Also cheesecake was homemade 10/10.

Visited this place many times with my friends. They do have valet service which is $12. Parking is always a problem in this area but valet solved my problem. My mint tea with cheesecake was so delicious. and hookah itself is smooth. I had watermelon with mulberry and pear flavor, definitely it became one of my favorite. And ambiance is very lovely and staff made me feel like home. Friendly and polite! Overall my experience was 10/10.

This place just hits the right mood. Mojo Hookah Lounge feels easy, stylish, and very LA without trying too hard. The hookah was clean and flavorful, the music set the tone perfectly, and the whole place has that late-night energy where you don't feel rushed at all. The staff is very friendly and nice to everyone! It's the kind of spot you randomly discover and then keep in mind for future nights out. Definitely a solid find in Hollywood.

I was impressed by the interior. It is far better than average place in San Jose where I am from. Hookah guy is quite up to date in what he is doing and they have wide variety of tobacco to choose from. Not so many parking spots in front, so could be a problem.

Hookamonk best electric hookah! Amazing team with lots of knowledge of flavors and mixes. They can make any flavor you can think of. Highly recommend! Our hookah master Sam suggested good flavors for both of our hookahs. Give it a try, you will know this is the best hookah spot in all of LA!

I visited Mojo several times and every time it was a great experience. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable especially Sergei. He was very polite and helpful. My friend had a birthday this day and they served us the birthday special hookah . It was amazing! The vibe here is very chill and relaxing yet very classy.

Very disappointing experience. The service was unprofessional and the staff were extremely loud, which completely ruined the lounge atmosphere. Our server (a guy) also came across as condescending and dismissive rather than welcoming. The valet situation was the worst part. The sign clearly says $12 flat rate, but when we were leaving, the valet suddenly asked for $20, claiming our specific parking spot cost more even though we parked the car ourselves and were never told this beforehand. Overall, poor service and a very unprofessional experience. Definitely wouldn't come back read more

Visited Mojo Hookah again after the manager reached out to kindly explain the situation. This time around we had a much better experience. We ordered a fruit/mint flavored hookah and Dimitri certainly did not disappoint. I can truly appreciate an establishment that is willing to acknowledge a mishap with their patrons that may not have had a good experience. My wife and I stopped by this incredible hookah lounge for the first time. Walked in, lounge looked super chill and inviting. We were greeted by Constantine, who was so welcoming and nice as he talked us through different flavors. Honestly the best hookah I've had in some time, we also topped it off w a couple hot glasses of mint tea (which the staff continued to refill for us). We will definitely return, service alone was great - but the hookah was amazing! read more

Have not done hookah in a long time. My friend was visiting LA and Mojo happened to have the nicest looking hookah lounge. They did not disappoint. Yuri mixed something on his own according to what we wanted: fruity + refreshing. It was also on top of a pineapple which was interesting. Shout out to Yuri who demonstrated his hookah skills: making Os going into Os. I will definitely be back here again! read more

Wonderful atmosphere accompanied by excellent service! I ended up at the right hookah spot for my late Tuesday night birthday celebration. I can't wait to go back for another round. First impression: It's very discrete from the outside, there is valet parking as the streets get crowded quickly on that side of Hollywood. The interior is gorgeous and spacious, tables of all sizes from small booths, regular tabletops, to coves for larger groups. It smells great, everything is clean, and they have an instagrammable seating area for your next Story post. This is a dry space, so there's no alcohol. Service: It's is highly advised that you make a reservation (especially on the weekend, fortunately we went during a weeknight so it wasn't too hard to get one). You can contact them through Instagram, they'll most likely respond back after they open at 6:00pm. When they do respond, they're very helpful and polite! When we arrived they were more than happy to get our party started with hookahs and a variety of (non-alcoholic) drinks. I cannot remember the server's name but I do remember he is also a mixologist and he had some great recos for our hookah! Overall: I'm looking forward to another trip to Mojo soon and I'll drink beforehand lol read more

Karina was so friendly and offered to choose a hookah to suit my taste. She was patient and helped me choose from a variety of tobacco flavors . The DJ on the main floor, however, didn't seem to be mixing much and mostly replayed the same songs after about 30 minutes. The service was spectacular. We ordered three bottles, which came with a pitcher of juice and four hookahs. You could choose to add mint flavor to the hookah or leave it out, though it still had a slight hint of mint even without it. Everyone also ordered individual drinks, which were about $25 each, and the wine bottle was $85. Anything we needed was brought to us quickly. We didn't get the private belly dancers, I guess they didn't come to work. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again for a special event.

Low and behold 22% tip and she charged us for water when I asked for tap water. I go back to her and show her the receipt and she is like oh I don't know what that is. I have never seen that before. Pleassseeeeee What a scam artist, she probably has done that to everyone there but everyone there is on a date and no one wants to be embarassed. Well IDGAF. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from beginning to end. First, the parking situation was misleading. There was a sign showing $12 parking, but after we parked ourselves, nobody informed us that we would actually be charged $20. We weren't even offered valet service--we parked our own car--so the extra charge made no sense. The service was honestly one of the worst I've experienced. The male server had a dismissive attitude from the moment we arrived. He spoke to us very casually, using slang and an overly familiar tone, as if we had known each other for years. It didn't feel like we were guests in a lounge--it felt disrespectful and completely unprofessional. On top of that, he handled everything carelessly. He would put bottles and glasses on the table abruptly instead of serving them properly. The entire interaction felt rushed and rude. We had to ask for absolutely everything: napkins, cups, and every little thing that should have been provided without asking. When I asked him to help me choose a hookah because I wasn't sure what to order, instead of helping, he responded with, "Have you even smoked hookah before? I don't know." I was genuinely shocked. If a guest asks for a recommendation, the appropriate response is to help--not make them feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Another issue was the staff's behavior. The lounge itself was relatively quiet, but the employees standing together in the corner were laughing loudly, yelling, and making more noise than all the guests combined. It completely ruined the atmosphere that a hookah lounge is supposed to have. The drinks were also served in bottles without being poured, and the same server asked us, "Do you guys need cups?" Seriously? We're at a hookah lounge. Why would guests be expected to drink straight from the bottle? Overall, this was one of the most unprofessional dining experiences I've had. Between the misleading parking fee, the rude and careless service, the loud staff, and the complete lack of hospitality, I honestly don't understand how this level of service is considered acceptable. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

I recently visited Mojo Hookah Lounge in LA, and honestly, I didn't expect to be this impressed. The staff is caring, funny, and always thoughtful. This place gets busy but they always accommodate. Additionally, they carry all the best tobacco companies (fumari, al fakher, tangier, lavoo, etc.) Personally I recommend ordering a watermelon bowl as it adds a little flavor and makes the session significantly longer. The best Hookah lounge in Town is definately Mojo. Whereever you go in Los Angeles, the hookah cafe are conjested. People blowing smoke on each other faces beacuse therebis no space between tables. But here, its so spacious. Restroom is clean here (it's very important for me). Many hookah cafes have pretty filthy restrooms. They dont have food though, but drinks and snakcs menu is good. I have tried some good new tobacco from Lavoo called "Russian Tea" . I can't explain how it taste but its really amazing. Got addicted to it. Besides all that Mojo has pretty big selection of flavors which is not on menu. So you have to ask them if they can surprise you with something. Interior is really nice. So good to get a both for a date with girl. Very convenient Valet parking which is only 6$. I didn't need to ride around to look at the parking spot. Lots of other goo things at this lounge, my recommendation just go and try it yourself. read more

I recently moved to California from Germany and as hookah is pretty big in Germany I had to try it here.. I've seen the Mojo lounge and just by the look from outside it seemed promising. The hookah is good in taste and it has a damn nice smoke! the price is reasonable if you think of the location and the many sorts of tobacco and quality they have they also offer snacks which is great the service is really good and friendly. location, interior and the music is very nice! I'm a regular guest here for more that 3 years. I can say that I didn't have any issues with the service or quality of the hookah. Great environment and outstanding flavors waiting for you here. If you haven't try Mojo's hookah. That simply means you didn't have any good hookah. No food here, but they serve big selection of snacks and drinks. Pleasant music. This is like one of the best hookah lounge I ever been in Los Angeles. I definitely recommend for big parties and they carry a lot of different kind of flavors. Design and interior is luxury. Comfortable sits and staff here is super friendly and warming. Hookahs are super clean looking with LED light. Perfect location and they have also valet parking. Reasonable price for hookah and service. Also you can ask for games such chests, checkers, cards and jenga. We choose to play JENGA. Make sure to try their TEA very delicious. read more

Everything was good! Have to say the service and hookah were AMAZING. These guys really know what they are doing. Great job!!! Excellent flavors and a HUGE variety of different tobacco brands. You've gotta try the pineapple bowl with "blue mist kiwi mint" flavor as they recommend me and it's fantastic. Make sure you have a reservation cause sometimes it's very busy, but beside of that I've got my order with no delay. They been checking me all the time. Btw pomegranate tea is the best! I've been traveling around the world a lot, and now im in LA. So i decided to try local hookah lounge. I found Mojo Hookah Lounge in Hollywood area. So, in my opinion, this is one of the good ones lounges with hookah i've been so far. The have many of flavors selections of tobacco, all unique hookahs from Germany and other countries. The prices are high , but its reasonable. Just one tips to all people who is going to go there, make sure you bring your ID. Because you have to be 21 and up to smoke in California. read more

Its a fantastic place! My husband and i sometimes drive all the way from SD just to smoke hookah here! It has a wonderful interior, very ambient, with some outdoor seeting as well. The hookahs here are top notch, one of the best we've tried anywhere in California. There is a wide variety of tobacco as well. Id recommend it both to any hookah connoisseur and also to anyone trying it for the first time. The service is amazong and all the workers are incredibly helpful and friendly!
