Drinks were sooooooooo good! Tasty, fruity, and strong. Interior and bathroom are clean. I like how the staff was cleaning often. However, it took forever to get one of my drinks. It had a custom foam print on it and I saw that it was done but it took 5 minutes just to get it because the bartender was too busy taking another order. I would have ordered more if service was quicker. Parking was $25. I would come here again though the drinks were just that good. Love the interior

I attended a Gui Fieri look-alike contest at Zero Lounge and was in flavortown all night! The venue is a curated Y2K themed gem in Hollywood just down the street from other venerated cultural institutions like the Funko Museum. There is space for dancing, there is space for lounging; the unique charm and theme can't be found anywhere else. You can carry a conversation without Naruto running to the smoking lounge, and you don't have to use your cosplay's megaphone to order from the very kind bar staff. A secure and walkable parking lot just a block away, friendly security, a genuinely nice manager who genuinely supports the DJs and performers, an N64 controlled easter egg video game, affordable pizza down the block, it's pretty much the hangout spot in Hackers - and I'm going to start a rumor right here that Angelina Jolie was spotted hanging out last weekend. The Fieri themed event was a blast (literal fire), and the creative energy in the room was contagious. Zero Lounge is always partnering with super talented creatives, and I could tell that a lot of care and thought went into crafting an experience that celebrates fun, originality, and community. I'm already looking forward to my next chance to log-in! Overall, I'd rate my experience a solid 1999/2000 stars (see what I did there ;). If you're seeking a unique, spirited night out in Hollywood, Zero Lounge is definitely worth checking out!

Had my Britney birthday party and it was incredible. The staff was super accommodating and just lite us like, totally let loose when it came to throwing a themed birthday party here. The crew here has a genuine passion for nostalgia. The music, the drinks, and the vibes were so on point. I'll be back next week for Sunday karaoke!

This place is awesome! Came here for a Y2K burlesque show by Minx Pop, and it did not disappoint! The owner Kevin is extremely nice, and the male bartenders were fun! They had great music, and good vibes. They also had really good mock tails, and drinks you can have stuff printed on! 10/10

Zero Lounge is an incredible hidden gem in Los Angeles that you don't want to pass up. The ambience is fun, relaxing, and the energy picks up and gets intense on the dancefloor without ever feeling overwhelming. I came to Zero Lounge and was immediately greeted by an incredibly charismatic doorman before I stepped in to an arcade retrostyle tunnel with neon lighting. The venue has amazing drinks themed with millenial taste, and very high quality ingredients. My friend Mark who doesn't drink ordered a grapefruit mocktails and we watched the woman squeeze the grapefruit and garnish it with dried fruits. It was so awesome. There are also tomagotchi and smuckers drinks that come with small PB&Js affixed, and the tip jar was for rugrats v hey arnold. Hey Arnold for life as a new yorker. The venue has seating where I connected and danced with new friends and was able to speak personally for HOURS. I was able to go outside in a smoking area with privacy, return and enter no cover, and I ended up staying all night dancing to many incredible artists who SHREDDED nineties hits. every time i got fatigued, Kesha or Natasha Bedingfield or HOOBASTANK came on, i HAD to get up for HOOBASTANK WHAT?!?!? my father kicked me out of the car when i was twelve for telling him HoobaSTINKS! THIS IS IMPORTANT HISTORICAL REVERENCE IN THIS BAR!! i never dance til one am. I was completely sober. There is true dedicated community here, blended with tourists and newcomers, and I can tell the staff are committed to its value. They were conscious and respectful the whole time and I made friends with them. Here are pictures. There are pokemon. You should go.

Had soooo much fun here - came to watch Minx Pop Burlesque and it was such a vibe. All the bartenders were so attentive and adorable, the dancers did sooo good. Hope they do monthly performances here!

Zero Lounge is a full-on Y2K time machine--neon, glitter, and all the early 2000s vibes you never knew you missed. The drinks? Total fire. Perfect spot to sip cocktails and vibe out to nostalgic jams.

A couple things to note: there is parking available, but it is paid (you can either text to pay or use the kiosk machines). I enjoyed it so much that I ended up ordering three more, never getting around to trying anything else. I finally was able to check it off, thanks to a hotel offer with a dining credit. Dahlia is the gorgeous petite space behind the larger ground floor restaurant space now called Cabrillo (formerly Caldo Verde). Dahlia opened as a bespoke cocktail lounge, then began to offer tea. Now it's just tea. There are five 2-tops and two 4-top tables. All food and beverage venues at the Proper used to be under the auspices of famed chef Suzanne Goin and her business partner/sommelier Caroline Styne. They are no longer affiliated with the Proper, but many of their dishes/contributions remain. The last named vestige of them is on the tea menu, "Suzanne's Deviled-Egg Sandwich". The tea menu has several options: Classic, with a seasonal mocktail, or with different champagnes. I opted for the Classic experience, because the mocktail had mocha, not my fave. Server Lluvia was clearly a Dahlia veteran; she offered a tea-smelling of all the teas that interested me as well as crowd favourites. I ultimately chose one of these faves, Mad Hatter's Tea Party, which had passionfruit and vanilla. I declined milk/cream, but did get lemon. There were rock sugar sticks on the table. It seems the selection of tea sandwiches and sweet treats changes every so often, although the vanilla bean scone, dried currant scone, Devonshire cream and apricot orange jam seem like constants. The sandwich selection at my visit were: cucumber, crab/creme fraiche, beet hummus on pita, smoked salmon and Suzanne's deviled egg. All were delish, the beet, crab and deviled egg especially. The sweet treats were: orange fig butter cookie, spiced apple brown butter crumble, cranberry frangipane hand pie, chocolate mocha macaron, pumpkin madeleine, plus the 2 scones. All were excellent. There were no leftovers. A bit pricey, but a relaxing and lovely experience. The room was not crowded when I visited, adding to the calmness of my visit.

We had two separate servers because one went home during the middle of our dinner and both were equally horrible. Not even exaggerating when I say we waited at least 15 minutes after we asked for the check and there were probably only 10 tables in the entire restaurant. And we had to call her back over to ask for a second time. SMH. The food although flavorful was so ridiculously priced it was not even funny. I got a "ribeye ". Was literally eight thin slices of steak, like 1" x 1" size for $42! No, I will not be coming back here for so many reasons. The view is great. Castaways is definitely not what it used to be in the way of quality but at least you get more and you get the view. But definitely not worth it going to this place. It was quite a frustrating evening. Also, if you do decide to go here, just bring a coat when it's a little bit cooler in the evenings cause it does get cold up here and getting the staff to manage the heaters correctly is a whole other frustration. Oh, and valet is your only option for parking up here. It's kind of crazy because a few years ago you could just go park in the lot or the garage that's available there but now they're charging you $11 and it's chaos. I will say that the view up here is great though so if you're willing to forgo all of that for a view for like a one time date or something like that, it might be worth it

Sorry for the long narrative:…read more 1) I planned out a special night for my wife throughout all of Level 8 2) Had reservations set at Lucky Mizu for Dinner to Mr. Wanderlust for Cocktails and Entertainment and then to Sinners and Santos for Drinking and Dancing for Latin Night 3) Showed up for our 6:45 PM reservation at Lucky Mizu but was turned away 3 times stating they didn't have seats available. After being seated 40 minutes later, service took 20 minutes to take our order, and another 30 minutes to be served. Food was 'okay', there was no entertainment, and multiple customers were unhappy with similar slow service... but some of them were comped parts of their meals.. we didn't even get a sorry until we spoke to the manager on our way out, expressing the reason was they had no idea it would be this busy on a Thursday (they take reservations, so...), and also blamed an 'all you can eat promotion' they promoted earlier, and they only had two serves on staff that night. 4) We were late to Mr. Wanderlust, but were luck to get two seats at the bar after another couple left. We order two cocktails and a coffee... and were charged just over $140. Then, we were asked to move because they wanted to take our seats. We asked about the bill to the bartendar, and she expressed that since she didn't take our original order, she couldn't help us. She simply just had us stand there. We were not going to pay since it seemed way off... until finally we spoke to a guy walking by. We showed him our ticket/receipt and said out loud, "this isn't right". He came back quickly with a revised bill of almost $120. This was still far too high, but no one else seemed interested in helping us find resolve, so we ate it since we didn't want to be late for part 3 of the night. 5) Hoping to salvage the night with drinks and dancing... we tried to find the entrance to Sinners and Santos for their advertised Latin night. We had made reservations here too, and had full confirmation of the reservation... BUT, after finally being directed to the entrance (outside on the patio), they were closed. No sign of why and no one who worked at the other locations had a reason, but they were just simply closed. 6) So, after paying $35 for parking, about $140 in cocktails and food while waiting for our initial reservation at Golden Hour and Que Barbaro, $150+ for dinner at Lucky Mizu, and $120 at Mr. Wanderlust... approximately $500 total... we didn't even get to dance. Maybe this place had a bad night, but based on what the workers said, and how they treated us... it sure seems like the norm. Don't get me wrong, the place is cool... some really great experiential elements and nice photo ops... but I would have had a much better time somewhere else. Super disappointed in this place.
