I've been coming here for over 10 years and have never had an experience like this. The new male worker at the front has a serious attitude problem and seems to seat larger parties or people he knows before customers who have already been waiting in line. This has happened to me and my friends the last 3 times I visited. Whatever happened to first come, first served? The inconsistency and favoritism were really frustrating, especially as a longtime loyal customer. There's no reason customers should be met with attitude just for trying to eat here. Throughout the years we've frequented this place for hookah + their food has been fairly decent. I just saw another yelped had a bad experience and can confirm they're going downhill with cleanliness and food quality + portion. I ordered a chicken fattoush salad- the hot chicken was placed on top of lettuce in the container which wilted and the phot I've uploaded is the amount of salad it came with. Ridiculous literally a few bites which doesn't make sense at all. The dressing and marinade of everything was also overly garlicky and inedible and the bread was not pita and was definitely not zaatar spiced as the menu states. This was our go-to place with our friends, unfortunately however tonight's visit closed that chapter. When I was served my plate of fries, I grabbed the ketchup bottle that was on our table. Nothing came out when I was squeezing so I opened the tube, completely unprepared for what I was about to see. MOLD!! Right where the exit hole for the ketchup is. How disgusting. Who knows how many people squirted mold-contaminated ketchup unknowingly. Not only that, when we got the check, my boyfriend put his card on the tab. Surprisingly for a hookah lounge, it had really tasty food. We got the fatoush salad and it was nicely seasoned. We also got regular fries and a cheese pizza with jalapeños. The fries had a nice crunch and the cheese on the pizza tasted fresh. It is mostly outdoor seating, they do have heaters but if its cold out, definitely take a jacket with you. The hookah was good, a nice selection, and lasted us the two hours we were there. The hookah guys periodically came and switched out the coals. We love this spot so much. It's not too far from our place so we visit very often. We like to go during the week for some hookah and also dinner. Their menu is very delicious, great food all around. If I could I would give this place 4 and a half stars out of 5. This place looks small but they have a lot of seating both inside and outside. We were not sure if they had parking there but we winded up finding parking on the street. Me and my girl both ordered kabobs and it was pretty good. We both did not like the rice though. I got a chance to go to The Atmosphere last night and really enjoyed my time there. They are located on San Fernando so you can find parking along the main street or the side streets. When we got there there was a bit of a wait, so we put down our name on the list and ended up waiting about 45 minutes for a table. They have a pretty extensive food menu with appetizers, kabobs, and beverages. They also have a good variety of tobacco flavors and brands. I did not have any food this time around, but someone else at our table ordered mozzarella sticks with fries and it looked really delicious! I did, however, have brewed black tea and it was actually really delicious. I had three cups because of how good it was! Our hookah was Now With Melon/Foreplay/Cane. They brought it out not even 10 minutes after we ordered and it was hitting perfectly the entire time we were there. They were also very attentive with bringing coals. The overall service was amazing. They constantly checked on us and made sure our drinks were refilled and we were satisfied. We were helped out by Naeiri who was really friendly, as well as another blonde girl who I did not find out the name of. The owner Arbi was also going around the restaurant making sure everything was going smoothly. I really appreciate owners who are on top of their businesses. They have great service and are attentive and continue to bring hot coals throughout the time you are there. The food is exceptional!!! It's freshly made when you order and you can tell it's homemade, like you're in Grandma's kitchen. TIP - add chicken to salad. The chicken kebab is soooo good! It's super tender and juicy! Parking is street parking but there is a lot available. It's also best to get there in the early evening to get a table. You may have to wait 20 minutes or so to get s table but it's worth the wait. The politics of this lounge is just far too great to overcome for the average goer. Where do I even begin? I had been waiting outside for an hour and forty-five minutes, being told that my party is next on the list. As I was waiting, four different groups of people parked their car, walked in, greeted the waitress and sat down before we were allowed to. I was not given word that they had been ahead of me, instead they kept reassuring me that I am next on the list. It is undeniably clear that the employees and waitresses are pandering to their friends before other customers. I had sat down and asked to move to a larger table and they denied my request, and then proceeded to let their friends move around as they pleased. I waited over forty five minutes to receive a hookah, claiming that they were really backed up. It takes less than five minutes to get a hookah ready. It is very obvious that the employees do not want to cater to people who are not their friends, they'd rather stand around and talk to other tables while you sit there and wait far too long for anything to be considered reasonable. Apprently I cannot be seated and be told to stand outside for just under two hours, while the whole time people are filtering in and out, greeting the employees, and jumping from table to table like they are playing hopscotch. read more

Extremely rude owner (Arbi) !! Avoid this place! Called their restaurant in advance was told it's ok to have a table for 8. After waiting for an hour and half in the street got a table only to be kicked out by Arbi shorty after because the owner and the rest of the staff were not on the same page. After coming to this place multiple times per week, we found hair in our food on 8/4/2022 and my friend politely told the manager Arbi to fix this and Maybe give us another hummus. We didn't want to make a scene so we told him quietly. Arbi then decided to completely ban and kick out our whole table. If an arrogant and pathetic manager treats his regulars who pay him thousands of dollars a month like this after his kitchen made a mistake. I'm sure the health department would love to hear from us with our proof. This is not how you run a business especially when it comes to how you treat your regulars. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN EVEN IF THE MANAGER APOLOGIZES. This is disgusting and frankly pathetic that this business is allowed to operate when they don't have health standards and treat their paying patrons like this. Please do not come here. My wife and I went here for a late date night before I have to go back to Seattle tomorrow and we'll be separated for a couple weeks. Things started out good. We were seated right away, the food came out quickly and it was fresh and tasty. We were enjoying our food and chatting for about 15 minutes before we started to wonder where our hookah order was. Our waiter hadn't come back at all so we asked the guy who was bringing fresh coals to another table how long it usually takes to receive the hookah. He said it should only be about 5 minutes and we heard him remind our waiter that we had ordered a hookah. We continued eating and after another 20 minutes passed we were close to done with our food and I had finished my coffee but our hookah still had not come. Our waiter cleared the table next to us after they left but he kept his back to us and still did not check on us. We observed other tables being checked on frequently and their hookah orders were coming out quickly. The only difference was all of the other tables were Armenian or middle eastern and my wife is Hispanic and I'm mixed race/clearly not Armenian. Since no one ever checked on us my wife ended up having to go inside to ask why we still hadn't received our hookah and they said the waiter had forgotten to put in our order, even though we had ordered it at the same time as the food and we did hear the other server remind him once about our hookah, but apparently he forgot to put in the order a second time even after being reminded. After my wife had to go inside to ask about our hookah they brought it out but by that time we were pretty much done eating, I'd finished my coffee and it was nearly midnight. We felt unwelcome at this place. Our date night was ruined and we had been ignored for over 45 minutes so we paid for our food and left without getting to enjoy hookah with our food and drinks.
