Dog friendly in case you were wondering. Came here for dinner with a friend. Always passed by but never tried. Food was good. A bit pricey but the atmosphere is nice! We were wondering if the menu is the same as amici! I've had better tiramisu but it was still okay. Small for $12

Blink and you'll miss it, Ombra has been my wife's and I go-to for pasta and gin spot when we're spending an afternoon at The Americana. Even before Din Tai Fung moved inside The Galleria, we've always enjoyed our shopping break at this stylish patio, serving Italian dishes and cocktails as if while we're on holiday. Y'all- today was a day! It's a sunny Saturday on International Women's Day and Ombra was visibly busy and short staffed. A longer than typical wait to be seated, they still did their best ensuring my wife and I along with everyone else had a great dining experience. Shout out to our server (and I believe manager too) Scott, for going above and beyond for us today. He was multi-tasking while maintaining operations and providing customer service. I hope the day turned around for him and his team. We always pick dining outside when given the opportunity especially on a beautiful weekend afternoon here in LA. Ombra is that dining option when you happen to be at The Americana either on a random day, on a day-date, or meet with a friend for "a drink" day. Check them out!

Let me paint you a picture. Glendale, CA at the Americana at Brand. Weather sitting at a low 70 degree weather and the sun shining in the sky. It screams patio weather. I couldn't help but sit outside and bask in glory of this glorious afternoon. Ombra is located right in the middle of the Americana and its outdoor patio seating was exactly the vibe for today. As Ombra is a wine bar, I started my meal off with a Pinot Noir. Delicate and a bit tart, a great way to prepare for my meal. For an appetizer, I ordered the Minestrone. The soup was a great starter, light and warm, the lentils and vegetables were perfect and the soup itself was warm and embracing. Lastly, for the main course, the Rigatoni Alla Norcina. The pasta was cooked perfectly , but the parmesan cream sauce and truffle oil really put this dish over the top. I added a bit of red chili flakes as well which added a bit of kick. Credit to the staff as they also treated me with such warmth and paid attention to every detail. So now the negative. I would consider Ombra a bit of a fishbowl, as it is in the middle of the Americana, it can't be helped however, as it is open air as well, you can't help feel like you are in a bit of fishbowl. I would recommend this for light gatherings and hangouts, but not for a serious date night. Other than that, I really enjoyed dinning here and look forward to the next time.

Had a really great dinner at Ombra the other day. Everything was 10/10 - food and wine, speed of service, the atmosphere. I asked for the spinach ravioli with their pesto sauce instead of marinara and it was delicious!

The restaurant has beautiful ambiance with their outdoor seating. I was able to people watch at the Americana, which was great! My pasta was cooked beautifully and the sauce was packed with so much authentic flavor. I was so so happy with it. My mom's drink was really good too. I'd definitely come back to this place for pasta.

Great ambiance great service. It's a beautiful outdoor dining area with a nice bar in the corner. The bartenders make delicious drinks. I always get the Spritz. It's build your own. First you pick the base, then the sparkling drink and then the toppings. I got a Campari spritz with sparkling yuzu and added strawberry and basil. Served over ice. Cold and delicious on a hot summer day. Sitting outdoors and enjoying the water fountain show and the music. Really a great ambiance. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and a pizza. Both delicious and filling and just the perfect portion for lunch. We had an amazing lunch break.

Food - good Italian food. Complementary bread came out first. I ordered the Rigatoni alla Norcina at $18.95. It comes with Italian crumbled sausage and mushrooms in a cream sauce and drizzled with truffle oil. Rich in taste and they serve it sparingly. Twas delish and priced right in my opinion. You can taste the truffle oil and the mushrooms. I had leftovers and I reheated it in the microwave and had it for lunch another day. Also ordered the latte and that was ok. Food seems dynamite and worth a return trip in the future since I am about 1.5 hours away so whenever that would be next, I will excitingly await! I want to try so much more! Service - it was good, fast and knowledgable. Dining - it was a cold night but they had the outdoor heaters going so it was great! The experience of alfresco dining in the middle of the Americana at the Brand was spectacular. Verdict - definitely worth trying and going back for seconds and repeat business in my opinion. Great food, good ambiance, and service was good. We enjoyed it and would deserve another visit someday soon.

If you want a good atmosphere and a beautiful place, then this is the place for you. The food is very tasty, but the service is slow. Overall, I liked everything.

Great spot to grab a few drinks while waiting for your DTF reservation. Love that the drinks were very customizable as if you're building a car.

Great ambience in this open-air patio with a bar and tables for parties of 2-4. I parked at the Galleria and walked over to the Americana on a Saturday at 5:30pm. Due to the limited table space, there was a wait of about 10-15 minutes. Luckily, my friend and I were seated in the shaded booth against the vibrant plant wall. Cue the 20-minute photo session! Our server was hilarious and joked that she didn't want to hear us complain about the food being cold. - Build Your Own Gin and Tonic ($16-21 depending on your choice of gin). I think I did the Amass Dry Gin with elderflower tonic and lemon + rosemary garnish. It was aesthetic and yummy. - Insalata di Barbabietole / Beet salad ($15.35). Tasty, and they did not skimp on the toppings. Mixed greens, roasted red and golden beets, blue cheese, candied pecans, green apples, and balsamic vinaigrette. I don't usually like beets, so I was pleasantly surprised that I preferred the golden beets. - Rigatoni alla Norcina / Creamy pasta with sausage ($18.95). Creamy and umami sauce with plenty of crumbled sausage and mushrooms. The fresh rigatoni was chewy, but some pieces were too al dente for me.

The bartenders definitely make well balanced, delicious concoctions. And then our food came: Mmm! So many vibrant flavors! Fresh, popping zings of ginger and garlic on the noods, delectable brisket with brightness from the red onion and cilantro wrapped in a comfort blanket of bao, break a sweet sweat from chilis on the spicy tofu noodles, green, bright, and lip smacking umami on the brussels, and bbq perfection on the meat. Very friendly and they provide great service. Their brews menu is TOP NOTCH! The first time I had a P.O.G. cider (not theirs,) and this last time I had their own branded "Resolution Juice" hard seltzer. Honestly I expected something similar to a White Claw or other canned hard seltzer, but this was completely different. The menu stated it had notes of mango, prickly pear, and key lime and I was able to taste all of those flavors. One of the best brews I've had in a while! Their food menu is also awesome. Their vegan lumpia is great, vegan chicken sandwich is great, and this last time I had their wonton chicken salad which was super flavorful and rich. In keeping with their MO, The Lucky Tiki is a speakeasy with a vintage vibe. I won't give away how to get in but let's just say, it's near the front of Highland Park Bowl. My husband and I didn't have a reservation, but we were able to put our name in and got seated about an hour or so later. I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! It's just floor to ceiling decorated with everything tiki. So many fun details and even interactive elements that turn on when a particular drink was ordered. That was probably my favorite part honestly. We ordered the Tiki Diablo, which is a large tiki drink with a flaming volcano. And yes it does have an interactive element. It was really good. Very fruity and strong, but not overly so. Service was excellent. Our waitress was on it and even waited to make sure my husband was back from the bathroom before lighting our drink on fire. We didn't try any food this time, but a lot of people were ordering the Hawaiian pizza. Do with that what you may. Will definitely be back ti try more drinks and food.
