Hovig made it so easy and enjoyable process where it all just flowed. The food was beyond amazing. Perfect vibe all over. Hookah was great. Best best decision I made was doing a private event here. All my guests enjoyed themselves and all I got was how awesome the service was and overall great vibe. DJ Arman was there that day he was wow played the perfect and right songs. Came here last week with a group of friends. Everything was amazing. From the appetizers to the drinks to the hookah to the main course. I ordered a spicy margarita for my drink and the hamburger for dinner. The drink was soo good, right balance of spice and alcohol. The hamburger was high quality and delicious! Our hookah flavor was ambrosia/white peach and lasted the entire night without needing to me replaced! Service was very good and each employee was friendly and attentive. A group of friends and I went to the Brandy for dinner last Saturday to celebrate our friend's birthday. We had such a wonderful time, which is nice since we drove from Santa Monica to get there... it was well worth it! The food is so good and flavorful. The DJ and belly dancer are top notch! Every song is a great song, even the Armenian songs which we had never heard before. We danced the night away right around our table as did the packed house. The food is incredible and with proper portion sizes. Their espresso martini is the best I've had, by far. My usual go-to for dinner is the Arrabbiata. The hookah quality is the closest to a nice, "home-made" hookah, producing big clouds. The owners and manager are open to feedback and are constantly innovating, making The Brandy the place to be, just about every day of the week; always keeping you on your toes with their entertainment, which includes a variety of musicians, dancers, & DJs, trivia nights, salsa/bachata nights, comedy nights, and hookah/mezcal-tasting nights. The list never ceases to grow. If you go on your birthday, and someone makes it known to the waiter/waitress, you can count on a bouquet of sparklers to greet you at some point throughout the night. this place is awesome. music is bumping from the outside and as we walked in the incredible performance was already starting. if you don't like extremely loud music, this may not be the place for you. it is a little hard to talk to the people next to you. I'm sure that it was because of the performance tho and that the music isn't always at that level. We had the Blueberry Mule cocktail, the flavor was great, my only complaint is that mine was strained and my friends was not and was a lil chunky so consistency was a little off. Still delicious. We got the Trio of Dips to share and it was incredible. We also got the Truffle and Steak Sandwich bites which were to die for. Hookah is available but we didn't partake. I usually never write reviews and this is actually my first. I had dinner here with my sister. We both had the chicken kabob plates. About half and hour after leaving we both felt sick. I called to inform them of my experience and the manager was insensitive. He responded "uhhh okay we will check our chicken thank you" and hung up. Initially, I had called them because I was actually concerned and thought they should know that their chicken was more than likely spoiled. With the response I received I feel that this should have been handled more professionally. Especially if they're gonna automatically charge 20% gratuity for a 2 person party. Their pasta by far the best pasta I've had in LA and even Italy. The seafood arrabbiata and gnocchi are my favorite on the menu. Service is always exceptional--you will never find yourself waiting 30 minutes for a server to look your way. They are constantly checking in on you to make sure you have everything you need. The hookah is on a different level. They have various mixes to choose from or you can create your own as usual. Hookah is not overpriced like some lounges and a session will easily last 2.5 hours--you won't even need a repack.
