Best dinner I had of 3 nights in Moab ... place has a restaurant and bar/lounge with tables. I sat at the bar and the service was super quick and friendly. The smoked turkey was good, but the peppercorn BBQ sauce was incredible (I literally just ate sauce at some point.) Fries were homemade and hashbrown casserole was also delicious. You can tell most of the stuff, if not all, is homemade. Great food, great service, all around great place. read more

The service here is great - very lovely staff. The food was pretty run of the mill BBQ - got the job done but I wouldn't go back. We really loved KC BBQ sauce - that was the favorite. So yummy! Welcomed our puppy with a bowl of water. The patio was covered and had misters. The food is delicious. Pulled park on the way up and Cobb salad with choice of meat on the return trip. We went here twice during our four day stay in Moab, mostly due to convenience, but also because we liked the food. I will be the first to admit that this isn't the best BBQ, however it is more than adequate. On my first visit, I had the three meat dinner consisting of beef brisket, St. Louis style ribs, and the sausage. The kitchen messed up and gave me pulled pork instead of brisket, so they brought me out some brisket. Yes! Four meat dinner! The pulled pork was the best thing on my plate. The sausage was spicy-ish and ok - better with some mustard. The ribs were juicy, moist, and packed with flavor. Unfortunately, the beef brisket was not smoky enough and lacked flavor overall. I chose green beens and coleslaw for my sides...liked the beans and was unimpressed by the slaw. During our second visit, I had the half rack of ribs and they were great. I don't remember what my sister and fiance ordered, but they both liked their meals. In a town with few eating options, I don't think that you can go wrong at The Blue Pig. read more

We were seated in a booth. The tables had blue glass tile edging, which gave a really cool effect with the mixture of white and blue lighting. There is a center island that looks like a bar, but is really one long large table at bar height, able to seat at least 15 people. Very cool setting for a group. Waitress was prompt and efficient. Blues music playing throughout and not too loud. There are three different bbq sauces on the table to choose from. Sweet, vinegar based, and mustard based. Catfish Po' Boy: Delicious. The catfish was crispy without excess oil and great flavor. Served on an Asiago Roll with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickles and our Ancho-Chile Mayo. The Asiago roll was light and soft, but I didn't really taste the asiago cheese that seemed to be only sprinkled on top. Prime Rib Philly: Delicious. The meat has a slight smokey flavor and was moist and tender. Sauteed Onions and Bell Peppers, topped with Provolone cheese and served on an Asiago Roll. Cole slaw: Yum! You could tell this was fresh made. Nice chunks of crispy cabbage, with a light mayo/vinegar dressing. French Fries: Delicious. Seems to be fresh cut. More on the order of shoestring fries. Crispy and plentiful. Onion Rings: Average. These were good, but nothing special. Just a plain breading lacking seasoning with onions that could have been sweeter. Would definitely return. read more

The Big n Nasty was great with the tri tips, HUGE portion of fried with beans, bacon bits, cheese and scallions. Could probably feed 4 easy. Half rack was smokey, and fall off the bone. The beans and rice was more like pork and beans! The more meat the better for me. KC wings were big and juicy too. Overall I would go back, the server was really helpful and friendly. read more

This restaurant was a little disappointing. Their brisket was not very tender and the cornbread was not great.

I got a full rack of ribs and split it with my brother. Perfect way to do it, it was the perfect amount of food. Ribs are delicious, they have great flavor and look great as well. We ordered some wings for appetizer and they were pretty good. I have to say everything but the ribs was good. I was not a fan of the ribs. They had no smoke flavor and all that you tasted was bbq sauce. The meat fell off so had to eat with a fork. I usually like my ribs to be able to eat the meat off the bone. Wow. Was only listed as 3.5 stars when we went. We were very impressed with the food! House made pig skins as an appetizer was a first for me! Burnt ends were delicious! Thin house cut French fries, nuff said. Server was new so they get a break. We are finding that in Moab, the seasonality of the place keeps servers on a revolving door so expect that everywhere you go in Moab. read more

This place has great sides! The fries, fried okra, and onion rings were wonderful. The Burnt Ends sandwich was half thick fat and cubed brisket. Stumbled into this place on St. Patrick's Day. We weren't expecting much based on the mediocre reviews but were pleasantly surprised. Service was great, food was excellent, drinks were top notch, and there was a live band that was phenomenal particularly considering the cover was only 5$!! Food was slow in coming, tiny side salad on a saucer, really? The pulled pork was possibly frozen and reheated, very mushy, and the sweet potato fries were a little limp. I know it's hard to get them crispy, but it can be done. No butter or honey with the cornbread tiny muffin! My meal was a bust. My husband had the baby backs and said they were ok. The dirty rice was bland. We went because of good reviews on Yelp. Come on people, we're here to help each other. Blues music in the bar sounded good and beer selection was fair. While on Main Street in Moab, it is "off the beaten path." We came here after not wanting to wait over 1 1/2 hours at a different place, and was pleasantly surprised. Sat down right away, on the patio, none the less. Very nice after a long day of hiking. Drinks came right away, and their Blue Pig Lager was really good. Probably the highlight of the visit. While I was looking forward to BBQ after a long day of hiking and driving, the Blu Pig didn't hold up to the reviews it had online. The wait time from ordering to food being in front of use took over an hour. When the food arrived our rack of ribs was cold and not fully cooked, even though they claim they cook them for two days before serving. The waiter didn't seem to want to check on our table before or after the food was served. While we were waiting for our food, two of the three tables around us had to send back orders. One had raw chicken wings and the other had problems with there ribs as well. We would have rather gone to McDonald's and pay the same amount for my meal. read more

Went with the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Nice smoky flavor that I haven't tasted in a long time. The house BBQ sauces were a delight, however I wish I didn't use so much. It covered up the delicious flavor of the pork. The lady that served my was awesome! Very southern personality but she was from Moab.
