Stopped by for a night coming for South Dakota . After dinner , walked downtown Cody. We found this Ice cream shop and it was good. I got the Bourbon Maple pecan and I will recommend this flavor. Not too sweet , very creamy and lots of pecan nuts. The service was very good. The place is clean .

Some of the best ice cream in town. We liked it so much we came twice. Place is great, seating in back and front of store. Service was, as good as any teenage girl in the middle of summer, rather be with friends than at work, kinda service.

Literally the best ice cream I have ever had - apparently they make it onsite! To be fair, I usually buy Talenti Gelato when the urge hits me - and do not frequent artisanal ice cream shops (assuming there is such a thing) - but this is really my best! . Many cool, interesting flavors - but not gross and weird flavors (for the most part) like theme park ice cream - all interesting and tasty (based on the ones I tried). More like FINE DINING flavor chemistry than an ice cream shop! I went with honeycomb and strawberry vinaigrette. Clean new store. The employees were a delight and catered to the whims and questions of my children. Five emphatic stars!

Excellent simplistic branding. Minimalistic and modern. Service is wonderful. The best word to describe the staff is "fun". Good quality ice cream. As for flavors, I REALLY enjoyed the London fog. It has a mild tea and bergamot flavor. Pleasant in a subdued way. It also kind of reminds me of the milk left in the bowl after eating Fruity Pebbles. I unfortunately wasn't a fan of the coffee bomb flavor, and I LOVE coffee desserts. It had a pronounced enough flavor i.e. there was enough coffee in it. However, it tasted a bit like old coffee or a cheap brand of coffee. But I do know a lot of others who like it!

The bright neon at The Bigg Chill says it all.

Wow and wow. This is the place to get your ice-cream in Cody. Unique flavors and they have samples. Dubai Chocolate Bar was our favorite.

What delicious ice cream!! The price is high, but well worth it. All four of us had different flavors and all were scrumptious.

It's a must if you're ever in Cody! (And bring your appetite!)…read more On a recent cross-country road trip, we spent the night in Cody, WY. Dad (who is 87) was with us and we had trekked over to the Proud Cut Saloon as it was not too far from our hotel and was open. The place was packed, and we didn't have a rezzie. The staff managed to find us a table and seated us quickly even still. Our server (Holly) was fantastic! She had great recommendations and was pleasant the entire evening (even though she was juggling a full load of tables). The food was delicious - skirt steak and prime rib were cooked to perfection, and my father enjoyed the senior steak platter that included onion rings as big as his head! Bread pudding for the dessert win. Everything, even the cocktails, came out quickly and without issue. We are so happy we found the Proud Cut Saloon!

But when we had our server's attention she was very thorough, friendly and kind. She did a good job helping us! There were many flies at our table which made it rather unpleasant to enjoy the meal. We began with an order of onion rings which were pretty good. I had the Pilot Peak burger which was ok, another had the Index Mountain burger, she ate half and took the rest home, proclaiming it was even better the next dry! The men both ordered the Buffalo Bill Ribeye. My husband raved about his but unfortunately our friend's was inedible- it was all grizzle and fat. He didn't ask for a new one but they did tell the chef and they removed it from our bill. Very sad that the chef let that come out to a customer. Overall it was a fair experience.

QT's is literally in the same parking lot and 20 steps away. We walked in and were seated right away. It was slow, early dinner time, but did pick up before we left. Frederick was our server but he was more than that. He had a fun sense of humor that we played along with. He asked us where we were from (MN) and where we were going (Yellowstone via Jackson Hole). He gave us lots of advice on which route to take, what to see along the way, and where to stay once we got there. The entrees were ordered and delivered quickly. Everything tasted wonderful. I got the Bruschetta Chicken sandwich. I liked it but didn't care for the giant pieces of uncut tomatoes. Sis got the Cowboy Burger. Ma and Pa got the Mile High Sirloin Steak sandwich. Mom raved over the grilled onions and mushrooms, and she loved the thin sliced steak. Dad liked it too but passed on the Chipotle mayo. Too spice for him, I thought it was tasty on my fries. I'm sad to think I'll never be able to try other things on their menu or breakfast buffet. Hopefully if you're reading this, you will.

Waitress made the staff prepare a bowl of fruit for our son and brought him a color book, and was just the sweetest and most heart warming person to her clients. Definitely won our hearts and our tip! -Farmers favorite: 5/5 (pay for a side of green chile pork) Our waitress wasn't lying when she said it was delicious! A bite that's almost farm fresh whole being a hash like consistency makes this bite a delicious one! Soft but slightly crispy while having a rich flavor from the pork. Alone, delicious, add the pork chile verde!?!? Another level!!! Authentic hatch green chile verde to top this makes it a Mexican inspired almost gravy like consistency that just screams in savory and is the perfect match to change up the ole ketchup and hot sauce you'd drop on this kind of a meal. -sweet role: 5/5 Get the sweet role... get it with the home made glaze too! Don't just wait... order it right away before they sell out. One of the best rolls we've ordered together. Definitely worth coming in just for this... plus. It feeds 4 or more. Trust me.... I got Granny's Favorite which was 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and sourdough toast. You do get some choices with that like what meat you want, what kind of toast, and how the eggs are made, however there are no substitutions so I had to stick with the hash browns despite not loving them (not from here but in general). The food wasn't anything that overly stood out to me, but I did get a very generic breakfast. The staff, however, were friendly and some of the hosts as we were leaving were even talking about the Australian Emu War which I thought was funny. Overall, I wouldn't avoid coming back if we were in Cody, Wyoming again but I would probably see if there was a different recommendation next time.
