This place is located inside the Holiday Inn in downtown Cody. The servers are friendly and check in on you, as the morning is a buffet only. Good variety and selection, so there is something for everyone. Giving a 4 star as it's only a buffet so you are paying buffet prices even if you only want to eat light in the morning, eg: bowl of oatmeal. I wish they had a la carte options. The pancake machine, while producing tasty pancakes, has the come out very pale so it's a little unappetizing (especially since they say you eat with your eyes). When we walked in, they said it was going to be a 15 or 20 so we went and sat at the bar. I am so glad we did because Laura the bartender was amazing. That girl never stopped. The restaurant was full. The bar was full and she was on her toes. I was really excited that they Moose Drool brown ale. I got the chicken breast with a wild mushroom and leek ragout with wild rice and carrots and a salad. The hubby got the fettuccine Bolognese. He really liked it, but there was also a side of carrots. QT's was recommended to us by the Buffalo Bill Village associates. We stopped in for lodging and asked where a place to eat nearby is. QT's is literally in the same parking lot and 20 steps away. We walked in and were seated right away. It was slow, early dinner time, but did pick up before we left. Frederick was our server but he was more than that. He had a fun sense of humor that we played along with. He asked us where we were from (MN) and where we were going (Yellowstone via Jackson Hole). He gave us lots of advice on which route to take, what to see along the way, and where to stay once we got there. The entrees were ordered and delivered quickly. Everything tasted wonderful. I got the Bruschetta Chicken sandwich. I liked it but didn't care for the giant pieces of uncut tomatoes. Sis got the Cowboy Burger. Ma and Pa got the Mile High Sirloin Steak sandwich. Mom raved over the grilled onions and mushrooms, and she loved the thin sliced steak. Dad liked it too but passed on the Chipotle mayo. Too spice for him, I thought it was tasty on my fries. The service was extremely slow. I had to wait 20 minutes for my check after I asked. I waited for over half an hour total. Our server had 3 tables. The burger was very good and my food was served hot by the servers helper. I will not eat there again. read more

This restaurant is located downstairs inside Holiday Inn. All food we had here was delicious - fresh, well seasoned and lots of options. We stayed at the hotel and started out with breakfast. It's a full breakfast buffet spread with choices for anyone from healthy freshly cooked oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, to eggs, bacon, sausages, and cinnamon buns. Last night we also had dinner. I had trout, asparagus and wild rice. My husband chose fried chicken and rice, and my son Mac and Cheese and steak. My picky daughter was very happy with their salad bar. My friend and I stopped here on our way back from Yellowstone and I would rather starve than eat at this restaurant again. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it came out pink. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress she took it back and returned it a few moments later with a sarcastic remark on the side. She brought me the same under-cooked chicken sandwich, but a significant portion of the sandwich was removed. There was clearly no regard for food safety or customer service. Stopped here because the wait at Granny's was 1+hrs.. We're seated probably and the staff were nice.. After 20 minutes of placing our order we had to water nor coffee! Others who arrived after us were enjoying their breakfast. I asked the receptionist and minutes later we received our waters and coffee. Now the food, Chicken fried steak & Stake n eggs.. all came with hash browns. All tasteless and coffee was burnt cig taste. .. it's a hotel restaurant I know. It's my honest opinion. In spite of following a bus load of tourists, our service was very quick and efficient Our waiter was hustling and couldn't have been nicer. I admit, we went here because it was within walking distance of our hotel and we had been in the car all day. But I had high hopes due to the review from PK the day before we were there. The place was only about half full but we waited 5-10 minutes for the host (manger?) to acknowledge us and seat us. After ordering our food it took FOREVER, went through two rounds of bread (we had to ask a random waiter for seconds). My shrimp came out cold and my friend's steak was undercooked, but where was the waitress to tell her? No where to be found of course. We finally asked for the check and my son's "frozen treat" that came with his kid's meal and 10+ minutes later we still had not seen our waitress again. Was she out milking the cow and churning the ice cream? I have no idea. I finally went up to the host and explained that we had not received our check after 10 minutes and he was able to ring us up. He said they were supposed to have 5 servers and only 3 showed. I am sorry, but even with three and the number of people in the restaurant, it shouldn't have been a problem. And we received no compensation for not receiving my son's ice cream. The food was decent but the service was awful! read more

Three stars only for the service. Make sure you check what is charged on the receipt before you check out. I had a free beer and they tried to charge me anyways for it. The food has been good to okay but never bad. Traveling here for work. CODY has a limited option of good clean restraints and I was staying at the holiday in for my travels. We picked this on a whim because it was within walking distance of our hotel after a long day of driving. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! We felt super safe, staff went above and beyond with safety measures, distancing, and cleanliness. Food was outstanding. Fresh warm bread with olive oil delish, I had the fettuccine alfredo with grilled shrimp. Sauce was freshly made and delish, but if you don't like a healthy dose of garlic steer clear. I loved it though. But above all was the grilled shrimp - best I've EVER had. Freshly grilled and done perfectly. 10/10 would order again. My husband had a burger and said it was great. Go here in the winter for the seafood buffet on Friday nights. It is really good. They have a lot of variety and everything was fresh. I typically hate buffets so this is saying a lot!!! It is not cheap but it is good!!! So nice to have a Friday night treat. read more

Attempted to eat here on the evening of July 20th, 2013. Our apologetic server Steven could not make up for the incompetent kitchen. This was the only time I ever had to get up from a restaurant and walk out on a meal. Besides numerous order errors, the food that arrived at our table last night was unsafe to eat and you just have to wonder about how a restaurant can be so poorly run that they allow unsafe food out of the kitchen. As locals, we don't often think to go to the restaurants in the hotels. We had a gift card though and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent! I had their ribeye special that was loaded with sautéed mushrooms. The steak was seasoned perfectly and the baked potato and broccoli Was very good. Husband had a bacon cheese and BBQ sauce burger and said it was one of the best he's ever had. As a burger connoisseur this is high praise! Atmosphere was very pleasant and not the craziness that typifies Cody in the summer. Only thing to say is that service was a little slow and took a bit for food to arrive. A friend and I decided to meet for lunch there. During their remodel they are serving in a different room. I ordered the salmon BLT,which arrived at our table with black,burned bread. I decided to try it,but all you could taste was the burned bread. My friend's bread was also rather black. I sent the sandwich back,but after waiting rather a long time for the replacement decided to cancel the order. To their credit they comped my friend's meal,but I have to wonder why the cook thought it was ok to send something out with burned,black bread. Needless to say,we won't be going back,however I do have to add that their holiday buffets have always been excellent. read more

We did breakfast as a family and it was horrible. The biscuits and gravy were cold and the gravel was like jelly. The eggs were supposed to be over medium and came out over hard. The service was terrible as well. The manager was not at all worried about the experience that we had. Then we were going to try them again for lunch and they decided to be closed. Why would you have your doors open and people being served if you were closed. The website also states they are open for lunch until 2:00 p.m. This is the most poorly managed restaurant we have been to thus far. read more
