We came in for lunch, it was decently busy. We ordered onion rings & corn nuggets to start. The corn nuggets are sweet corn kernels battered and fried- they're surprisingly delicious. My husband and I had been traveling 4 days to get to Yellowstone National Park. We finally got here on Thursday (7/17) after leaving the previous Monday and we were hungry from not eating since breakfast. We both got a brisket sandwich, mine with corn on the cob and his with a side of fries. Let me tell you, telling my husband I required barbecue while here was the best decision I ever made. In town for 2 days ate here both nights, so much food the first night I ordered the kids meal the second night and still couldn't finish it! The baby back ribs are to die for! Cooked to perfection! The hotel ewww stayed at recommended this place but I cannot figure out why. The brisket was very dry and begging for seasoning. The Mac and cheese was decent but I would not recommend this spot because of overall lack and flavor. Seated quickly my waitress Dee was working multiple tables before she took my order. I started with the excellent all you can eat salad bar which Ella did an outstanding job of keeping everything looking and tasting exceptional. Dee brought my meal of brisket with garlic bread, fries, and cole slaw. Fries were delicious and cooked perfect. Cole slaw was just ok for me. Large dining room with comfortable booth seating, the noise was not bad and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Key word at this location, endless salad bar!! Apparently the only one in town, and it lived up to the reputation. We went back three times, mostly due to how good the Broccoli Salad was! 10/10!!! We also ordered two brisket sandwiches on garlic butter toast and just WOW! Dusted chips as the app and they were very good too, with their house rub on them that was a perfect blend. The pulled pork lunch sandwich came with your choice of one side (I chose fries), and choice of bread (either a bun, or garlic toast). I asked the waitress which one did she recommend, and she suggested the garlic toast if I wanted to be different. The other dish ordered was a turkey bbq sandwhich, which we chose beans as our side. The food took about 17 minutes to arrive. The pulled pork and bbq sauce were good. However, putting it on the garlic bread threw the taste off. If I could give this place a higher review I would. THEY HAVE HOMEMADE POTATO CHIPS!!!! I love me some chips and these were amazing!! When it came to split the tab the server tried her best and it was wrong but we worked with her to straighten it out. Came back a second and third time - still wrong. We wrote out each tab for her - still wrong. Asked for the owner, tried explaining it, got some attitude to start with but she ended up taking our pops off and gave us a 10% discount. However, we waited longer to close out our tab than it took us to order and eat. Super disappointing. We worked harder to correct & close our tabs than it was worth unfortunately. This place was great! If you go away hungry, it is your own fault. My husband and I got the Big Combo and it was way more food than the two of us could eat. In the combo we got pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken and a couple of beef ribs. For our sides we chose new potatoes, their homemade barbeque chips, and baked beans. A couple pieces of garlic toast completed our meal. Everything was SO good, but I think I liked the pulled pork the best. The pork came naked, allowing you to add as much sauce as you wanted to it. The sauce that was included in a little dish was very good. I really liked the new potatoes.........they were just so creamy. After a very long wonderful day at Yellowstone Park we finally got to our hotel and found out all the restaurants were closed in the town we're staying in. We drove 20 minutes to Coty, WY. We stopped at the 1st place we found on Yelp. There was a long line at check in so we waited outside. The 1st thing I noticed was the servers weren't wearing masks but it appeared every other table was empty. Could have been that it was 8 pm when we got there. They did have lots of choices and even a gluten free menu. I ordered the grilled chicken with the gluten free bun and mixed vegetables. The chicken sandwich was ok. The vegetables tasted like they were heated up frozen vegetables . My husband got the barbecue brisket and said it was pretty good. My husband, a retired port authority police officer, and I were visiting Yellowstone and decided to catch the rodeo in Cody. We stopped first at Bubba's BBQ for a bite to eat. Blane, our funny, charming, and handsome server greeted us warmly and noticed my husband's hat which indicated his police work. He asked questions about The Port Authority and my husband shared the story about their location in the twin towers and how he personally knew 23 of the 37 officers who lost their lives on 9/11. Blane shared how Bubba's is very supportive of our police officers and military personal and that we would be getting a discount. The meal came and WOW was it good. We split a full rack of ribs and the meat literally fell off the bone!! Absolutely delicious! Great service, great food and great honor to those that put their lives on the line. The discount was more than we anticipated and we were so moved by his good heart and our full bellies! Highly recommend Bubba's if you're in Cody!! Ask for Blane! read more

Brisket and Pork had very little smoke or seasoning, my brisket had been sitting around a while and was dry and almost pot roast like. Corn Nuggets were good and our server provided me with butter and honey to make my own honey butter. The Bubba-Billa was a good as well, I used BBQ sauce instead of the provided salsa. I chose potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans. I am a big eater and could not finish my entree. The ribs were tender and the chicken was moist. They serve all the usual bbq meats and plenty of sides to satisfy everyone's appetite. They are open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Most seating is booth style with padded seats. As far as we could tell, this place when open, has a lot of customers judging from the fairly full parking lot every time we went by. We decided to give it a try, anticipated wait, which there was. When we were notified that a table was ready, Misty S, our server is obviously experienced. We ordered fried cheese curds and brews to start, as well as the BBQ chicken plater and another entree. Our brew came but we waited quite awhile on our food. I could see staff in the kitchen hustling and the tables were full with a que of people still waiting to get in. Misty finally came and apologized for our order somehow having been lost. We told her we were hungry but were enjoying the beer and glad to be sitting inside. She told us that the beer we'd ordered would be on the house and had again placed our order. The cheese curds were wonderful, and not just because we were hungry! We laughed about had we known, we could have each ordered one for ourselves and been happy with that. The other aromas were amazing and the plates going to other tables matched them. When our meals arrived, we loved every bite and left feeling stuffed. While we aren't likely to get to Cody again any time soon, we'd definitely make it a point to return to Bubbas BBQ. read more
