Passing thru Cody- an online review landed us here. Food excellent- French dip is worth a cross country flight, the au jus should be bottled. Yeah I sipped it. Split the French dip with my buddy who had a Reuben. The corned beef is made in house. So good. Food is all made here, not a rehash of a Sysco delivery. We talked to the owner who is onsite WORKING, not sitting and drinking at the bar. Talk to her if you can, her enthusiasm comes thru in the food and service. We were traveling and in town for one night. We found Pat's after a search online and glad we did! What a great place! Small restaurant with lots of locals at the bar, not noisy or loud at all. Our server was the nicest guy. He answered all our questions about the beer, joked around with us and checked on us several times. They brew their own beer and both of the ones we tried were very good. I had the Fuggle Cuddle Brown and my partner had the Sybil Stout. For dinner I ordered the Fish & Chips which came with house cut French Fries. The fish was perfectly cooked with a tasty crunchy beer batter crust that was not greasy at all. The fries were so good, just crispy enough. My partner had the brat sandwich which came topped with onions and sauerkraut and he loved it! I ordered a house salad also and that was yummy also. I (we) have been to Pats twice in the last week. Last Thursday and last night. Last week the service was great.... the food was good and they could not have been better. Both nights I sat outside with my service dog. Last week great. Last nightmade eye contact with both the server and bartender . Then ... nothing. Watched people walk in and seat them selves... watched them get menues and drink orders. Got up and left 25 minutes later . We had really hoped Pats could be a go to but this lack of service is a no go. After telling friends here in Cody about our great experience last week they watned us that Pats was a 50 50 place at best. Sadly this proved to be true. read more

My husband and I walked to Pat's Brew House from one of the local hotels. We sat outside on the patio. It was in the shade and there was a nice breeze. All of the staff were so friendly and Chad took especially good care of us, even giving us recommendations about local bars and live bands. My husband had the blonde ale and an amber beer and loved them!! We had Irish Egg-rolls (not pictured) for an appetizer which were delicious and filling!! If you're looking for a sports bar, I think this is your pick! We got there just as got busy but service was pretty good a very friendly. I don't drink beer but they had several house handles, as well as other local brews on tap. My husband liked the pale ale He had the steak frites and the steak was perfectly cooked, with a nice char grill on it. I ordered 2 piece fish and chips. Tonight we were looking for a dog friendly place to eat. We decided to go to Pat's Brew House, but it was a little chilly to sit outside. We couldn't find a parking spot close enough to keep on eye on Freckles. We decided to leave her in the car. I asked David to go in and see if we could bring her in. I didn't catch the name of the server , but she told us to park right in front and gave us a table right by the window, so we could keep an eye on her. The place was bustling with brewery right in the middle. Dave ordered the Ethell Zappa IPA , brewed right there. I had a cup of warm coffee because I wasn't feeling great today. Dave ordered the four piece Fish and Chips and I had the Pesto Chicken Pasta. The fish was lightly battered and served with a home made tartar sauce. The fish was moist and delicious. I had the Pesto Chicken Pasta, pasta with grilled chicken and grilled bacon in a Parmesan sauce with pieces of Parmesan on top. It was excellent and Dave helped me finish it! The kindness of the server made our last night in this beautiful city so wonderful. Chad also helped us with our food! Coming to our table to make sure everything was great. I recommend that you try Pat's Brew House if you have a chance! You won't regret it! read more

Had dinner there last night. The place was very busy but the friendly staff assured us a table would open quickly and it did. The place was mostly full of locals and that is always a good sign. I had pulled pork tacos which were outstanding. My wife had the Southwest bowl. She said it was good but needed more seasoning like cumin and cayenne. The beers and cider were also very good. It was the best meal we have eaten in Cody. Give Pats a try I am sure you will enjoy it. read more

The fries were the best we've had in a while; they were hot and crisp. The outside might not seem welcoming but the staff are and they were attentive filling drinks and checking in. What a find. In the area for a wedding. Needed a place that (a.) served porters or stouts, (b.) would have Euro 2024 matches on TV, and (c.) served great food. Trifecta! Delicious beer, terrific pub offerings. Irish eggrolls: delightful. Philly cheesesteak: yum. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were happy to put matches on the big screen, so we were set. I ordered a cheeseburger, medium, and it was served essentially raw, it was pink and the bun was soaked with bloody juices. I took two bites before I noticed it. I called over the server and told him it was severely underdone. He took it away. When he returned with it, it had simply been cut in half, with the bitten portion removed, and again it was running red. I simply couldn't believe it. By this point the rest of my party was long finished, and I asked for a to go box, which I threw away later. At least they took it off the bill, but honestly, I have never had a restaurant unable to get a burger cooked. And to just return half the burger? My overall experience was not a great one in this small town brewery. The server was pleasant and nice but didn't visit as much as i would prefer. I had ordered a few flights of beer at my time here and was not impressed with most of the beers they offered. I know its a subjective experience but I was disappointed in most of the choices. I ordered the fish and chips. The fries were rather basic and common with little interest about them. The fish was good and served with common tarter sauce but nothing great nor bad about it. The restaurant was moderately clean. The cost was really what caught me of guard. The food wasn't nearly worth the price and made me regret coming here as there are plenty of options in this tourist trap town. read more
