Huckleberry lemonade
August W.

Phenomenal pizza and great service! The menu has gluten free options as well. We drove the beartooth highway from Yellowstone and were THRILLED to have so many great menu items to choose from after a week of eating sandwiches out of our cooler. The pizza has great flavor, delicious crust. The garlic parmesan fries were some of the best I've had anywhere. I was in a huckleberry mood and the lemonade just hit the spot! Our waitress was the sweetest woman, very attentive and helpful. This would also be a great place to take kids. If we find ourselves in Red Lodge again someday, it will be to get pizza!

The customer service and environment was great! No complaints... Coming thru the town again for work but stopped by for food this time around 8:30p, was served drinks and food with great customer service, highly recommend to travelers and locals! We got a SMALL pizza, fish and chips, house salad and salad, several house Moscow mules and more. Stop by for the food, remember it's not just pizza :) The small pizza is also surprisingly large!

My friends and I were on a motorcycle trip coming up from Denver metro area. Dorpped into this place. Taylor, our server was awesome! She's a high school student working hard. Great personality, super friendly, and made excellent recommendations for food. We had an excellent conversation with her. Everything tasted delicious. The food was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Rural route pizza.

I love pizza. Seriously. If I had only a week to live, I'd eat pizza almost exclusively all that week. So, when visiting/vacationing, I wanna know where good pizza is in town. I looked on yelp (as always!), and found Red Lodge pizza. It had 4 star and so I went to see what the 1stars had to say. Honestly, I have no idea what their problem was. This place is soooooo good!! We ordered the pizza roll and garlic fries for appetizers. Both amazing. Then ordered three medium pizzas - rural route, a meat pizza (I forgot the name), and the Newman (a bison meatball pizza). All of them had excellent crust/bread. All of them had fresh ingredients, had perfectly placed and seasoned toppings, and we the perfect size for 8people. And all of them had incredible sauce (homemade) and cheese. We also had great service. Allie (not sure if that's how she spells it, lol) was very attentive, quick, helpful, and had a great smile. If I lived in Red Lodge, I'd be here at least once a week. Highly highly recommended!

Our first time in Red Lodge or Montana for that matter.Really good food. The service was even better- Love the look of an old soda shop.

This is the mail bag specialty pizza.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Love the environment. Worth making the trip to Red Lodge for the pizza alone.

It has an eclectic, cozy feel to it and you are immediately welcomed as you enter the door. Food is served tapas style which I liked because we were able to try more things! Things we ordered: Pork belly: Smoky and super flavorful, had a nice labneh sauce with it Brussels sprouts: Deliciously coated in buffalo cause and Gorgonzola cheese Broccolini: one of my favorites, paired with pine nuts and a salsa verde sauce Duck & Foie Sausage: Hearty sausage paired with creamed leeks- interesting flavor combos here! Lamb sliders: I liked these paired with goat cheese but nothing special Sticky toffee pudding: decadent caramel delight! Order this! Drinks: Watermelon cucumber margarita (made with agave wine) super refreshing and strong I was impressed by the unique flavor combinations of the dishes and overall experience I had here. Great place that offers local Red Lodge cuisine!

The ciders are consistently great and we always make a point to stop in when we're in town. However, visiting in the off-season can be tricky. When we were there, only one employee was working the bar. We ordered a beer and a cider flight, but after we ordered several more customers came in and lined up. The bartender understandably tried to take care of everyone, but ended up serving at least six new arrivals -- pouring beers and running payments -- while our order never came. After about 20 minutes we had to leave, which was really disappointing because we were genuinely looking forward to it. This isn't a complaint about the staff -- she was clearly doing her best -- just a heads-up: if you visit during slower months, be prepared for limited staffing and longer waits (and possibly no food service). We'll definitely still come back... just maybe during busier season next time.

I was leaning towards something mediocre put there to drain the pockets of a would-be thristy, or perhaps hungry, passerby... We drove through the hoards of people to the outskirts, where the crowds thinned & the parking opened up to a large lot. Cool. So far, so good. The red building was easy enough to spot & there was music playing from a tent in the field. We headed for the building door from the back of the building and found ourselves sniffing the air... could that be house smoked meat? Yes, yes, it is... and making us walk by a smoker is a sure-fire (pun intended) way to get us to buy your food along with your beer! On to the bar we went, where we were met by an energetic 1 day a week worker. (We know because she mentioned it, we weren't THAT nosey!) She gave us a run through & we ordered our BOGO brews & an order of pulled pork tacos with black beans to split. Were they spicy tacos, no. Were they on flour instead of corn, yes. Was the pork tender, juicy, flavorful & smoky... YES! The black beans were a great side choice if I must say so myself & both paired well with our beer options. Dually Double IPA in at 4.5 for Kel - n/a from me Dog Pull Porter in at 3.75 from Kel & 4 from me Unfortunately, the only to-go option then was growlers & that didn't work for us at the time. Next time through, perhaps it will or crowlers (other options) will be available. We would indeed go back. On paying, they did miss the bogo beer & offered us our choice of refund and recharge correctly or 2 free drinks next visit. As we haf no idea when we'd be back, we sadly had to opt for the refund. I want to emphasize that it was NOT an international overcharge & it was immediately corrected.

My dinner at Piccola was memorable. My order began with the octopus on a bed of arugula. The serving was beautifully presented on a lovely, long white dish. The octopus was flawlessly prepared; tender, consistent and delicious. Arugula salad was dressed with a complementary vinaigrette that enhanced the flavor of the octopus. My main course was their special, spaghetti with a Parmesan sauce with shrimp and lobster. Again, gorgeous presentation, the dish was hot and so rich, I saved half for the following day's lunch. Superb. Dessert was their gelato cappuccino. Two generous scoops and lush. Service was as expected in a restaurant of this caliber; impeccable. The venue is charming, relaxed and immaculately clean. This was an incredible experience. Thank you again to everyone on Piccola's team who created this memorable evening for me, Bill

Server was alone, but managed great. I ordered the gnocchi and my wife ordered the carbonara. The bread that came complimentary was great and the butter and oil that was provided was tasty. My wife didnt really enjoy her carbonara because the noodles were too al dente however the flavor and sauce was good. I thought the gnocchi was a little bland as did my wife. However what was great was that ragu sauce with it. The sauce was amazing and I wish I had gotten that with pasta noodles. The reason for the low stars is because while the food tasted great, there were things that were lacking. Most crucial on the review was the fact that we had a direct view to the kitchen where we saw the chef on his phone the entire time. Several poses, bent over, hunched over and just standing there. We also watched him put several items in the microwave so we wondered how fresh the items were. Maybe this was a worker just reheating what the head chef made last week? Id give it another go, but recommend that the owner put up a curtain so we cant see the staff on their phone the entire time.
