My wife and I shared a Pepperoni, Sausage, and Mushroom (Read: Fungus) pizza and it was great! We ordered a medium pizza and a side Caesar Salad. We had soda water and did not imbibe in any of their craft brews. I would encourage Cody Craft Brewing to offer some draft ciders to their offerings. They have had them in the past - maybe it was the time of our visit just before Labor Day weekend. Had the Italian Calzone which has a lighter crust. I always enjoy seeing how different regions make food. I think I prefer this lighter bread than the heavy bread you often get in a calzone. We stopped here for a drink and dinner our first night in town. Loved the patio area and drinks were good. Unfortunately, we didn't order any food because our waitress (who was very sweet), just had no knowledge of allergies. (Allergies are milk and egg, part of the Big-9 allergens). We didn't go extra lengths to talk to kitchen staff and went to another restaurant. If you have allergies, I would proceed with caution. Just finished dinner and drinks at Cody Craft Brewing. We had a flight of 4 beers and then settled on a pint of the Brow Tine Brown and the Much Obliged. Then we were "forced" to have one more before we left, going with Desert Sunset and another Brown Tine Brown. Coming from CO, we can be a little bit of craft beer snobs and we loved all these beers and grabbed a crowler of the Desert Sunset to take back to our room. Loved the food (calzone and the Philly) and the beers. And Kiersten was super patient as we tried to decide what we wanted to eat and drink. Two thumbs way up. The server was pleasant, but she set our pizza on a tall, wobbly rack. She could have just set the pizza on the table, where there was plenty of room. Halfway through the meal, our pizza fell on the floor. Server only offered to throw it away-- nothing to replace it! Then she took away what was left of my beer, which really was the best part of the dining experience. The pizza was good but skimpy, as if they were running low on ingredients. It was getting late, so I think they just wanted us to leave. There were still other diners there, however. All in all, could have been a much better experience. read more

Let me start by saying we're not beer drinkers! We came to Cody Brewing through Harvest Hosts and boy am I glad we did! Not only are the people amazing but the beers are GOOD!! That's coming from two people that don't know an IPA from an ale!! When we arrived, we were greeted with a smile by a super friendly gal that was genuinely happy to see us. We told her we were with Harvest Hosts and she said great, park anywhere you want out front and make yourselves at home! She even said the bathrooms were available as long as they were open! We got comfy and came in for a taster and stayed for a couple more rounds! It was trivia night and it looked like a ton of fun! We didn't get there in time but the folks playing were definitely enjoying themselves. There's even free popcorn and a food truck out front! We had a taster of 4 very generous pours, our favorite being the lighter, more fruity, Jellystone, but the Whistle Wetter was also a favorite. I certainly would have liked to rate Cody Brewing higher. They have a great selection and the taproom is perfect. But two things dragged my rating down: no food trucks on a Saturday, and no wine, just beer. My wife doesn't drink beer so we were quite disappointed to find that there was nothing for her. After coming for a few years, they now have brought in a restaurant, which some people love, but has changed the vibe from a brewery to a restaurant that has some of their "own beers". And for pet owners, this used to be one of the only places you could bring your pet inside, but we are now stuck out on the patio instead of being able to socialize inside. Cody Craft Cervezeria! This brewery is a great addition to the Cody brewing scene! This place is plainly superior- it's got some wild beers, wide open places to sit and hang out on picnic tables, windows to look in on the brewing process- this place has it all! There's games in the corner so you don't get bored - Yahtzee! There's also map boards that tell you where people came from- put a pin in it! You'll see mine there. Turns out, the owners are from San Antonio! Score! Texas beer! They sell some merch in the corner- I got a sticker and a patch. Be sure to get one of their flights if you don't know what to get. They offered four big pours. My favorite was a chili pepper flavored beer- usually these beers are so awful you just gotta try them- but this one was so light and likable! It was delicious! The staff was quite attentive, and made great recommendations on beers. They seem to get nerdy with their beers- describing them to a T, using official terms and ways to measure beer- they aren't cutting corners here! My favorite was the Texas flag hanging thoughtfully from the ceiling by the fermentation tanks. read more
